    The Lumberjack

My son and I stopped in for a meal a few weeks ago. He likes breakfast food and i prefer lunch. Well, he ordered the lumberjack meal which was huge and very tasty. I got the chicken Caesar salad and it was amazing. Since then he and I have been back for the same meals. I came back by myself because I was craving the chicken Caesar so much I couldn't resist. The chicken is so good. It's natural, and the way it's cooked is just so crave able and delicious. It's also huge for under $16. Imo it's the best I've had In Boynton. The service is also fantastic. No matter how busy they are it's always handled calm, friendly and professionally. Highly recommend!!

Cute little unassuming place. Nice but certainly not fancy. They have standard diner food, which honestly is pretty awesome because that is getting hard to find. I ordered a gyro in a pita. It was absolutely huge. A ton of meat. It was a bit dry but still very tasty. There was a good amount of tzatziki in it but the waitress happily brought more for me when asked. The pita bread tasted nice and fresh. The fries it came with were really, really good. Perfectly crispy, right amount of salt, and my goodness they gave me a ton! I sort of want to say it wasn't cheap, but everything is so expensive these days. Compared to other places, it's a good value. I will definitely come back here.

Came here recently with my fiance for breakfast and it was so good! The place is small but cute. There could be a wait sometimes but it's definitely worth it. I got the biscuits and gravy with eggs and my fiancé got the lumberjack which was 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 2 sausage, home fries and then a side of pancakes! It was a lot of food but everything was delicious. We will definitely be back! Make sure you come hungry!

Best Breakfast place in Boynton Beach. Keep in mind the restaurant is a bit small so there can sometimes be a wait, but it is totally worth it. The service is fast and the food comes out quick. The staff are all attentive, which is great. They pride themselves in being a diner, hence the name, but what that means is you get huge portions for an amazing price. You can easily split most of the breakfast plates between two people and be out the door for under $25 with tip. We of course got seperate plates to try as many things as possible and everything was amazing. I want to try the 5 egg omelet next time but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The Diner is one of my favorite spots. The portions are huge, the food is great, and my coffee cup never stays empty. My go to breakfast order is the avacado eggs Benedict and it comes with home fries or sometimes I ask for a side of fresh fruit instead. I've gotten the Greek omelette here before as well and it's great! I'f I go for lunch, I like the soup and sandwich combo with the turkey club and chicken noodle. The service is always great.

We stopped in at the Diner for a quick breakfast and although there was a line we were quickly seated within 10 minutes. Inside has the look of a classic Diner and the service was very fast! I had a delicious Tuna Melt that was loaded with Tuna. It was a big portion so I took the other half home! My husband had the breakfast sandwich that was perfect with the salt, pepper, ketchup! Definitely a go to if you want a real tasting Diner food!

Very friendly staff with an old fashioned feel to it. The diner has an extensive menu with delicious food and huge portions.

This place has been here a very long time. It's a diner where everyone can get whatever they want! I ended up getting a Greek salad which was huge (that I had to take 1/2 home). Everyone else got tuna, bacon/turkey sandwich and more. The waitress didn't pay attention to us that much which was annoying (I had to ask for lemon 3xs) and we had to wave her down! It is immediately off of Gateway on 95 so it is easy access north/south.

The Rundown: a local, no frills diner that serves up impressive portion sizes at reasonable prices with "in-store" creations (including peeling own potatoes). The Review: When visiting town early, I was brought here by a local for breakfast. First impression, being in a strip plaza the interior had surprising heart and definitely gave off the independent diner vibe. Staff was friendly and after seating ourselves was prompt and attentive. The menu offers a good variety of options and after being told the omelets are impressive I had to give them a go. I went ahead with a western and the five eggs definitely evident from the size, paired with a very hefty portion of in-store prepared country potatoes. Overall it was filling, but it did miss a little something that would have elevated the taste - the potatoes felt like just eating plain cooked potatoes and with the reminders around the restaurant about how they prepare their potatoes it just had me expecting a bit more from a flavor profile. Overall, it's definitely worth the visit and you certainly will not leave hungry. Supporting a local business is an added plus!

Ive heard so many great things about the Boynton Dinner that me and my husband finally decided to have breakfast there this past weekend. The food is delicious and plentiful with decent affordable pricing. The only downside was our waitress Chrissy. You never know what could be happening in someone's personal life but her demeanor and attitude with us was very unpleasant (short tempered and unwelcoming). At one point I asked a question about a dish and she grabbed the bridge of her nose in frustration and then rolled her eyes as she answered. We will definitely visit this location again but hope we get a different server or catch Chrissy on a better day.

My husband and I just had breakfast for the first time here, and we had a great experience. Diane was our waitress, and she was fantastic! She was super friendly, very attentive, anticipated our every need, and she was quick on her feet with the spirit of the Energizer Bunny. The omelets were cooked to perfection... not dry, not runny, and a generous amount of ingredients. I got the 5-egg Greek omelet, and the spinach, tomatoes and feta were in perfect balance. My husband ordered the 5-egg turkey club omelet, and it was made exactly as he requested. The home fries were fresh, and the toast was nice and thick. We ordered a single piece of French toast to try, and it was tasty too. While we were here, I learned the ingredients are all fresh, not frozen. The eggs are even cracked fresh in house, they're not from a carton. That's a whole lot of egg crackin'! I also really appreciate the fact that this diner is mindful about their ingredients. They don't use high fructose corn syrup in their salad dressings, their ketchup is actually organic (!), they don't use artificial colors or flavors in their pancakes, and their jellies don't contain high fructose corn syrup either. You'd expect a long wait for the quality of food we received, but it was incredibly quick even when they were super busy on a Sunday around noon. The prices were reasonable, and the restaurant was clean. My husband and I agree we'll most definitely be back...and we're going to request to sit in Diane's section again! Five stars all around!

The vegetables sandwich that I ordered had so much oil but fortunately the bread soaked up some of it, so I just discarded the bread. My wife's salad with fish was very good. Also, the fruit served with my sandwich? Just perfectly ripe and enjoyable. One of the things that cracked me up here, being a laid back Texas boy, was over hearing all the incessant, noisy, nasal New York Jewish ladies whining, commiserating and ruminating with each other at the other tables. That was entertaining. I had thought about asking about the homemade desserts but the staff was slammed I guess cause no one came around to check on how things were going and if we needed anything else. Just as well. The lobster appetizer was phenomenal. The chicken oysters, I personally don't see the hype there but the potato served with them is both the crispiest and the softest potato I've ever eaten. The short rib entree with mole sauce was as tender and flavorful as can be. The local jerk swordfish was cooked perfectly and everything on that plate together created wonderful bites. Cornbread dessert was my choice, I love cornbread and that hit the mark with the blueberry compote and ice cream. One nitpick, and this is absolutely a nitpick. The string lights that hang down the wall to the tables are filthy. So dirty they looked like twine rope. Now that didn't change my experience or make me question the cleanliness of the kitchen at all. That food was perfect. And I wouldn't lower my rating .1 because of it I would go back to driftwood more frequently if my schedule fit their hours better, this place is top notch. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.
