My daughter and I decided to stop in here after we checked out of our vacation rental while we waited for time to head to the airport. It was early afternoon, not very busy and the place was super cute with it's outside patio area. We sat at the outside bar and were served promptly. There was a good selection of craft brews and other drinks. The atmosphere was definitely very chill and laid back for day drinking. The bartenders were friendly if you engaged them in conversation. The food was meh, though. I'd go back for daytime on the patio for sure.

Was looking for a place to watch the Buckeyes game and found this spot on the Alumni website. Great atmosphere, lots of bar tenders so even on a busy game night service is quick.

Great place for game day. They raffle off an hour with trump and stevewilldoit every weekend. I bought all the tickets and drained my sons bank account and emptied my 401k for this :) hope I win!

We came here for dinner for my bachelorette party and there were 6 of us. We had called ahead and made a reservation and I would suggest doing so especially if you have a larger party because it's quite a happening place. The restaurant had open windows with a view of the outside bar. There was a bar inside and a bar on the outside patio part. There were a lot of TV's around the restaurant, which was good since March Madness games were on. We all ordered beers or cocktails and were very pleased with all of them. I ordered the 'Z' 75 which had tequila, St. Germain liqueur, agave nectar, fresh lime juice, and champagne - you must get it! Some of my friends ordered a plethora of appetizers as their entree. They ordered fried pickles, sweet potato tots, spinach and artichoke dip, and a trio dips (guac, salsa, queso). They were pleased with all except the trio dips. I ordered the blackened shrimp tacos and they were so good - definitely recommends any of the street tacos! Our server was absolutely great! He was very friendly and was cracking jokes with us the entire evening. He also checked in on ya frequently to see how we were doing, drinks, how the food was, etc. The kitchen had messed up the wellness of our friends burger and when he saw that he apologized and immediately offered to comp it for her. He also comp'd my drink since I was he bachelorette and he bought us a round of shots to get the night started. I would definitely recommend coming here for dinner, sporting events, happy hour, or even a night out. This place is perfect for it all!

I cant say enough good things about the Bartenders here. They are friendly, attentive, fun and warm. I asked one a question about where my lyft driver was and he took my phone and took control of the situation, talked to my driver and literally walked a block and a half to where my lyft driver was. Who does that? Beyond impressive. He just said he wanted to make sure I safely got there. Also, ton of tvs, exceptional spot for game days, and as seen in my pic they make great drinks.

We stopped in for a quick way to start our evening on 6th with some apps and drinks. Happy hour had $5 apps which were more than generous in size and drinks were poured strong. Although this won't be your least expensive place on 6th for drinks stop in for happy hour for great food and awesome bartenders. The outdoor patio/bar area is great!!

Tied for my favorite Moscow mule in town!

This is my favorite bar on West 6th! They have the best Moscow Mule downtown, tied with Lucille bar on Rainey street. I love that this place has games like giant jenga and ring toss, and an indoor and outdoor section, and always awesome music!

There's this huge building that looks like an unassuming co-working space, but it turns out that there is a whole fun world behind it! They have a great setup: there's a little playground, a paddle board court, corn hole, etc to keep kids entertained and they had a huge screen set up to watch the game. And tents! Thank you for having tents and misters! The ambience is spot-on. Overall, we were happy with everything that we ordered to eat. The buffalo cauliflower bites were a bit too saucy, but nice and smoky. The CM Chopped Salad--which was NOT chopped--had a ton of good veggies and a fun dressing. Our daughter managed to finagle two orders of chicken fingers and those were slightly better than the normal junk that comes out. Cold beers on tap, Aperol Spritzes on a hot day--what is there to complain about? We were glad to be leaving when we did because the place was starting to get slammed and rowdy and not as appealing, so be mindful of the partying witching hour. But for a late afternoon World Cup meet-up with friends, this was a good time. Four stars.

For reasons that make no sense to any experienced summer festival-goer, the Q2 powers-that-be decided to make this a "no re-entry" event, meaning that attendees are basically locked in the stadium with very few options for relief from the heat. Thank heaven for PointsBet Sports Bar! PointsBet Austin is located inside of Q2 stadium on the north end near the Zebra Gate, up some stairs just to your right as you enter the gate. They have cold air-conditioning, at least one phone recharging station, a few table games, seating for at least 50 people, and standing room for a couple hundred others. Plus, there's a huge horseshoe bar serving plenty of canned and mixed beverages. The whole north wall is floor-to-ceiling windows, providing plenty of natural light. Lastly, there are 18 flatscreens around the walls showing various sporting events and during our concert, a couple were streaming a live view of the concert stage. As expected, prices were "high" (like everything else in Austin these days), but they were in line with pricing available at the other beverage stands outside in the stadium, so we didn't pay any more than we would have out there for the same drink. According to their website, PointsBet opens 3 hours before soccer matches on regular Q2 game days, and it's one of the few air-conditioned places where non-VIP attendees can get a break from the goings-on outside.

So we thought we would make a whole night of it. Tiffany did make reservations for us for 7pm and even though this is a bar hopping neighborhood, even at 7pm it was pretty busy. Streets were full of people. Anthem had a vibe. I felt the energy as soon as I waked in. The cozy booths with the U shaped seating with plush green velvet fabric. Wait staff wore Hawaiian shirts. Sitting up behind me on a ledge was the Easter Island statue. Insert (Night At The Museum) here, dumb dumb give me gum gum. Anthem was our first stop tonight. Just drinks and a dinner.
