Free drinks included coffee, tea, and soda and there was a carafe of water and of lemonade and one of cranberry juice. Free alcoholic drinks consisted of red and white wine. The DOWN SIDE was that less than half of the power outlets worked and some of those that did work the plugs were so worn out that my power plug literally fell out of the outlet. Anyways 4 star experience down rated to 3 stars because of this.

The lounge is easy to find and check in was a breeze. The space is large - you walk into a seating area and to the right is the bar and food. There are multiple areas to sit and even a quiet area set back from the rest. We found a seat and I ordered a sparkling Rose. Each table has a bar code that you an scan and order your drinks, they have a large menu to select from but you can only order one drink at a time. The drink arrived promplty and after settling in, we went to check out the food. The menu is not extensive, they had a salad bar, chips and dip, bar snacks, a soup and some fried rice. Not extensive but that is a relief sometimes because too many choices can be overwhelming. The onion dip was fabulous as were the bar snacks. The soup was nice and warm and mixing in some of the rice made for a very filling meal. They also have flavored water and fruit, packed and ready to go. The wine are mostly from CA but they had a couple of French wines, I also tried a chardonnay that hit the spot! There was one woman who sat right in the center of the seating area and proceeded to gossip and complain about work and her co-workers as loudly as if she was in her living room. It was long conversation and even though she was loud enough to be heard outside, no one came by to tell her to take it somewhere else. I took one star off for that - the employees should ensure that it is a welcoming place for all travelers not just the self centered ones. The best part of the visit was the dessert, they had a fluffy layered cake, covered with mousse, jam and topped with whipped cream - so good! This lounge also seems less crowded than the The Club in another part of SJC. You can buys a day pass or you can visit this place with Priority Pass. Overall a great experience and I would go back again.

During my most recent visit, I stopped by on a Sunday morning around 10:30AM. They had a BYO salad station, chicken tortilla soup, and cookies. The food options are meh, but typical and on par for a US-based airport lounge. You can also order a variety of complimentary alcoholic beverages from the QR code (I included a picture with some of the offerings as of April 2026). There is a water refill station by the restrooms. The interior is clean and there is plenty of seating. The staff are friendly and attentive.

I was granted access without difficulty about three hours before my flight. Typical breakfast options were being served including assorted fruit, oatmeal, grits, & lots of breakfast pastries. The hot food consisted of egg white frittatas, biscuits & gravy, chicken apple sausage, mini pancakes, bacon & vegan sausage. Items were being replenished quickly and there were a number of employees clearing plates & assisting patrons. At 11am, the staff announced last call for breakfast, & they indicated that they would be setting up for lunch. The bar is fully stocked & the coffee machines are humming. I had a 2% latte that was pleasant. On the other side of the lounge is a fully stocked tea & drip coffee station. There is also a water / water bottle refill station that is not exactly intuitive. You have to hold down the little button at the base of the faucet. Anyhoo... The space itself is nothing special or spectacular, and it was quite busy the whole time I sat here. It was more pleasant than sitting at the gate though, that is for sure! The bathrooms are adequate. L'Occitane Verveine soap is stocked, but there is no lotion. (When I went back into the bathroom before I left the lounge, the lotion had been restocked.) Shower facilities are available upon request. Overall, this is an adequate lounge that dues the job, but it is not a showstopper or particularly memorable - nor does it really scream "Centurion", premium, luxury, or anything similar to that. There were 2 options of soup, pulled pork, black forbidden rice, and veggies. Flavor wise, everything was delicious. There's also a pancake machine available the whole day and desserts. There is a separate bar area offering some complimentary drinks and also the option for upgraded "premium" spirits. As well as a coffee bar area with a barista available to make lattes, cappuccinos and more. There is a lot of seating area, and it's spaced out so you're not crowded in one area. Great space for lounging!

Alaska Airlines Lounge -- SFO Terminal 1…read more Red-eye out of Honolulu. Three hours to kill before the next flight. Walking off a plane at that hour, you are not looking for much, just somewhere quiet to land. The Alaska Lounge was right across from our gate. First time in, and the staff made it feel like they were glad we showed up. Friendly, genuine, no airport-zombie energy. The space is impressive. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the tarmac and the hillside, plenty of natural light, and seating for every mood: work tables, soft chairs, window loungers, even a private booth if you need to take a call. I planted myself at a window seat and didn't move. The bar is well-stocked. What stood out was having an actual barista on-site. Oat milk latte and a bowl of steel cut oatmeal, exactly what I needed at that hour. One honest note: the food selection was thin and several items needed restocking when we came through. The staff were apologetic and moved quickly, which matters. But the variety just wasn't there. Solid lounge. Good people. Great space. The food program has room to grow into what the rest of the experience already delivers.
