We have The Grand Cut burger. It's "THE CUT" Burger (60 day dry aged ribeye) that we don't have at the moment. We are hoping to bring it back when supply chain isn't so heavily affected by covid and labor struggles. Thank you.

They love the soda machine that has so many combinations of things to try. I've been trying to venture out and try different things, but my favorite sandwich is the grandstand turkey. They have really good salads as well. We've tried the Chinese chicken and the chimichurri steak. We've also enjoyed their milkshakes. They will rotate in specials every so often so they have different things to try out. The fries are also a hit but the onion rings are especially delicious as long as they aren't overcooked. That's the only thing that I will say that sometimes they have a little bit too much fry on them, but I still manage to finish them off! Their staff is very friendly and eager to please. They tend to have sports playing on their big screens and a steady flow of traffic around lunchtime. Every time I go, I say I'm gonna try the chili cheese hotdog so hopefully next time I can let you know how it is.

The chicken sandwich was juicy and the cut was thick. The fries are cross cut tempura battered, and the brick style includes the mom's special sauce, grilled onions, and cheese. If you look at the menu from years past, you'll see that the price has only changed by $1 in the past 5 or 6 years. It's very impressive that they can keep the prices low so the average joe isn't priced out of a humble burger joint. Much respect to the family that owns this place. This was conveniently located in the Tustin Marketplace and they were fortunately open until 11pm. Once we selected this restaurant, I downloaded their mobile app to see if they had a Rewards program, and was immediately granted a "Free French Fry" coupon. When I entered the restaurant, it was quite busy for 9pm on a Friday. I was immediately greeted by a very kind and helpful cashier (didn't catch her name but she had dark brown hair and glasses), who was very patient with me as I read the menu. She kindly notified me that I could use the free fry coupon on any of their availability options. I ordered the Magic Shroom burger, sweet potato fries, and a Oreo milkshake. The cashier then provided me with the number of the two top booth that she selected for us. At HopDoddy, the tables are assigned to the customer, even though it's a counter service restaurant. I actually preferred this method since it took the guess work out of me trying to find a suitable table :) Our food was brought out quickly with the fries being served first. They came with ketchup and an aioli sauce and I requested mustard on side. The fries were fresh and a generous portion. A great value considering they were free with the app coupon! The burger arrived, and I sadly have to admit that we were a bit disappointed. The flavor and temperature of the burger were good, but it was small compared the other restaurants serving $15 dollar burgers. The pesto sauce was the highlight of the dish. The Oreo milkshake is prepared with a custard base as compared to traditional ice cream. It was fine, but I wouldn't order it again. I prefer standard milkshakes as compared to a custard base. Overall, the staff members were friendly and our food was served quickly. The restaurant was clean and had the added benefit of being open late and being located in a central area of Tustin. That being said, the food was not memorable and I most likely wouldn't return on the basis of taste and satiety from the meal. I would return for a quick late night bite if I wanted to sit down in a restaurant instead of surrendering to the long drive thru line of a nearby, very popular fast food burger establishment (cough cough In-n-Out).

Alright, it's time to give The Cut in Irvine its well-deserved flowers! This place is a meat lover's paradise, and I'm here to tell you why. I hit up this gem a few times now and it's been a flavor-packed adventure each time I've been. First up, the Cut! Their Signature Grass Fed Beef Patty --a masterpiece made from chuck, short rib, beef rib, and ribeye, all ground fresh and served on a handmade, baked-daily potato bun sprinkled with black and white sesame seeds. This bad boy is cooked medium rare (don't even think about asking the owner or chef for ketchup--they'll probably ban you!), and it's a juicy, tender dream. Never mind that's it's a 60 day (yes, SIXTY DAY) Dry Aged Rib Eye Patty, but it's also topped with a 2-year-aged white cheddar that melts into every bite, it's rich, savory, and oh-so-satisfying. The bun? Soft yet sturdy, holding all that goodness together like a champ. Then there's the Savory --a burger that's clearly one of the stars that put The Cut on the map. It's loaded with bacon relish that adds a smoky, sweet crunch, Swiss cheese for that nutty melt, and a double whammy of aioli and 3000 Island sauce that bring creamy, tangy perfection. Every bite is a flavor explosion--unbelievable and worth every second of the hype! If that wasn't enough, I dove into the Double Smashburger--signature grass-fed chuck and rib blend patties, smashed to crispy-edged perfection, with American cheese, pickles, onions, and more of that addictive 3K sauce. This beast rivals any smashburger in LA or OC (and trust me, I've tried a ton), landing it right at the top of my list. The patties are juicy, the cheese oozes just right, and the toppings add that perfect zing. But wait--dessert stole the show! The Sticky Date Pudding with a scoop of vanilla toffee ice cream, butterscotch, and candied walnuts is heavenly. It's warm, gooey, and sweet with a nutty crunch, paired with creamy ice cream that melts into every bite. If you're with someone, order two--trust me, you'll fight over the last spoonful otherwise. I have been wanting to try The Cut for some time now. I heard about their famous burgers a while back when their food truck was gaining notoriety for their award winning hamburgers. Now that they have a brick and mortar location, it is much easier way to try their menu. Met up with some friends here. It is located in a shopping center in Irvine off of Alton that houses Rite Aid and Olive Garden. The place is on the smaller side with tables inside and outdoor patio dining, also. We grabbed a table and starting ordering. They have rotating beer on tap and a nice bar menu here to include beer, wine and cocktails. I opted for their Grape Soda cocktail. Man, this thing was deceptively boozy but good stuff if you enjoy grade soda, as it tasted just like that. It was made of Concord Grape, Soju, Lime & house-made Orange Liqueur. We ordered Cheesy Tots and Poutine to start. The tots were tasty but the Poutine, was my fave of our starters. With braised brisket, smoked mozzarella, cilantro and chimichurri atop fries these things were so awesome. They could a meal in itself as they are quite filling. When checking out the burgers and sandwiches, I did a little happy dance as I was thrilled to see they offered a side of roasted bone marrow with their entrees. I absolutely love bone marrow and it is so hard to find. For $4, I could get a side with one of their entrees here. YAY! Little things like this make Kelley happy! The burgers here are "made with all-natural, certified humane and free-range meats that are also hormone- and antibiotic-free." I opted for the Brie and Truffle Aioli Burger. This burger had truffle aioli, Brie, Pickled Onions and Honey. Of course, I ordered a side of bone marrow with this and put this on top of my burger, also. Yum! Several people attended to us. The staff here are friendly, helpful and attentive. Glad that The Cut has come to Irvine. Also, great that they have a full bar menu to accompany their food. I stumbled upon this restaurant while browsing through Yelp for a quick dinner and wow, it was amazing! The interior looks nice and welcoming to begin with, and our server was very friendly and attentive. Since it was our first time there, we got a quick tour of the menu from the server and after a while we ended up deciding what we wanted. We ordered the Savory burger and the Nashville Chicken Sandwich, along with some wings to split and wow, they were all delicious. The Savory was definitely savory to the max and it looked so appetizing from the way it looks. The Swiss cheese really hits the spot with the patty and the bacon. The meat was tender and the buns were nice, not hard nor soggy. The chicken sandwich was a little too spicy for my liking, but was still good nevertheless. There was a lot of kick to the sandwich and from the way it looks, it just looks so daring and hot. The chicken was nice and juicy, packed with spice on the crispy skin outside. The wings were super delicious as it is glazed with ranch and sriracha I believe. Not only that, but it came with 8 pieces which is super awesome for the value. To the owner, I am writing in response to your comments on my original review. I would like to formally request a refund for what was a highly unsatisfactory and, frankly, concerning experience at your establishment. Receiving a beverage contaminated with soap is not only unacceptable but potentially hazardous. When I brought this issue to the attention of the waitress, she displayed little interest and failed to offer an apology even after the beverage was returned. This lack of concern for basic food safety and customer service is troubling. Additionally, the food we ordered was subpar, with bland flavors and poor quality. Despite my attempts to communicate my dissatisfaction with the waitress, the issues were disregarded. We left over 85% of our meal uneaten, as it was simply inedible. I do not object to paying for quality food and good service, but being charged for a soapy beverage, combined with the lack of attention to customer concerns and lackluster food, is entirely unacceptable. I trust you will understand the gravity of this situation and process a refund for this deeply disappointing experience. read more

I was brand new to this place and learned about their history with their burger truck. I had no idea! Their food is phenomenal. This is a type of burger youve never had, their quality and flavors blew me away. We started with the Croquettes and the Cheesy Tots... Man I don't don't know what they do to this but that cheese sauce is out of this world. I had The Colombian burger and my brother the Grand Cut. You'd never imagine roasted bananas in a burger work, but, yes they do! The Grand Cut is seriously majestic with braised pork.. A sweet bacon jam and a cheese fondue. We also had their Corn Cookie Ice cream sandwich. Absolutely delicious. Their cocktails are amazing as well. We tried their Mojito, which is easily the best one I've ever had. Was fortunate enough to be invited to their pre-opening media event and OOOOH MAAAAN! As soon as I walked in I was blown away by how amazing this place looks!! Every single element of decor and design just looks so good. Because the nature of the event, I got to try so many different things! WOOOO HOOOO! It's sooo bomb, ALL of it. I tried so hard to single out at least one dish that I could say wasn't good, but honestly, I can't. If I had to lay out an ideal meal: Croquettes then any Burger that you want and finish off with their Corn Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich! Though any combination will really impress! I had an amazing 5-star experience at The Cut! The burgers were absolutely delicious and the food was just decadent. The patty was tender and packed with lots of flavor, and even though the prices are similar to Umami Burger, you actually get more burger here and same wow factor. I tried the original burger, savory burger, blue burger, and classy burger, but my favorite was the original. It's a straightforward burger without any extras, but it's done to perfection with all the typical burger toppings. Although the other burgers were also good, I prefer my burgers to be traditional. The service was excellent too! We sat at the bar and chatted with the owner for about 30 minutes, which made the overall experience even better. If you're looking for a premium burger joint that's worth the price, The Cut is definitely worth a visit. read more

POV: you just found your new burger spot. The Cut Handcrafted Burgers seriously blew me away. Everything from start to finish was a 10/10 experience. I tried the pineapple passion fruit mule and it was insanely good -- super refreshing, not too sweet, and honestly the perfect drink to pair with a burger. Then came the double smash burger... absolutely unreal. Perfectly cooked, juicy, crispy edges, and stacked just right so every bite had that perfect ratio of everything. No notes. And the fries with ranch? So simple but done perfectly. Crispy, hot, and the ranch actually tastes homemade, which made it even better. Overall, this place just gets it. My husband and I formed a food alliance & got the aged meat burger with fondue cheese (it was recommended) and added an egg- we also got the Nashville chicken. I only took a bite of the burger but it was everything you want in a gourmet burger. Juicy, medium burger, runny egg, cheese string hanging from your mouth to the burger. Mmmmmm! The employees were accurate and prompt, ensuring that the food matched the requested item plus any modifications. They also stopped by the table and checked in to make sure that everything was alright, which ensured that the dining experience was complete and not missing anything. Ok so I'm born and raised in Southern California. Yes, folk's I'm a native. What I don't understand is putting french fries on "anything" and referring to it as Californian. Avocado maybe but not fries. That being said I love the California burrito. I just order it sans fries..... Another poster said it correctly. This place is always around when you need it. The food never disappoints. When I'm not ordering the California burrito it's the fish taco's and ALWAYS the taquitos. BF goes with the enchiladas and chili relleno. Went the other day to give this place a try. Wanted to love it but just could not. My "bougie bird" crispy chicken sandwich was basic. The Parmesan and fennel was not a good combination. The marriage of flavors was contradictory and off putting. I opted for a side of fries (not a penny pincher, but $8 for a side of fries...ummm). So... I came to this place then went to Plan Check in LA. Comparing the two burgers, I prefer Bunz burger. The service is so friendly. Food takes a long time but only means your food is fresh and hot. The patty is so thick but maybe I'm comparing that to in n outs burgers? Their fries are crispy and has a light seasoning on it. Not the typical just salt but an actual seasoning. My husband gets the pastrami burger, and the pastrami is so light on the salt that it doesn't take away from the taste of the burger patty. read more

We came here to just grab a quick bite and ended up falling in love with the food! I got the Nashville Chicken (which was incredible) and my man got the Sweet and Spicy Burger - he said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had. Let me say that the wait was not long at all and we got our food fairly quickly. Do yourself and don't get the double because although it looks amazing, having double breast meat ruins the ratio of bread to meat/sauce. Flavor is good and fairly hot, but not worse than most people can handle. The brisket is super tasty, but I wish they seared the meat before braising. It needs that added flavor and texture, though it t is still good, overall. We all thought their service was great and we all enjoyed dining there. Will definitely be back! read more

Tried the Sweet and Spicy burger today and it was phenomenal! Like the name, it delivers the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and savory all at once. A little bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth trying for the experience! Also tried the Garlic and Rosemary fries and loved them. This was very unprofessional and I was going to approach him to let him know that he shouldn't act/speak this way at work but then he was gone in the back. I did speak with the cashier to share that I overheard the cook acting unprofessionally. The cashier apologized on the cooks behalf. I will return to this location as it was delicious but I hope that the cook gets the training he needs or refresh in courtesy in the workplace as he could seriously affect others dining here.
