I stopped by on another trip to Boulder City. The menu is funny and the decor was very appropriate. The doors have gun handles and there are old photos of old gangsters. The service was ok. Not attentive or friendly, but efficient. The food choices picked by my family were not all available and this was told to us on 2 different occasions (no milk to drink and the hot dog on the menu is not going to be carried anymore). The tuna melt was good. The sourdough bread was toasty and the tuna was fresh. The Dillinger hamburger was average. The hamburger meat was dry. The Asian slaw was great and the brisket was delcious. The Dillinger is an excellent American restaurant in the heart of Boulder City. Every dish I've had here was always delicious and the menu is pretty entertaining to read. Jokes were obviously made by a dad. I enjoy sharing their Frickin' Pickle and Philly Cheese Steak Fries. I prefer having the Steak on the side so that I can choose the ratio of fries and Philly cheese steak. The frickin' pickle dish is pretty much pickles stuffed in an eggroll. Wonderfully crunchy on the outside, savory pickle on the inside -yum! The first time I visited, I ordered a Chopped Salad, which can be a hit or miss at restaurants where they are known for their tasty burgers. The salad I had at The Dillinger was a total hit! The salami pieces gave the dish just the right amount of salt to the fresh chopped greens. Other than the food, I appreciate the cute drawings and art on the walls :) read more

I've been to this place many time, I am a BC local. It used to be great! I just had dinner here and I wish I had gone to McDonalds! The burger was terrible! The service was quite bad but in her defense they had 1 waitress on and it's a Friday night! They really need to step up their game and get back to the quality they used to serve! We stayed in Boulder City to kayak the Grand Canyon. This spot was recommended by our kayak guides and it was amazing. The.Best.Burgers. Little dive bar looking spot. Dark and cool inside (in fact , I was cold). The menu has a lot of options, but the burgers are what you are there for. Beer, wine, liquor are available.. as it is a bar. The burger options take up darn near an entire page of the menu. they range from traditional burgers, to more craft burgers with everything from brie, jam, peanut butter, the list goes on. I have been to the Dillinger a few times, and I have never been disappointed. The most recent time we went for lunch. Everything was delicious, and the service was great. Our drinks were topped off and we did not have to ask for anything. We ordered the artichoke, Steak salad, and the chicken sandwich with jalapeno bacon. The artichoke was amazing with the aioli sauce that comes with it. The steak salad was perfect, there was lot of meat with a balance of the vegetables. My favorite was the pepita seeds on the salad. The sandwich tasted great and all the flavors were balanced. We will be coming back soon. read more

What a great little place in Boulder City. Have come here twice and each time was a great experience. On my most recent visit was a friday night and it was busy upon arrival...which was around 7:30 PM. It is a small place-about 10 tables inside, counter with a few seats and a few more tables outside. Many good beers-domestic and craft. But the best part are the burgers! We got two burgers. One with fries, one with onion rings. The fries were fine-nothing special. The onion rings were delish! Beer battered goodness. We ordered The Dillinger Burger and The Executioner. Oh how I wish I was eating one right now! On our previous visit we ordered The Capone and The Baron. Dillinger-bacon and brisket and cheddar-holy freaking moly so rich and delicious. Executioner-grilled onions, jack cheese and thousand island dressing..on Sourdough! The bread just makes this burger exceptional. Capone-cheddar and jack cheese, grilled onions, bacon, special sauce and fried egg-heavenly messy!! Baron-jack, pastrami, blue cheese and tangy mustard cole slaw. So good I went home and made mustard cole slaw to put on my own burgers!! Service is friendly and attentive. Fantastic Atmosphere with the best burgers in BC! Usually have quite a few craft beers on tap and live music on the weekends. Dog friendly outside with leash hooks and water bowls. They have outside and inside dining. Once you enter the doors you find that the space is smaller then expected but not to the point of crushing. The staff was friendly, although the server had no name tag nor welcomed my girlfriend and I with her name. I had the signature burger " The Dillinger" which had a really large patty topped with Applewood bacon, cheese, and BBQ brisket. The brisket was overpowering with the saturation level of BBQ sauce on it. The onion rings I had with it were cooked to perfection and tasted excellent. My girlfriend had the "Bonnie melt". It was excellent and I was wishing to have that one. Overall I would say I would definitely return to give them a second try. read more

Cool little bar vibe with gangster decor, double barrel shotguns were the front door pulls/hardware. Mix of locals and tourists. Every table and bar stool was filled on a cold Sat night. The Dillinger burger was tasty and consisted of a beef patty, cheese, bacon, and BBQ brisket with BBQ sauce. Very good! Full bar with about 5 beers in tap. FOOD: -chicken trip sandwich: this sandwich was super delicious and had a generous portion of chicken. the chicken strips were nicely fried, and the veggies were fresh (considering we're in the middle of a desert!). -sweet potato fries: fries had a nice crunch. the topping of brown sugar sealed the deal for me. SERVICE: we came after a triathlon, so it seemed that the place was pretty busy. after about a 20 minute wait, the host said that we could either squeeze at a 4 person table (we had a party of 6) or wait for the next available 6 person table. we were already starving and of course opted to squeeze. it took about 10 minutes for someone to bring our menus and then another 10 minutes to take our drink order. another 5 minutes to take our food order. it was either they were severely understaffed or were simply not used to the rush. in the end, the food made up for the subpar service! read more

Made the trek out to Boulder City and stopped by the Dillinger for drinks and dinner and I got to say you Boulder City residents are lucky this is in your neighborhood! Came here on a Friday night with a friend and it was packed. We luckily were able to find seating immediately at the bar. The inside of the Dillinger from what I remember is actually pretty small; they do have a small patio area as well. Our bartender who served us was extremely friendly and attentive. She brought us out waters and took our drink orders right away. They had an excellent beer selection and plenty of craft beers on tap too. We Ordered: -The Dillinger Burger ($11) - burger with bacon AND brisket on it, my arteries already started clogging when I saw this on their menu, but it was delicious, the brisket on top was very tender and moist, the bacon was nice and crispy, the fries served with the burger were tasty too -The Executioner ($9) - burger served with sour dough bread, grilled onions, and a thousand island dressing, my friend ordered this and I had a bite, it was good, but I don't really like thousand island and I thought it made the bread a little soggy If I ever find myself in the Boulder City area I will definitely be coming back here! read more

Great concept; great local vibe and decor.... BBQ brisket on the Dillinger was tasty and more flavor than the burger itself. Fries are coated frozen variety and not much flavor there... and the Calamari, another frozen item but surprised to see on the menu. Fried a tad bit too much for me, but not burnt. Put it this way, the fry guy likes to keep it in the oil as long as possible. Lastly the Cuban... I'm not sure, but who puts Mayo on a Cuban... thought it was Mustard only... but alas the Dillinger does and had them make a new one as my wife does not like Mayo and it was not listed in the menu. The burgers were delicious and cooked perfectly (one medium and one medium well), as were the fries and sweet potato fries. The spinach salad is delicious: fresh spinach, whole walnut halves, the pear vinaigrette was light and lovely. I had my dressing on the side, with no bleu cheese on the salad. The service was fast and kind, and dealt well with the requests of my very picky eater, who was too grouchy to even order food before the rest of our meals arrived. We stop here after the Hoover Dam tour. it was the highlight of our day! the service was great and helpful making recommendations for first time diner. The menu was extensive and everything looked good so it was great having some guidance. We started with the fried pickles which were amazing. We got The Dillinger and The Capone and these burgers are no joke! Come with an appetite. Both were good, however, we both preferred The Capone over The Dillinger (even though The Capone is quite a messy burger). Decor is cool being that the restaurant is located in an old bank. Staff wore masks and tables were spaced out, however, if you really wanted to maintain your distance the people in your party would have to sit on the same side as you. You do have to be cognizant about the distancing as it is possible to sit less than 6ft apart from neighboring tables. read more

We are from San Diego and went to the mines. We stumbled upon Dillingers. This small place was amazing. We were approached by a wonderful busser (We thought was our waitress) Sophie and she explained a few questions we had. Our server was Stephanie, awesome lady, she recommend the Dillenger wings, we had that along with the Ruben. Service was fast and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place if your close.
