Fortunately, I didn't have large bags with me. I didn't stay too long so I was able to quickly give up my table to the next guest who needed it. They are swift to clean up after someone leaves. I wasn't there for more than 30 minutes. As I was leaving, they were telling people to sign up for the waitlist because it was too crowded inside. Even though it's kind of a tight space, I've been in worse lounges with worse food and drink options, which is why I'm giving this lounge four stars. It was a decent place to sit and grab a little bit of food and drinks before my flight.

Nothing much has changed to this airport over the years besides the name. It's one of the airports I like using when I have to travel with my mom or if I need an alternate airport to switch to when flights are delayed. Other than that, it's not my top pick these days as it is further from us. Also traffic coming up 880 is no fun on a weekday in the afternoon/evening. I do appreciate they have a convenient park and wait area that's free and quick to get to the terminal if you do need to use it. But still top two airports for us in the Bay Area.

Free drinks included coffee, tea, and soda and there was a carafe of water and of lemonade and one of cranberry juice. Free alcoholic drinks consisted of red and white wine. The DOWN SIDE was that less than half of the power outlets worked and some of those that did work the plugs were so worn out that my power plug literally fell out of the outlet. Anyways 4 star experience down rated to 3 stars because of this.

The lounge is easy to find and check in was a breeze. The space is large - you walk into a seating area and to the right is the bar and food. There are multiple areas to sit and even a quiet area set back from the rest. We found a seat and I ordered a sparkling Rose. Each table has a bar code that you an scan and order your drinks, they have a large menu to select from but you can only order one drink at a time. The drink arrived promplty and after settling in, we went to check out the food. The menu is not extensive, they had a salad bar, chips and dip, bar snacks, a soup and some fried rice. Not extensive but that is a relief sometimes because too many choices can be overwhelming. The onion dip was fabulous as were the bar snacks. The soup was nice and warm and mixing in some of the rice made for a very filling meal. They also have flavored water and fruit, packed and ready to go. The wine are mostly from CA but they had a couple of French wines, I also tried a chardonnay that hit the spot! There was one woman who sat right in the center of the seating area and proceeded to gossip and complain about work and her co-workers as loudly as if she was in her living room. It was long conversation and even though she was loud enough to be heard outside, no one came by to tell her to take it somewhere else. I took one star off for that - the employees should ensure that it is a welcoming place for all travelers not just the self centered ones. The best part of the visit was the dessert, they had a fluffy layered cake, covered with mousse, jam and topped with whipped cream - so good! This lounge also seems less crowded than the The Club in another part of SJC. You can buys a day pass or you can visit this place with Priority Pass. Overall a great experience and I would go back again.

Simply show your Priority Pass at check-in and scan your boarding pass. It's always nice to hang out in a lounge prior to the flight rather than sitting at the gate with the masses. During my most recent visit, I stopped by on a Sunday morning around 10:30AM. They had a BYO salad station, chicken tortilla soup, and cookies. The food options are meh, but typical and on par for a US-based airport lounge. You can also order a variety of complimentary alcoholic beverages from the QR code (I included a picture with some of the offerings as of April 2026). There is a water refill station by the restrooms. The interior is clean and there is plenty of seating. The staff are friendly and attentive.

She asked me to scan my Priority Pass twice and boarding pass twice (standard, two different scanners). She asked: you just arrived? I said: yes. Then I was motioned to go in. Took the elevator up one floor to access the tables, rooms, showers, bathrooms, food, and bar. Today the hot bar served scrambled eggs with artichokes and spinach, sausage links, diced fruit, chia pudding, and cereal. The other food bar had a pot of oatmeal (with topping options), pot of mushroom congee (kimchi & green onions toppings), bread options (bagels, muffins, sliced bread) with spread options (cream cheeses, pesto, butter, etc). Beverage bar included coffee machine, teas, orange juice, and soda dispensers. The first plate of food was pretty good. I was hungry so happy to have hot food. The sausage was moist and flavorful. My second plate I got a bowl of congee which was unflavorful, but with the kimchi it was fine. I also popped in some sausage. I chose the sliced bread with different spreads. I don't drink regular milk so I had to forgo my latte. I made an espresso and added oat milk, but it was pretty terrible. But if you need caffeine it's something. I didn't have a hard time finding a seat. Other guests were kind and accomodating to each other. Bathroom was busy, and I had to wait a couple minutes. It was decently clean. Overall happy with my experience.

One thing I would recommend is arriving at the airport at least three hours early if you plan on visiting the lounge. The lounge can get busy, so plan ahead to give yourself enough time to enjoy it without feeling rushed.

Also after a long trip you just want to go STRAIGHT to your car. You don't have to call and wait for anyone and you can TIP YOURSELF LOL. Hop in the car and straight to the FREEWAY. the staff is friendly even though I only encountered them about three times while I've been parking here. This last time it read my license plate and straight in. Had a little trouble on the way out but the operator realized that it read my plate and they let me out. This is definitely 100 percent my go to spot to park when leaving out of OAKLAND. Park here. You'll thank yourself and my review lol.

Meets all our domestic needs. When we travel internationally, we typically fly in and out of SFO. We do not use the parking, or even the restaurants/bars here any more due to the time of the day we now fly. And because I have cut back significantly on coffee, I can not say I frequent the coffee shops here either. Service - Self service for the most part. TSA is a hit and miss, currently more of a hit than miss; thank you. Actually, this is still our favorite Bay Area airport. Price - Southwest is still affordable, but your competitors are becoming more and more also. We have flown your competitors more and more these last few years. Halfway through my visit, they brought out some gildas & spanakopita. They're also stocked with treats like Ghirardelli chocolates, cookies, and more along with snacks. They have a freestyle Coca Cola machine but when I was there they were out of any diet options. I opted for an unsweetened iced tea. The bar area is beautiful and signature cocktails, house wines, and beer are included. There is an up charge for "premium" spirits, wine and beer. Alaska Airlines Lounge -- SFO Terminal 1…read more Red-eye out of Honolulu. Three hours to kill before the next flight. Walking off a plane at that hour, you are not looking for much, just somewhere quiet to land. The Alaska Lounge was right across from our gate. First time in, and the staff made it feel like they were glad we showed up. Friendly, genuine, no airport-zombie energy. The space is impressive. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the tarmac and the hillside, plenty of natural light, and seating for every mood: work tables, soft chairs, window loungers, even a private booth if you need to take a call. I planted myself at a window seat and didn't move. The bar is well-stocked. What stood out was having an actual barista on-site. Oat milk latte and a bowl of steel cut oatmeal, exactly what I needed at that hour. One honest note: the food selection was thin and several items needed restocking when we came through. The staff were apologetic and moved quickly, which matters. But the variety just wasn't there. Solid lounge. Good people. Great space. The food program has room to grow into what the rest of the experience already delivers.

The eggs were good, but there was no cream cheese for the bagels. After toasting one and realizing there wasn't any cream cheese, I had to eat it dry. I'd suggest adding that to the spread--no pun intended. I tried the strawberry-infused water, and it wasn't very good, but the orange juice was pretty good. They also had a robot moving around, though I'm not sure what its purpose was. There were people collecting trash and plates, which helped keep everything clean. Overall, I think I would go back if I had the chance.

They also have that fun Coke freestyle machine! They had snack options, three salad options, chili, pasta, cream, puffs, cookies, cheese, and crackers, and a number of other options. Very good selection! The bar was off to the side and there were a ton of great beverage options for the adults as well! Really enjoyed our visit to this lounge at the beginning of the F gate.
