Found this place on Yelp and decided to stop in for dinner. Quaint dining area/bar with a compact menu of shared plates, pizzas, and some specialties. Decent wine list. Jordan waited on us and his wine service skills were far better than most "wine" places. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. We'd definitely return. NOTE: Associated with Charlie's Trio Cafe next door.

We walked in the restaurant on a Friday night and were seated right away (party of 6). The inside restaurant is small but they have a back patio area that allows you to forget you are next to a parking lot. We ordered six wines, calamari, truffle fries, Mac and cheese, scicillian arracini and the pepperoni and pig pizzas! All of it was delicious and we actually ordered the truffle fries twice. The fries weren't the crispiest but they had were seasoned well and you tasted the truffle oil with the cheese. The pizza had a delicious crust and the toppings tasted fresh. The pig pizza was spicier than I anticipated but it was still enjoyable. The vibe of the place really feels good for having a drink of wine before your meal. The area is surrounded by brick walls and nice comfortable chairs. Our waiter (I forgot his name tbh) was also helpful when we asked for our wine preference. We will definitely return to this place. I would definitely recommend.

Such a nice surprise and felt like a hidden gem in SGV!! Just off Main Street but parking is relatively easy as there are lots nearby. We came for happy hour on a Friday night around 5:30pm and didn't have to wait. We sat at the back patio which had heaters and curtains to divide each section which was a nice addition and kept the warmth in. The couches were comfy and overall a great spot to hang out and eat with a larger group as well. For 2 people, we got the truffle pig pizza and pepperoni pizza, both $2 off for happy hour and a glass of $7 happy hour house white wine! The pizzas were sooo good and super flavorful. The size was great for happy hour too and the pizzas didn't feel small just because it was happy hour. The truffle pig had a nice truffle flavor that wasn't overpowering and the Italian sausage was great, just be careful the peppers are spicy!! Pepperoni was pretty standard but still delicious, can't go wrong! We loved this place and will definitely be coming back! The rest of their menu seemed good as well but the happy hour is so worth it.

Very cozy and laid back winery/foodie spot with dimmed lights and chill bar tenders. I was seated right away, they also have outdoor seating. My waiter was kind and approachable. I asked what type of red sweet wine they had and hooked me up with a glass. I ordered their pepperoni pizza with French fries. 5/5 pizza came out nice and hot, and it is shareable for sure. The French fries were done well and seasoned appropriately. They served the fries with ketchup and this aioli ranch dip which is bomb.com 5/5! I also wanted to try their old fashion and it did not disappoint. Not too bitter and more on the sweet side, smooth as the liquid sits on a nice ice cube. Free Parking lot next to the winery which makes it easier for you to visit. During the evening, this area is definitely walkable and appears like a safe neighborhood overall.

Three of us came by on a semi rainy evening so the back patio area was not being used. The seating inside is very comfy so my visiting guests enjoyed the atmosphere. We ordered beer just after happy hour ended, which is no big deal because it's a measly one dollar off the price. The beer was great and so was the delicious perfectly crisp pizza that came from next door's Charlie's Trio.

I came in with my partner for something quick to eat and we ordered a Margherita pizza. The portion size was good, but it wasn't my favorite Margherita. Service was okay -- we were offered water but never actually received it, and the pizza took about 25 minutes to come out. Overall, it was a calm experience, nothing too special, but the interior is nice and has a good atmosphere.

Happy hour for wine and pizza delicious house wines and even better pizzas. And good service as well. It always a full house in here with good vibes, but so far, been able to get seated. It's nice that it's one of the few HH spots that it's on Main Street.

First time renting this place for our company happy hour and we loved it! Service was fantastic, food & drinks were great, it's super affordable, loved the decor with indoor and outdoor seating & free parking right next door. We had 30 guests & could have easily fit 10-15 more people comfortably inside and another 10-15 people outside. The food came from the Italian restaurant next door Charlie's Trio. Everything we ordered was delicious, my favorite was the broasted chicken & pasta bud. The pizzas, sliders & bruschetta were also very good. The only thing I didn't love was the pesto pasta. They have many wines to choose from, as well as beers, cocktails and fountain drinks. This is a great place to host a party, we will definitely return!

Pleasantly surprised by this place! Came here recently to catch up with a friend and we enjoyed sharing a bottle of wine, pizza, and fries. It looked like there was only one server for the entire restaurant inside and their patio outside. Even though he was extremely busy, he always gave us his full attention when he came to check on us -- even when he was across the room and saw me pulling the wine out of its chiller, he rushed over to pour the wine for us. Loved the garlic parmesan fries -- i love a thick cut and enjoyed the dips that came along with it! The Roma Gorgonzola pizza is a must try if you're a fan of the cheese and rich, deep flavor profiles. It was really well balanced with the greens on top. There has only been one other restaurant that makes this pizza that I like and Vino's is coming in first! Can't wait to come back, especially during their happy hour which is also available on Sundays!

Our favorite semi hidden Sunday brunch spot. We live just blocks away and really enjoy walking over on a beautiful Sunday morning while everyone else is distracted by the Farmers Market. Not even mad that Vinos Back Alley hasn't been overpopulated with a Brunch crowd. We get great service, have had one on one conversations with staff that isn't rushed, and have learned a little bit more about wine and their wine club. Yes they have a wine club! I'm a sucker for steak and veggies, add eggs to that and I'm in heaven. My favorite item on the brunch menu is their steak and eggs. Comes with breakfast potatoes and a lovely side salad. Steak is always tender, flavorful, and extremely satisfying. My husband loves the Chorizo Breakfast Pizza so we usually share both dishes. There are tons of wine and cocktails options. This past Sunday we tried their Sorbet Cocktail. Prosecco poured over Fosselman's handmade sorbet. We ordered one of each flavor: lemon and strawberry. Super refreshing and light. Might be the winner for our summer cocktail favorite. Sit inside on their super comfy leather benches or enjoy a little sunshine in their outdoor patio. One day we'll come for dinner. But we can't get enough of the Brunch menu for now.

A favorite spot of mine for a nice local dinner and drinks. Intimate back patio setting, great for happy hour or date night. They're part of Charlie's Trio but have a separate smaller menu, but for the most part, you're able to request and order the menu from Charlie's if they're not very busy. We ordered the spaghetti bolognese sauce with meatballs and herb pork chops with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything tasted great, and the portions were nice and big. They have a good selection of wines, and we'll stocked bar. The servers are always very attentive and friendly, and the place is perfectly cozy.

i've been to vinos two times for their happy hour and have to say it's a solid place to have wine with light bites ~Food/ drinks~ "your daily red" bottle special: this included 3 red wine glasses as a flight option. i only liked 1 which was a pinot noir, and the other ones were too dry for my liking house red wine special: this was a wine glass happy hour deal for $7. not bad for the price espresso martini: not a HH deal. surprisingly really enjoyed the martini. it tasted more on the light side but still rich regardless half cheese & charcuterie: for happy hour price of $10.50 it's an amazing board. it includes 2 cheeses, 2 meats, nuts, pickles, sauces and chips. a great snack for your wine risotto croquette: i still think about the croquettes sometimes! it's similar to the cheesecake factory mac and cheese bites in terms of the crust and marinara. but this one is more rich and creamy ~Service: friendly service ~Cost: $$ affordable wine tasting ~Parking: structure and street parking available

Is there still bottle slash on Saturdays?

    Are they dog friendly?

Yes! Dogs are allowed on the patio.

Is there an age requirement to come here?

Nope. It's just a cozy restaurant. Probably unless you order alcohol.

Does this place has private room that could fit around 20-25 people? Or if I can reserve an area for a party?

There is also a patio & interior area that could be used. Would need to call & discuss.

It was here where I introduced bowling to my mom and we come back every year to bowl as a family. When we arrived, it was only a 10 min wait and staff were really nice to squeeze us in since it was pretty a packed house at 10 am! Things were nicely renovated and the AC was a comfortable cool to escape the heat. Snack bar was open but we didn't get anything. I do miss the foozeball table, air hockey, and the few arcade games that lined the hallway at the prior establishment. Despite the gutterballs, we all had a great time and thank you for keeping this place alive and going. We'll certainly be back again!

I'm not sure if it's being run by the same owner or if someone else took over, but the building looks much more modern now. It's a little bittersweet to see all the nostalgic pieces of my childhood gone, but it's hard to deny that it's for the best. Prices were still pretty affordable. The staff member let us know that there's a cheaper deal on weekdays, which is pretty normal for bowling alleys. There is clearly a lot more seating on the top floor. The addition of all the tables is really nice. I also noticed that they removed the extra TVs that used to either play ads or sports and stuff. They also got rid of all the pool tables that I never saw anyone use. The screens and control panels are all updated to this modern design too. Something else that was interesting was how the old bowling ball racks were moved to the side of the building to make room for bag hooks behind the people bowling. Although it's a good idea, it's kind of hard to watch your belongings when they're behind you like that, so it leaves your stuff kind of open for stealing. It's also easier to grab the bowling ball you need though because they're all in one place instead of spread across the whole building. The only thing that I kind of hate is the seating down by the alley. There's actually less seating down there with these standalone dining table sets replacing the old benches. Since our party arrived when there were many other people there, we only had one side of the lane while strangers were on the other side. It's just a little awkward to sit at a dining table with strangers like that. Not to mention, the seating arrangement left a lot of people standing and kind of made it hard to communicate with each other. In terms of bowling mechanics, I think the amount of time it takes for the bowling ball to return has been reduced significantly. I'm so glad we don't have to wait ages for the ball to return for the second throw! The machine also didn't seem to experience incorrect racking, which used to happen all the time here. Sadly, the screen does not tell you the mph your throw was at anymore. I always thought that was a very helpful feature, so it's a shame to see it go. Lastly, the floors seemed well cleaned and waxed. I didn't have to powder my shoes and felt like my bowling ball glided pretty smoothly down the alleyway. Overall, I think this bowling alley is nice. I'm glad to have an alley that's close to my house again!

I remember when it was the Diner on Main and, since then, the interior has been remodeled. The interior is comfortable, clean, and the lighting makes the place quite intimate. As for the food, I thought it was very well-seasoned without being too salty. These were the dishes we got: Chicken Salad ($28): A cold chicken salad with fried taro strips, pickled peppers, shredded carrots, cilantro, and sweet pickled onions. I thought this would be very bland, but it turned out to be my favorite dish because of how refreshing it is. The chicken is boiled like hainan chicken and seasoned with a light, tangy sauce. Everything went well together. 4.5/5 stars Orange Chicken ($18): This is a pretty typical orange chicken. I don't think it wow'd me, but I liked that it wasn't overly breaded. 4/5 stars Black Pepper Filet Mignon with Mushrooms ($25): I'm not a huge mushroom person, but I really liked the mushrooms here. It was a combo of oyster mushrooms and button mushrooms with cubed filet mignon. The beef was also really tender, almost melt-in-your-mouth. 4/5 stars Shrimp in XO sauce ($25): This dish was slightly spicier than I expected, but it was also pretty good. The size of the shrimp was huge and the vegetables were on point. It had snap peas, bell peppers, and mountain potato (aka Japanese mountain yam). 4/5 stars The service was very attentive and the owner of the restaurant was very kind. The owner helped us mix the chicken salad at the beginning of our meal and helped my mom cut her birthday cake at the end of the meal. 5/5 stars for service. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

After giving him the password, he opened the doors and we walked in. We were surprised in several ways. The place is way bigger than I would expect for a place named "The Speakeasy". And at 6:30pm on a Sunday, we were the only guests inside. Only one other couple came in during the 30 minutes we were there. I would assume they are a lot busier on Friday and Saturday night. It is dimly lit, and very red inside. The bar is large with many bottles of liquor on display and many seats. The rest of the space is one large area that must have at least 20 tables, and the ceiling is high. It gives off more of a nightclub vibe than a speakeasy vibe. I tried the Naked & Famous cocktail which has two of my favorite spirits (Vida mezcal, aperol, yellow Chartreuse, lime, $18). It was nicely balanced with a good mix of smoke and herbal flavor. She had the Pablo's Poison (Altos reposado tequila, strawberry, lime, jalapeno, elderflower, $17). The jalapeno flavor really stood out with strawberry and elderflower in the background. They have a good cocktail menu with almost twenty cocktails, as well as a food menu with ten items. Walk up to the bar to order your drinks.
