For dessert, we ordered beignet bites. Everything was very good. The pork belly was really tasty. Red beans and was did not disappoint. The restaurant is a small location with a few tables. You order attached he counter, then get your drink. I consider this a hidden gem in town. Service was quick and friendly. We will be back.

We tried a new place today in Clanton, Alabama. This is real Cajun cooking. They started out with…read moreand still have a active food truck. The sit down location is fairly new. It's no frills just good eating. The included menu say they are open Tuesday thru Saturday. This could change. I would call them if you're planning on visiting on Sunday or Monday. They have a daily choice of meats and sides (which includes your drink) along with menu items. You walk up to the serving line to choose your meat and two or to place your order. They have fountain drinks along with sweet and unsweet tea. Due to the size of the building, there are limited seating with a few tables outside. The ribs had what tasted like cajun seasoning dry rub on them which was very good if you like dry rub. The red beans and rice was AWESOME and perfectly seasoned. The mac & cheese was oven baked and perfectly cooked. I will be back to try the other items.

This is the closest I have gotten to what it tastes like for crawfish and for other seafood selections from my hometown.

The food is pretty decent , a four and a half mostly but everything else has gone down in my opinion. The place was so very loud this time that we could barely hear friends sitting right across from you. Besides the noise, the service was pretty bad. Took drink orders right away but we had been there almost 30 minutes and had to beg to get orders taken. Then at the end, waitress disappeared. We finally had to pay up at the bar. Really 20 people should have had a dedicated waiter or at least one not so busy! Last thing was I thought the whole restaurant needs a deep cleaning, from floors, menus, rest rooms to tables. Just not pristine. And required 20% tip for groups was not earned! Highlight was shrimp and grits for $13.99 was delish and hubby enjoyed Shrimp Alfredo. Waiter charged hubby $4,99 for a beer when menu clearly had price at $3,99! Only a dollar but just not great service.
