This is near gate 26-30 at the Oakland airport. It's a cute little coffee/cafe. Couldn't tell how the food was because I only got Chai coffee and the chai was standard. There was nothing special about it. I was surprised at the size of the coffee though. She didn't ask me the size but it looked like a medium sized cup. Thats pretty good for the price I paid. I think it was $5.75. There are options for food though if you wanted food. Service was ok. Lady was nice enough. She was by herself but she was pretty quick.

What would you expect to get at the airport? Quick and easy food at a good price. Nailed it on all fronts! $17 for a monster meatball sandwich and the taste is divine. Has a little kick in the sauce so don't expect boring Subway here. Yummy. Nice gal at the counter and cool little seating area to eat. Highly recommend of you are in the high 20's gates for Southwest at OAK. Enjoy

Well I went here for breakfast and got the Southwest burrito. It had avocado, beans hash browns and tasted like an omelet. The burrito costs $14.5 dollars and charged an extra $4 for taxes and other stuff which is not surprising. I got the burrito really quick like in minutes so I was surprised it tasted good.

OMG. They are actually bringing great food to the airport. We have been to both Wood Tavern and Southie in the Claremont District of Oakland. Both of those locations are amazing. This one does not let you down. Had the breakfast sandwich, best breakfast sandwich I have ever had, very flavorful, me and my wife split it, and was perfect amount before a flight. Go it's amazing. You can order the lunch items for breakfast as well. I was considering the meatball sandwich, as that looked good as well. Value 4 of 5 you are getting amazing food for a fair price at the airport, seriously you can get a horrible cold breakfast burrito for $11 at a food stall in the airport, or get something made with quality ingredients that actually tastes good. Food 5 of 5 Amazing flavor and quality ingredients. Service 5 of 5 Order at the counter food came out quickly, they give you a buzzer to let you know when it's ready. Atmosphere 2 of 5 It's an airport so if you like airports maybe it's 5 of 5.

$20 "The Balls". Huge. Plenty for my wife and I to share.

The breakfast sandwich is delicious, big, and a good price compared to the other eateries I saw. I'll trek to this spot no matter my gate.

Super slow people. You wait on line while employees are busy doing their own thing. They don't care.

They are best enjoyed within a few hours after buying them. The bread will get soggy if you let it sit overnight. We ended up eating them right there on the sidewalk today. If you are just buying bánh cuốn, those ready to buy rice roll with cured meats plates, or egg rolls, you can skip the line. That's what the counter guy told me. The left line is just for ordering sandwiches. Note, that little parking lot gets full. There's plenty of parking on the other side of International Blvd. by the liquor store.

The bread is always fresh and it's a hefty portion ( I always split my sandwich into two). It's generally a quick to go order spot but you might have to wait just a little bit ( under 10 minutes). My go to order is always number 13. Meatball and egg is my favorite but I've had a bunch of their other options and they're all solid. Right as you enter the store there are also a variety of drinks and sweet treats you can pick up as well. Tips: It's a clean and no frills takeout sandwich spot located right off of International but there's also a small parking lot behind the gated fence that you can park in. They take credit card but there's a 3% fee.

It includes a Fried Chicken Thigh, Charred Lemon Pepper Sauce, House Pickles, Pear Slaw & Black Garlic Sauce on soft Brioche bun - very flavorful sandwich. I savored every bite! Hubby got a Black Garlic Fried Chicken Sandwich with Fried Chicken Thigh, Black Garlic Sauce, House Pickles & Pear Slaw on toasted brioche bun. He enjoyed it but it wasn't filling enough for him. So note, if you're 220 lbs or so, or if you have a bigger appetite, you might want to order a second sandwich or get the Fowl Fry Combo instead. Sandwiches run about $17 - totally worth it though. A great chicken sandwich awaits you at Fowl + Fare in Alameda!…read more I finally had a chance to try this place! Fowl + Fare operates from a small storefront right next to the Shanvi Indian Grocery store on Santa Clara Ave (near Broadway). This place is either takeout or eat outside on picnic tables. I took my food to-go. I had the Citric Hot Chicken Sandwich w/ Seasoned Fries. I liked the Citric Hot Chicken Sandwich. It was spicy, but not numbing hot. The slaw sort of smoothed out the spicy heat. It's made from thigh meat, so it's moist and easy to eat. I didn't like the seasoned fries. They cut the potatoes into thin fries that don't travel well as takeout. Probably okay if you ate them right there, fresh from the kitchen. If I go back, I'm just getting a sandwich.....no fries.

We come and my dad is trying to communicate what he wanted on his sandwich, and everyone is particular about everything so before you quick jump to "it's just a sandwich" we pay for good service and we tip good and i'm writing this in hopes this doesn't happen to anyone else in the board. My dad wanted everything on his sandwich as well as lite mustard and etc and the lady who makes the sandwiches wasn't listening and kept trying to say she got it and she's working on it. I've worked in food service for years and it is important to hear what a customer is asking for because after all, it's their food. We got home, no tomatoes, sandwich was missing stuff, my boyfriend's sandwich was missing stuff. It was disappointing. My father was very upset. I think they could be more friendly as well as being more adapting to certain people who are just communicating a specific need or want in their purchase. We will be calling later in hopes to remove or change this review. Thank you.
