However, when I called to make a reservation, I was told, "We don't do brunch anymore." despite it still being advertised on their website. So I called back several days later and requested a high tea on a Monday several weeks in the future. I was told, "We don't do teas on Mondays or Tuesdays." This isn't listed on their website. When I called back the 4th time to try to make a reservation and use my gift certificate, Joel was quite rude, though he later apologized by email. I requested a reservation for 4 for a tea, on a Wednesday-- one reservation being Gluten Free. We arrived to a lovely Inn, quiet, beautifully decorated and with a 3 tiered stand of sandwiches, scones, cookies and tarts. The Gluten Free reservation was not available and had been forgotten. Though the food and teas were adequate, I felt the trouble to make a reservation that fit within changing, unadvertised parameters was not appropriate, professional or respectful to guests.

The staff were friendly and helpful, making the entire evening seamless from start to finish. The Denver Center continues to be such a gem for the arts community. Atmosphere & Performance This was The Notebook The Musical…read moreso it is different from the book and the movie. I would say the musical leans more toward a romantic comedy especially compared to the movie and you will definitely notice the differences. That said I still think The Notebook musical is great. I really enjoyed it and it absolutely still has those tearjerker moments. The cast was awesome and everyone sang so beautifully. The performances felt genuine and emotional and the atmosphere in the theater really helped pull everything together. Customer Service Customer service was amazing. Everyone was super friendly helpful and accommodating from the moment we arrived. As soon as I checked in they noticed I was a lottery ticket winner and congratulated me which was really sweet and unexpected. I did not need that but it was still a very thoughtful touch. Staff showed us where to go and once we got closer to our seating area another staff member walked us directly to our seats. Overall everyone was welcoming and made the experience feel smooth and stress free. Pricing & Parking I got my tickets through Lucky Seats. Which is a lottery-style system for discounted tickets. We won two tickets for a total of $78 and our seats were very close to the stage with a great view. Discounted tickets made the experience even better. Parking at DCPA was $17, and they only accept card payments. Parking was convenient, with several nearby options, and it did not feel overwhelming getting in or out. Food & Drinks For food and drinks I paid twenty two dollars total not including tip. I got one Sprite one bottled Sprite one bottle of Coca Cola and a pack of gummy bears. I understand it is for a great cause and supports DCPA but it is a bit pricey. If you need to sneak in your own snacks do what you gotta do. Overall Experience My overall experience was honestly perfect. The performance was amazing the seats were great and the entire night was so much fun. I would absolutely go back again and highly recommend checking out DCPA and one of their shows.

Great service, attentive, great menu!…read more Parking is limited, you may have to search around but it wasn't too hard to find something. This theater is connected to a tiny shopping center. Service was awesome! It was easy to order food, and had a server checking in with us respectfully during a movie. I think that's a hard thing to do, you've really got to know when to check in; kudos to them. Food is great portion wise! It would be great to separate alcohol & food menus. The alcohol dominates the menu, I don't drink so it was off putting to me. The theater is clean! The seats are worn out, my seat had the leather cracking. Not the biggest deal, but the small details matter; the more pressing issue is having a cup holder in between each seat. It makes sense when it's moving into the next section of paired seats, but it felt cramped & stiff unless I wasn't pulling up hard enough. All in all I'd recommend this spot! Dinner & a movie, big portions of food, and excellent customer service. It doesn't get any better unless it does!

I rarely order food or drinks at a movie, but when I have it's been decent here. The seats are older here and not super comfortable, but I'm willing to deal because they play arthouse movies I can't see anywhere else. Parking was rough- the parking lot is tiny and requires validation I think (there was a sign on the door), but if you drive around there is some street parking that has a 3 hour limit. I prefer the location closer to me (there are so many in Denver!) but don't mind stopping in if they are playing something I have to see.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Fun for special movie outings…read more We came to see Guillermo Del Toro's "Frankenstein" with our friends and it did not disappoint. We've been to the downtown LA one a couple of times and the drill was the same: You start by scanning the QR code and making the initial order, then during the movie you write down your order on the provided pad and pressing the service call button. You have 20 minutes after the movie ends to settle up your bill; after that they will close it out for you with 20% gratuity. We ordered: - Spicy ranch popcorn (spicy! It's a dry powder so I should've gotten some light butter on it to hold the powder to the popcorn--we kept accidentally inhaling it, doh) - Churro crunch popcorn (not too sweet, with slight salty notes that gave it a really nice touch) - Vegan cauliflower bites with celery and fries (the gochujang sauce was a little too sweet and the fries were limp--just meh) - I got a Pilsner, hubby got an IPA The food was just ok but the service and atmosphere were great. The seats weren't THE most comfortable recliners, as they didn't recline quite as much as the AMC chairs we were used to, but they were fine. One of the best things at these theaters is the 15-20 minute montage they show before the movie that's related to the feature--worth getting there early for. Some of the clips they included were really obscure and funny, like the one from the 1960s where Frankenstein goes to college and becomes a party animal, lol.

I agree with everyone here regarding the QR Code ordering! The preshow entertainment is one of the…read morebest things about this place, but you can't even enjoy it because you're on your phone trying to order food. They should at the very least have either an option to still order on paper, or an order a head option so that you can just order everything before you get there. AMC and Harkins even do that... You can say what time you wanna pick it up and then you can just pick it up on your way in. Since there's no human interaction anyway they might as well just let us do that. I also felt bad for the server because I didn't feel like he deserved what I would normally tip on the bill, but it's not his fault and I'm not sure how they're getting paid. It's not really fair to the workers either. So I tipped low on the app and then I felt bad so I gave him an extra money on my way out. The whole thing just really sucks.

First, let's talk seating. Buying a ticket apparently doesn't buy you... well... a seat with the people you came with. This place runs like Benihana. You may show up with your date, but don't be surprised if you're suddenly on a double date with two complete strangers because the staff decided four people belong at every four-top--regardless of the empty tables sitting around the room. If you're an extrovert, congratulations. If you're not... start practicing your small talk. Then there's the menu. The wings were decent enough, but the fries looked like the ones every fast-food restaurant rejected during quality control... and somehow they still cost eight bucks a basket. The drinks? Let's just say they were priced like the bartender personally distilled the bourbon. Twenty dollars for a top-shelf margarita and fifteen for an Old Fashioned with Bulleit Rye. Add in a $50 bottle of Crane Lake wine, and suddenly you're wondering if someone accidentally handed you the wine list from a five-star steakhouse. And don't forget the two-item minimum. Yes, you've already bought your ticket. No, that doesn't matter. You'll still need to order--or you'll be charged anyway. Consider it the cover charge's cover charge. Would I go back? For the comedians, absolutely. They were worth every laugh. But the venue could use a little less focus on squeezing every last dollar out of the audience and a little more focus on the overall experience. Right now, the performers are carrying the entire show... and they're doing some heavy lifting.
