Crossroads serves one of the most consistently fresh and perfect standard burgers I've ever had. I think they might actually have lots of other fancy menu options. This is my "go-to" spot for a local burger. Nothing fancy, just a $7.00 (8 with your choice of cheese) done-right, 1/3 pound, straight burger with straight toppings and 100% absolutely delicious. Located between Sonic and McD's on the highway, look for the green truck on the north side of the road. They serve during the lunch hours so if you are looking for a dinner burger, you're outta luck. Highly recommended! My husband and I both had the Carribean jerk fish sandwich with mango. The fish was moist and flavorful, the jerk seasoning robust but not overpowering, and the mango complemented it beautifully. The hand cut French Fries were delicious-and crisp! Best burgers in Chaffee county! Simple and perfect, just how they should be! He salts and peppers the fries and they're crispy thick cut deliciousness. Burgers come with choice of cheese and your standard burger toppings, lettuce, onion, tomato, ketchup and mustard. Hate to compare it to any other burger but I think it's as good as, if not, better than an In n' Out burger that I've had since moving from California. Sooo good, heading there now. read more
