My wife had received doll cakes for her birthday when she was very young and I wanted to bring back that memory. When entering this business establishment, they seemed to give great customer service. They were very polite, but seem always agitated for no reason. I get that there is high stress level of making specific cakes for people and the creativity that comes with that, but this is when things get a little awkward. Me and my lady wanted a laboratory theme for my graduation with the school name, controller (as I am a gamer), and a assortment of colors. My lady stated this twice about have numerous colors within the theme (red, blue, gold,etc.). Additionally, we gave examples of what could have been a laboratory presentation. Example: a syringe with blood. While explaining all this, it seems like our I ideas were being ignored. After the first conversation and second conversation, I felt you would grab a piece of paper or get one of many other individuals to write what we were describing of what we wanted. After these conversation we decided to tell the owner, Alicia to be creative by letting her express her mind. This came after we were not being ignored. I was actually refered by another company to come to this place who provided great customer service and were booked all the way up to June. Based on the pictures I viewed, I thought I would get a more creative cake from this company or business. Additionally, the awkward comments made me uncomfortable. Speaking to the staff and owner, felt like I was talking to artificial intelligence (AI). As if their was a scripted answer for everything and if they did not know what to say, their would be a pause in the conversation. It was amazing how our first interaction after describing what we wanted, which we ignored by the way, we got our invoice with 48 hours with a total price of $150.00. I would could have been a recurring customer, being that we have multiple events coming up, but after this experience, I will not be utilizing this place of business anymore. Update: I could reply to what you said, but it is not my fault as a customer that you have more than your share of orders. It seems like you have a passive aggressive attitude towards what was stated. If any particular person wanted to help at the time of me entering your place of business, they would have assisted me in that manner, but they did not. Overall, instead of being defensive about what I said, taking constructive criticism would have been more professional. However, I can say (cause I am just now seeing what you wrote) even though the presentation was not what we expected the cake was good. Additionally, a red flag for me should have been the second time we walked into your place of business and another individual was complaining about a cake you made. I will reiterate what I said, " instead of being defensive about what I stated, taking constructive criticism would have been more professional." What did you stat in your comment, "I am only human."
