One of our new favorites! Not sure how we didn't know about this before. Spacious, casual, and friendly staff. We have tried and loved all the variety of meat and sides. My personal favorite is the brisket and tri tip + coleslaw and potatoe salad. My family loves the mac and cheese, fries, corn bread.

I would give this BBQ joint a 3.5 score. The customer service was pretty good; Very nice, friendly, and welcoming. The reason I'm giving this place a 3.5 is strictly for the food. We ordered 2 plate combo with tri tip and brisket and 2 sides: Mac n cheese and fries. We also ordered the brisket sandwich with fries. We got fountain drinks and to our surprise, they had their own soda flavors! They had a vanilla , cherry, and another flavor that I can't recall. We tried the cherry soda and it wasn't my favorite but my husband enjoyed it. The food came out pretty quickly. The brisket was tender and had some good fat marbling however I found it to be dry and not moist. It also lacked flavor but the bbq sauce helped with flavoring. Unfortunately, the tri tip also lacked flavor and moistness. The Mac n cheese was okay but nothing to write home about. The star of the meal was the garlic bread! That was a nice surprise and it tasted really good. The fries were also nice and crispy and fresh. Overall, I think this is an average bbq place in terms of flavor. I would have liked the meat to taste smokier and seasoned as well as more juicy. This would suffice if you were craving a quick fast service style bbq place. Don't think I'd recommend or try this place again though.

Tried their tri tip sandwich with a side order of potato salad. The meat had a nice smoked flavor and seemed very fresh. It was a tad dry. The quality of meat was great. I enjoyed it and it was better without any BBQ sauce! The potato salad was tasty and was a nice size serving. Friendly service and I like the dining area inside. One of the best lunches I have had in Monterey County.

We come back yearly for our anniversary. So far we've had crossroads bbq every time we roll into town. Unfortunately had to take the food to go since we took the pup for a walk but everything is as good! Tri tip and brisket were great! Bread pudding was good too! I have to try it again but I house so it's nice and warm when I do. Johnny was nice, we spoke bbq and explained menu items well! Great service! See you next year, bud!

4 meat combo, two sides, and choice of bread

Surprisingly really good coming from a Bay Area foodie family. The whole fam said thumbs up. The staff was friendly and ready to help us or answer any questions. Ambience was casual but modern and clean. Let's get to the food! The Santa Maria salad ($23) that comes with half a pound of tri-tip was very green, fresh, savory, and filling. I used the blue cheese dressing and drizzled a bit of bbq sauce on it! In addition we ordered the four meat combo ($42) and tried tri-tip, brisket, burnt ends, and pork ribs. The high list was the moist brisket, tri tip was also good. Ribs were decent but not quite falling off the bone. As for the burnt ends, it's more drenched in sweet bbq sauce than burnt. Also decent but you'll have to eat it with bread otherwise it's too saucy to eat alone. Now the sides we got the potato salad very solid and tasty. The baked beans were tender but not over done. Good bbq flavor with bits of pulled pork. Flavor and seasoning level was just perfect so that you can eat endless amounts and not be sick of it. Our fam of 4 was pretty good at this point but since brisket was a fan favorite from our boys we ordered another half pound of brisket ($23). Good, but I'd say the combos are better value. We shall be back when we're in town!

Coleslaw tastes ok but bland in appearance. Needs some color of purple cabbage, carrots and possibly raisins. Brisket was a bit dry. Ribs were ok. BBQ sauces were yummy.

Tri Tip Sandwich, Turkey Sandwich, Tri Tip

10/10 Ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich, Turkey Sandwich, and a side of Tri Tip, and wow, absolutely amazing meal all around. I'd 100% recommend every single one of these options. Starting with the Tri Tip Sandwich, this was easily my personal highlight and an absolute must-try. The tri tip was cooked to perfection juicy, well-seasoned, and incredibly tender. Every bite had that perfect balance of smoky flavor and seasoning. The bread was soft and fresh, holding everything together without overpowering the meat. The pickled onions, cucumbers, and jalapeños added the perfect tangy crunch and brightness to cut through the richness. I ordered the salad on the side, and they were generous with the portion, super fresh and crisp. We also ordered the Tri Tip (just the meat), and it truly speaks for itself. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked flawlessly. I honestly kept thinking, how do they make it this good? The Turkey Sandwich completely surprised me, in the best way possible. Turkey can sometimes be dry, but this was the opposite. It was incredibly juicy and executed to a tee. The sauce paired perfectly and elevated the whole sandwich. The bread again was soft and fresh, tying everything together. Easily one of the best turkey sandwiches I've ever had. A staple for sure We also tried the cornbread, it was good! Personally, I would've loved a bit more char on the edges and a stronger corn flavor, but it was still enjoyable overall. Service was amazing. Our waiter brought the food out promptly, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was warm and rustic, such a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

This place was okay! I got the kids meal which included 3oz of meat, a side, and my choice of bread. Solid deal and sufficient to fill me up. The brisket was juicy and tender! Best part of the meal. The spicy bbq sauce was a nice addition. I didn't care for the beans or cornbread unfortunately they were dry and lacking in flavor. Otherwise, service is quick and easy. Staff and host were very friendly. Lively spot for families, couples, and solos alike in a nice plaza in the heart of downtown Carmel.

We have made this a regular stop for takeout and dine in! They have a simple menu with good, barbecued meat and side dishes. Unique takes like shredded pork breakfast tacos, meat-filled baked spuds and large serving portions make it hard to resist. If you're not in the mood for meat, they have a Berry Bleu salad with blackberries, apples, glazed pecans and bleu cheese. It's a large portion and delicious! Enjoy the patio on a sunny day with your pet and watch as people walk by. Their staff is super friendly and to put a stamp on it all, they have a rewards program that leads to $$ rewards pretty fast. They have seasonal specials. In November, they had barbecued turkey that you could have as a combo or as a sandwich. In February 2026, they will have beef ribs. Three of us shared the bread pudding at the last visit and it had delicious details like a rum glaze and the same caramelized pecans as the Berry Bleu salad. One more thing to add: Every server and manager we've ever encountered has been super friendly. One of the servers remembers my order. I'm in a wheelchair and they're super helpful.

For someone who really loves BBQ this is a place you have to stop by. The ribs are so so good and the brisket is perfect. With many BBQ spots they have great meats but sometimes lack in sides... once you try this corn bread and slaw... it will keep you coming back. Great spot. 10/10.

While we waited for our sandwiches, we took some time to look around the market. It is fantastic! The decor is lovely. The items they have in stock is also impressive. They have your basic items like chips and soda, but also a large international snack section. There are shelves of foreign chip flavors and drinks which is very neat. They also have a super wide variety of domestic products that you can't typically find everywhere. I was thoroughly impressed with all they have to offer. The sandwich itself was the cherry on the cake. It was the biggest sandwich I have ever seen. I was shocked at how thick and heavy it was. It was incredibly affordable too! It tasted delicious and very fresh. I will definitely be a repeat customer whenever I am in the area.

Yelp told me about this bakery in the older Carmel Plaza here that's not in the main Ocean Ave. The plaza was sadly mostly empty but was still curious to see how this bakery is. The inside was also pretty sparse at the time of my visit and there were a decent amount of pastries still on display and first impression of their sandwich & other savory goods was a bit of a miss by the looks of it. Still I ordered a lime tart, tiramisu, and a guava raspberry tart with no coffee, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how good they all were! Not too overly sweet, and it didn't feel like any other generic tart/tiramisu so I would definitely be curious to try some more. Staff were also friendly and the overall price per pastry was slightly on the pricier side but then again, this is Carmel. Perhaps another plus if anything about this place is you definitely won't have to worry about tourist crowds or long lines! Would I come back here? Maybe I will give their savory food a try next time as well but truth be told regardless, I'll check them out again for more pastries as they did a good job. Worth the visit!

As pretty as it was though,it tasted even better,I had planned on only eating half of it as I had a tee time in less than an hour but one bite led to another and then it was gone. I've had many breakfast burritos in my day and as unexpected as this is to say, this may have been the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Also the aforementioned family-recipe hot sauce that came with the burrito was so spicy yet so tasty--perfect combo to a perfect burrito. In closing,if you ever find yourself in the Monterey area and you want to treat yourself to some upper echelon breakfast burritos-do yourself a favor and stop at 3 Mundos sandwich shop-a top tier food experience awaits.

At the time I stopped in, it was very quiet compared to previous trips, with no waiting to order and our pick of seats. I ordered a Ham Breakfast Burrito to try something different and it was fantastic. The tortilla had a nice char on it before being wrapped around the plentiful ham, potatoes, egg and cheese in its swaddling embrace. Each bite was fresh and flavorful, even beforr adding some of the house made salsa, which added an even bigger burst of flavor and some heat. I ate 1/2 on site, and rewrapped the other half and enjoyed that while at the golf course.
