I really want to give this place 5 stars. Walking in I felt like the space was very fresh and modern - great sports bar atmosphere. The patio was the big selling point for us, it was spacious and has a lot of nice fans to keep things cool in summer. Smoking allowed a plus. Waitress was super sweet. They have a lot of beers on tap which is awesome. The issues - parking lot completely full - not sure how that will work when the other businesses are open on the weekends, waitresses have to buss their own tables which makes service slow, they stopped taking food orders because the kitchen was backed up (over an hour wait for food), and both managers came by several times (much more than several - I'm trying to be kind) and never even spoke, not hi, how's it going, etc. We will definitely give it another chance but might wait a month or so to see if they work out the kinks. read more

I picked up crawfish, shrimp boil and wings yesterday. My son said the wings were amazing. I personally didn't try them. So my reviews is only on crawfish and shrimp. The Crawfish was dry couldn't get any juice out of the head or claws and no flavor at all. What saved my meal was their amazing spicy garlic butter. I ordered one with shrimp and an extra one for my crawfish. Once this was introduced to the crawfish it was great. I simply feel I shouldn't have to dip in extra sauce or butter to get flavor. I've had crawfish from many places and typically the flavor comes from the boil and it's in the shrimp and crawfish itself. So for that reason I believe 3 starts is fair. read more

Giving them one more shot after this experience... meatloaf came out lukewarm, gave us a smaller beer than asked, (when the waitress came back to ask if he wanted another one he mentioned it & she said "oh yeah, I forgot what size you asked for so I just gave you a smaller one") ‍ and the crawfish were tiny and some were cold. Granted, it was 55 degrees outside, but my meatloaf had 2 minutes of lukewarm to it then it just went cold and it got to the table about 20 minutes after we ordered it. It wasn't even that busy. I have to say, I was a bit skeptical when I saw this place in a strip mall on 1488, but once inside, it was spacious, modern, and the very definition of a true sports bar. Beer was plentiful and they have a full bar. I was there for the baseball game and every one of their 100 TVs (I'm exaggerating) had it on. The alcohol was good, the food was...OK. Don't get me wrong, the portions were large (Frito pie) and the food tasted fine...I mean, it better then most bar foods. Service was again, OK. One thing is that the AC blew non-stop and I swear it was like 50 degrees in there. I will be coming back again for game nights...and maybe Karaoke. read more

Unfortunately had a bad experience here last night. My husband and I have been here several times and had decided to make this our new "place" to go and just sit at the bar to have a beer and talk. We love the food, beer selection and atmosphere. The service was a bit slow, but we didn't mind because the people were friendly. Until last night. Understandably it was busy so of course it was going to take awhile for our food. But the server would stop by occasionally to check on us and then say "this isn't my station." My husband was there before me with a friend for crawfish. I met him and his friend left. When I came the server came and took our order. I ordered an entree and he ordered wings. After quite some time the server brought out my order only and hurriedly put it on the table. He never brought out the wings. My dinner was delicious, but my poor husband just sat there watching me eat. Our server never returned, so we finally flagged down another server and asked to speak with the manager. While waiting for the manager our server showed up finally and asked if we needed anything else while he cleared my plates (still no wings). My husband told him that he never brought him his wings so we did not need anything else. The server said "Oh, whatever!" The manager came to our table and we told him about the poor service. He said he would take care of us. Several minutes later the rude server showed up and literally threw our check at us!! He said something nasty to my husband and they exchanged a few words. Yes the manager only charged us for my dinner and our beer. He comped the crawfish my husband and his friend had earlier in the evening. But the manager never came back to our table. I have NEVER been spoken to or treated in this manner by a server at ANY restaurant. I am sad to say that this will no longer be our "place" to just sit at the bar and talk. read more

My wife and I and some friends went to the draft on January 11, 2020 it wasn't that busy the service was horrible the waiter was slow sarcastic acted like he was doing us a favor and when we asked questions he would be sarcastic not helpful whatsoever so on rating the waiter he was a -10 he should not be in the hospitality business because he's not Hospitable he's rude disrespectful and by far the worst waiter I have ever encountered in all my years he needs to find a new profession Now let's talk about the food it was cold I actually got sick 30 minutes after eating it I had the Philly cheesesteak it was horrific my wife's food was bland no flavor whatsoever our friends took half their's home because it was horrible and threw it in the trash eat there at your own risk and probably because it was cold it took forever to get the food So in closing it's a beautiful place inside it seems to be clean and it has a very good location it with everything else it's wrong I would never go there again and would suggest that no one goes there again it's horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible read more

We frequent this place when we are out riding motorcycles...usually once a week on average. Always a friendly staff. Bartenders, waitstaff and managers are great and make the place fun. The food is top notch and the crawfish we had recently was excellent. Dink specials are good and we love to play darts and pool when there. Highly recommend! read more

I love the Kingwood location so had to check it out as it is close to where I live. The Korean Ribs and Boudin Balls are to die for, wings are crispy and hot, amazing drinks. The food is always fresh and yummy! The staff is attentive and aims to please. This is my to go to place for catching a game any day!! read more

It's took over 20 minutes to get appetizers, drink refills were almost nonexistent. We could understand if it was busy, but it was relatively slow. Everyone said their food was good, except for the crawfish. It did not have any spice to it and very little flavor. read more

Buyer beware!! Do not get the "Half Price Shrimp" on Thursday! They are NOT worth the money! We paid $11.50 for 3 potatoes 2 pieces of corn and 12 shrimp. The price is nowhere to be found, and the $11.50 was half off. So the regular price is $23. Are you kidding me?? SO NOT WORTH IT! At least the Football game was on. read more

Great sports bar atmosphere. Big, clear TVs which is hard to find for those that appreciate clarity when watching sports. The menu is expansive and everything I had is very good in my two visits thus far. So why the two star rating you ask ? Decided to stop in and just sit at the bar for a drink or two on Saturday afternoon, 5/18/19. There were only 4 or 5 people sitting at the bar. Other than taking my drink order, the bartender(s) made absolutely no effort to engage me or the other people at the bar near me. As a new venue on 1488 with at least 4 other sports bar options nearby, I would think customer relations and building clientele would be at or near top of the list for the owner(s) to consider. I will in all likelihood be visiting again and I hope this is helpful and at least considered by management. read more

This is one of the best spots on 1488. Yeah it's new and every new place has kinks to work out but I can assure you they take feedback very seriously and work on them. The bartenders know their beer which is great since there's 50 taps!!! Everyone's friendly and informative. The food is great and when asked they informed me they make basically everything from scratch, dressings, meatloaf you name it. Trust me come check this spot out for a game or even a fun date night! Well the atmosphere is good. I had 10 buffalo wings the only problem i had is they were frozen and not fresh. They have a great selection of draft and can and bottle beer and full bar, but the sound system sucks on sports games and music. Just to let you know they do not have a music system for the customers to use. Touchtunes or AMI systems. Witch i think its hurting there business. I probably wont be back there, its not worth my time. There are better sports bars out there. read more

They're typically not very busy (been here 3 times before, no issues with half a dozen other people) so the management probably under staffs. However, the Astros, playoffs, game 5, potential shut out on the freaking Yankees, staff up amigo and wait on the people! We literally sat in the corner with three other tables with NO waiter/waitress; then they're shitty about it. Whatever, too many better choices around. Try Woodson's!! Went in today and waited for a while to get someone to even wait on us. None of the staff even acted like they wanted to be there. We finally ordered beers and watched them sit on the bar and get warm. I mean we were like two tables away from the bar. The waitress never came back and we finally just gave up and left. I'll start with the good: This bar is very well stocked and both the service and prices are very good. I've now visited 3 times and overall other than the food the experience and ambience has been very good. Cool bar to watch sports and enjoy the fantastic patio. Now the Bad. Food is very average and by no way stands out against local bar competition. I had the philli steak and patty melt and both lacked any kind of taste or seasoning. Food prices are fair but in my opinion they don't really offer much value again against other local establishments who's food is more elevated! This is also a cavernous place so any kind of Bass is really amplified when a certain genre of music is playing and to be honesty I would like to hear more sports anyway from a sports bar. Again it's new and I hope to improve my rating when/if food improves but until then I'll make this a great place to drink cold beer and watch sports. read more

So i stop going there after 5 pm because all the servers can't serve, are new, dont know the menu, can't ring up the correct tab. Or how bout this one. "we dont have anymore clean cups so i can only serve you one coke instead of the 2 you ordered" and walk away from your table. Or waiting so long that we have to walk up to the bar and get our own drinks. Or having to hear "i'm new so i can't answer that question. Getting an incorrect tab just so your server when asked to correct it walk away and continues to serve other tables and leave us waiting for 25 min until she figured it out. It makes it difficult to tip any server that can't provide good service so they get tipped less than the minimum amount. there are only a hand full of servers that are fully experienced and are tipped well. So daytime and before 5 pm is the only time i will go to this place. read more

Went for crawfish and cocktails. Started out with 2 lbs of crawfish to see if we'd like it. They came out cold but tasty. Bartender asked how it was and we told her. Next thing we know, 2 more lbs came to us HOT and yummy. They def. made up for it hence why 4 stars. No body is perfect but if your willing to correct the mistake, thats aces in our book. There is a cocktail on the menu called "I know Lance", very light and refreshing. This will be a wonderful beverage for summer. read more
