Valley Paws carries a variety of pet related products from high quality foods, treats, and essential supplements, to pet clothing, shirts and hats for the humans, toys, and some home decor items as well. The prices for these specialty items along with their grooming services are extremely fair and in many cases even less expensive than the bigger corporate pet stores. If you're in the area, definitely come on by and support this welcoming and charming mom-and-pop establishment.

I was referred to them by a friend who uses their grooming services because our little fur guy is old, blind and gets easily overwhelmed by a bunch of dogs barking. He was treated like a King for the 1 1/2 hours he was there by a groomer that I immediately liked upon meeting her. She groomed our scared little guy in a private room and, when he was done, was handed off to the owner (Javier) who held him like a baby until we arrived for pick up. The grooming prices are very reasonable and the shop's atmosphere is warm and inviting. The owners both took time to speak with me and reassure me that our baby would be well taken care of. I will absolutely use their services again and encourage you to check them out. Particularly if you have a special needs dog - s/he will be so well cared for.

The next morning he had to be rushed to vet because it was all matted together. Now he had an ulcer in his eye. He had drops given to him. Don't know exactly if he will be able to see or what. The people at Petsmart said nothing to her at all. The woman Jess does not want to accept responsibility of this. I would never tell any one to take their dog there for anything.

I've gone in before, on several occasions, looking for fish, and despite many employees in the store hanging around 'yapping' with each other, have not been approached and asked if I needed anything. Honestly, the only reason I would buy a fish here versus the local fish stores is that sometimes certain ones go on sale for $1, and if I need a lot of them for a tank, the price is too good to pass up. Otherwise, the selection and knowledge at the local fish stores is MUCH better.

This is my preferred TSC location as they aren't maskholes. I walked in, no mask, and was greeted with a smile, at least I think it was a smile. I headed straight back to the feed area and started loading up the bags I needed. To my surprise, I ran in to a buddy of mine that helped me decide on some winter feed. I had been buying layer feed every week and he suggested I switch over to some scratch grain for the winter, since my hens won't be laying much during the cold. As I was looking around, I began to notice the mix of feed from fowl to livestock with no clear line of demarcation. That's the only problem with TSC. Things tend to blend in. I also like shopping the herbicide and really wish they had more options available, similar to what our local CO-OP has. Either way, I really love our TSC in Cleveland. If you're coming for cat products, you have some options, but not as much compared to the big chain stores. They even have a dog wash station! The self wash stations are available by appointment and also on a first come, first serve basis. The stations close at 6 pm Monday through Saturday and close at 4 pm on Sundays. Wash and dry time is limited to 30 minutes total per dog and costs about $15 per dog. Add on's (de-shed, for example) are available too. A rewards program is also offered in which you can obtain points and use them for a discount when a certain threshold in reached. Also, check their website for monthly promos, too! Lastly, we were also told they have two sister stores as well: Play Wash Pint (barks and brews) and Play Wash Stay (boarding and daycare). We look forward to checking out each one. Just love this place! Everything you need for your furry friends is here with exceptional staff, who are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We called to schedule weeks ago and asked for an estimated price, we were told $300 and decided to move forward because we really enjoy the vet overall and have had a good experience thus far. Once we got there (he had taken the medication necessary too) we asked again how much they thought it would cost and said $425ish. We were confused and said oh, we called previously and were quoted $300, they asked if we had a written statement and of course no, we just called. At this point, our dog was already at the vet and had medication to prepare for the surgery, so we felt like we had to move forward. Well, when we picked him up, we were charged $530 for the procedure. Once we asked why it raised, they knocked off $40 for a shot they didn't even give him. If we hadn't asked, we would've paid for something that he didn't even receive. Again, I'm not posting this to be ridiculous or rude, I genuinely have enjoyed our experience with Applebrook. But this instance left us super frustrated and disappointed. I'm only posting a review because we had told them multiple times we were initially quoted $300, and left paying over $500. Just do better about transparent pricing please! On the plus side, the vet techs are very kind and love our dog. Their puppy package has been great for his first year, and I generally would recommend them! I hope this review is more helpful than harmful to Applebrook and their transparency for pricing & educating their staff on handling conversations like this to provide clarity.

I have been bringing my Pomeranian to Groomingdales for over a year. She has to be groomed every…read morefive weeks, so I leave her in Groomingdales's care fairly often. They are always prompt, polite, and professional. I have never seen any of the staff speak to or handle a dog with anything but kindness. My Pomeranian always comes home looking great, smelling good, and in a cheerful attitude. She has never shown any signs of stress or fear after her visits. The staff always gives me an update on how she did, they have educated me to better care for her coat, and they have never done anything I didn't ask for. If they were unable or uncomfortable with doing something, the groomers always consulted with me on what I wanted and what they felt best, so we have never had any surprises when picking her up. You can rest easy while your pet is at Groomingdales, knowing they are being treated and cared for by loving and knowledgeable staff. If you're making your first appointment, you may have a wait, but it is worth it to get onto their schedule. I'd recommend calling a week or two in advance of when you think your pup needs to be groomed. We just schedule our next appointment when we are checking out and have never had a problem with appointments.
