Not many customers, as in maybe 2 other groups of two, 1 group of 3-4?? but waited a really long time to order then waited even longer to check out. The other time was just this past Tuesday. We had ordered togo, and living about 15-20mins away. You would hope everything in your order was in your togo bag. My togo order 5lb crawfish, 1lb mussels, 1lb shrimp, & 2 potatoes. I was missing my 5lbs of crawfish, but had a bag of 1lb of mussels, 1lb of shrimp, & 2 potatoes. Called back told them i had the wrong order. Was put on hold for 5+ minutes trying to figure out what happened. Something about miscommunications with the kitchen. So I drove back another 15-20mins wasted. They offered to remake the food, thats fine? I just wanted what i paid for. Considering the time wasted the time spent going back and forth. They offered rice, but at this point you just really want your food. Sadly just to find out i was still missing my potatoes.. Went in yesterday around 5:30, they only had one girl working the front which looked very very stressed out, she had about 5 tables and then 3 of us in line, she asked whoever was in the back about 3 times if they could help her, and it took almost 10 min for 3 boys to come out to the front, and only one decided to try to help, but even then he disappeared, what were they doing if we can see right into the kitchen and there was only 1 boy cooking? Having only one person up in the front of a restaurant is unacceptable especially when you have customers in line and on the floor waiting. Overall she stayed professional and tried to help as fast as she could even though you could tell she was overwhelmed. One day I came in the waitress was really helpful at explaining the menu (I've never eaten anything like this, where items were market price) so time passes my food came and oh my goodness! It was my heaven on earth!!! It was SUPER HOT (Temp.) just how I like it. The sauce I got was allsome sauce which is their Lemon pepper, garlic butter & Cajun sauce put together. My husband got lemon pepper. Both were delicious!!!! I will say if you want more for your bucks, I suggest the shrimp. Since it is by pound. Other items like crawfish and crab , you really pay for the shell and little meat! I ordered 1/2 pound Dungeness crab cluster + corn cob (medium spice and garlic butter sauce) and calamari, the friend I went with got 1/2 pound king crab legs with shrimp + corn and potatoes (lemon pepper sauce, spicy). We came early in the day (about 15 minutes after opening) so we were sat quickly. There was only one other pair sitting down in the restaurant and a few people waiting for to-go orders near the front when we arrived. More people started arriving and it was jam packed within the hour. It seemed like there was only one server on the floor, so service was extremely slow. We had our drink order taken (two sodas) a little less than 10 minutes after we got sat. There were multiple tables who got sat after us and received their drinks before we did. We had our orders taken maybe 30 minutes after we got sat, and received the food 15-20 minutes after placing our orders. My calamari came out first. My food came out exactly as I ordered it while my friend received an extra corn cob, but got sausage instead of the potatoes she ordered. The server who took our order didn't check back on us but the two other workers who were on the floor at this point did. I wish there were multiple servers at opening, I feel like we would have gotten our drinks quicker and the one server wouldn't have been as overloaded. We didn't say anything about the sausage as my friend chose not to. It's also quite pricey for just the crab, though add-ons that you would typically expect to come with the boil (corn, potatoes, etc) weren't too expensive. They had just opened and we got seated promptly. Being new to this establishment we didn't know exactly how to go about ordering food. It was then when the waitress explained that everything is by the pound, mixed in a bag with seasoning and any additional add on (i.e. potatoes, corn, sausage etc) At first I thought one pound would be more than enough. I ordered the muscles with some corn, potatoes and sausage. My coworker ordered crawfish and corn. When the food arrived BOY oh boy. The aroma of the seasoning was so mouth watering. Fried cod was really good. Comparing this place to the other place in town, I would prefer the other place, due to service, price, and taste. This place was clean, but the service was not that great. The hidden gem of Fresno! Each person who gives this place less than 5 stars needs to do some serious self-reflection and soul searching. The food is beyond delicious, even if a bit pricy. I came in, looked at the menu, and barked out my order getting more and more excited as items were being added. They advised me it would be about 15 minutes, which I asked them to be quicker, but they carefully calmed me down said they just wanted to cook the meal fully. They would not compromise on quality and I am GRATEFUL!! I paced back and forth in front of their restaurant when I saw them wave me in and hand me a delicious bag full of cajun seafood!! I could not wait and jammed my hand and started gobbling away at a shrimp. It was simply delectable! I hopped in my rusty old ford 1970 F150 pickup truck and the food smelled so delicious that I ate every last bite before getting home when my wife angrily opened the door and yelled at me for eating the food before getting home AGAIN (I have only done this a handful of times)! I said this cajun gumbo was so delicious I simply could not wait, then I went back to the spot and picked up another delicious bag of seafood!
