This is the place I go to eat when I want total satisfaction, I've never had a bad experience here. The food has always been fantastic. The price is very reasonable (if this restaurant was downtown it could easily charge 2-3 times more). On 4/9/18 my girlfriend and I were hungry after a long busy morning of running errands and she wanted to try something new so I went to Yelp did my research on a couple places. I know my girlfriend is a huge fan of crepes so I took her to The Creperie based on its great reviews. As soon as we entered its a nice small little place and smells and looks well maintained. One of the employees/waiter (an older gentlemen) handed us the menu and told us we can sit anywhere we would like. A few minutes after browsing the menu he came on by and asked if we were ready, but we were indecisive on what to eat. He asked us what we were craving and I wanted more of a lunch crepe and my girlfriend a sweet crepe. I ended up choosing the chicken crepe and my girlfriend choose a banana crepe la belle based on his recommendation. When he brought the crepes to our table they were big and looked delicious. The crepes had such a great flavor and definitely recommend to come try this place out at least once. The service was great! The server made us feel welcomed and gave us some great recommendations on what to choose and don't regret trying this place out. Crepe was good, only thing was lady behind the counter was cashing out customers while making my crepe, I don't think that's very sanitary. I mentioned it to the lady, she just didn't get it. She was wearing a single glove, but her bare hand was touching the other. Wonderful owners! Ordered the crepe de salmon to go (yum!) and added a cup of tomato bisque when I was there. Massive portions, I can barely finish it all! The lovely couple made pleasant conversation while making my soup from scratch! The little kitchen area is right up front so you can see everything. I'm a short and to the point type guy. The chicken crepe was honestly one of the best crepes I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The couple that runs the place are amazing and extremely friendly. The crepes are unique and not your typical spongy type. The desert crepes were fantastic as well. We got the banana, strawberry and Ice cream one. Soo good. Don't be dissuaded by the busy shopping plaza and the unassuming look of the place. This establishment delivers! Crepes are a "fad" food that have taken their time to come to Turlock (like 6 years), but this place makes up for the wait. I had the Mediterranean Chicken and the hubby had the gyro. Both were incredibly flavorful, well seasoned, and the filling didn't soggy up the crepe. The crepe itself was delicate enough and strong enough to hold its own against the filling. Looking for a decent salad and found this place. The chicken salad was fresh and grilled well. It was a basic green salad with peprochinni peppers, olives, and bells and a full breast of chicken. The iced-tea was fresh. Only complaint is that they are not very good at being waiters/waitresses. I had to go up to the counter to get a refill and to ask for a check, even me being the only person in the place. They are not very attentive. The food was fresh and tasted good. read more
