It's about time for another update since I'm at the Draft more often than I'd like to admit. Here's what's changed for me... I once raved about the French dip sandwich because of the crispy/crusty roll they used and the tender, juicy beef. Unfortunately, the rolls are now grocery store sandwich rolls and the beef was dry and extremely salty...I will not be ordering again. They have added two lunch specials which are great deals because they're served with a large house salad and a soda. When I'm at the draft for lunch I always order the wing lunch special and I have never been disappointed. We got here around 10pm. There were still quite a few people inside. We had a large party of 11. Seated ourselves at the table and booths along the wall. The place had lots of big screen tvs. Wasn't too mound inside. I ordered a drink - Cherry Limeade. Beware, you can't taste the alcohol but believe me it's in there. LOL The wings here are THE BEST and they are HUGE. Great crunch to them. If you want them crunchier. Get them extra crispy. Lots of sauces to choose from. Burgers are nice, juicy and flavorful. I am a frequent visitor here, love the place most of the time and my son loves the games, but I am severely lactose intolerant and this was the 2nd time they have served me pizza with dairy cheese and not the Daiya dairy-free cheese that I ordered (and was charged for on the receipt). This was also after finding a hair baked in to my pizza and sending it back to be re-made. Can't say I will be going as frequent in the future and would definitely be careful when ordering the dairy-free pizza. read more

I'm a regular at The Draft it's just the best. I love the food. Burgers and pizza are great with so much variety it never gets boring. Amazing wings with bold flavors I just can't get enough of, my favorites are the Thai chili and Chipotle pepper. The service is always great considering how much they have to manage. Kind and attentive and always seem to know when to ask if you need a refill. Being a sports bar the place is always filled with dedicated fans. Haven't been in for ages because the service was so bad. Yep,, hasn't changed and maybe has gotten worse. Practically had to jump up and down to get a beer after 7 minutes. Finally got a good order in and waited 42 minutes to get it. It was completely cold. Burger and fries were cold like out of the refrigerator. Only thing worse than soft soggy fries is cold soggy fries. Did the waitress/bartender know about this? No, because she never came by and asked. Did the incompetent manager know about it?? No, because even though he was 5 feet away from me,,, he never asked about my meal, or how I'm doing, or thanks for coming in...... nothing! The staff had sooo much time to gossip with each other, and bs with the regulars.... While paying customers are waiting to order or pay their bill. The guy next to me waited so long to get his bill that he said " I should just walk out of this stupid place". Yeah,, he should have. I was desperately craving wings and my husband mentioned The Draft and we went for the wings. We ended up ordering their chicken nachos (which usually come with jalapeños and olives but we took them off) 10 wings with their mild buffalo sauce on the side and a chicken caesar wrap with fries. The wings were definitely the star and they accommodated my request of having all drum sticks. They were cooked perfectly and were hot and crispy with plenty of meat on it. My husband loved his wrap and the fries were perfectly seasoned. The nachos were still good although we could've definitely done without them. The service was ok as our server left right after we got there and our other server didn't really check on us much and we had to asked someone else for refills. Over all if you need a place to watch a game, relax with friends and family and eat some wings this is the perfect place. read more

My son plays soccer at Miracosta College, which is about a mile away from this spot. We went in after a game and let me tell you the pizza was absolutely amazing. They don't take reservations, and when we called, they said they were super busy and couldn't accommodate a party of 15 but when we got there we were seated within 20 minutes. it's kinda loud in there, it's really loud in there, so if you're looking for conversation with people in your party, it's not gonna happen. I gave it a four star because when I called, they said no reservations and they were too busy. Which was not the case. And because it was super loud. read more

Not sure if he's the manager or an owner but he should be, because he makes everyone feel so at home and welcome. I have never experienced such a welcoming atmosphere at a sports bar before. This is my (second visit) eating inside the Draft Restaurant and Sport Bar. I placed my order with Cheyenne who is my server tonight for my dinner time meal. I ordered the one medium size. 12 inches Hand Tossed Supreme Pizza in the thin crispy plain crust. It has 8 Slices. These ingredients includes: Marinara Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, Bell Peppers, Sliced Mushrooms, and sliced black Olives on a golden brown crispy thin crust pizza. The price is $18.00. I also ordered the 6 pieces of the toasted Garlic Bread it comes with 2 Dipping Sauces. One small container of the Marinara Sauce and one small container of the Ranch Sauce. Both of these dipping sauces are the perfect compliment to the toasted Garlic Bread Appetizers. The price is $5.00. For my beverage, I ordered the regular size Strawberry Lemonade. The price is my $2.99. My total bill was $23.14 including the tax. I gave Cheyenne my server a $5.00 cash tip. I paid my total bill in CASH tonight to Cheyenne. I also asked for a pizza box. It has only taken Cheyenne about 15 minutes to bring out my Supreme Pizza and the 6 pieces of the Garlic Bread with 2 Separate containers. One Marinara Sauce and the other one is the Ranch Dipping Sauce. This Supreme Pizza was very delicious and the Toasted Garlic Bread was very flavorful The Minute Maid Strawberry Lemonade is very refreshing and delicious! I received (excellent customer service) from Cheyenne my server. Cheyenne stopped by my table 4 times and she asked me if I wanted a refill on my Strawberry Lemonade? I said No Thank you only because my glass was still more than half full. Cheyenne also asked me, is everything okay? I said yes and I am really happy enjoying my delicious Supreme Pizza. Everything I ate tonight was very flavorful. I was watching the Olympics on this large flat screen television that was located in front of this large table I was sitting at tonight at 5 p. m. The Draft Restaurant and Sports Bar when I walked into the front entrance to this restaurant. This woman who is the hostess in the front lobby who greeted me said it is my choice if I want to wear a mask or not. Wearing a mask isn't mandatory for their restaurant. This restaurant isn't strict with their Covid-19 Guidelines and are more relaxed. The only issue I saw tonight about the Draft Restaurant and Sport Bar, this restaurant was really crowded in the front dining area when I entered the front entrance tonight. Cheyenne my server asked me if I would like a booth seat? I said yes because it will be more comfortable for me than sitting on a hard wood chair. Then Cheynne escorted me over to a large table with a very comfortable padded chair that looks like a bar stool with a backrest. Cheyenne asked me if I would like something to drink? I told her does this restaurant serve hot coffee? Cheyenne said No their restaurant doesn't serve hot coffee to their customers. If I want hot coffee it will take someone in the back about 20 minutes to make it for me. I said never mind. Then Cheyenne said their restaurant serves the Craft Beer on tap now. Their restaurant also has a great selection of their most popular Craft Beers. I said I don't drink beer or wine at all. I only drink mixed drinks sometimes. I did tell Cheyenne that I would like to order a beverage. I asked Cheyenne if she could put Strawberry flavoring in the Minute maid Lemonade beverage? Cheyenne my server said yes and she would be happy to do this for me. I decided on ordering the (one size fits all), regular size Minute Maid Strawberry Lemonade beverage to go with my one order of the Hand Tossed, medium size, 12 inches of the Supreme Pizza in the thin crispy crust. The back area of the Draft Restaurant and the Sports Bar started to fill up really fast with families and men and women friends who were sitting separately at these tables that were spaced 6 feet apart from each other. This restaurant was extremely crowded tonight with a lot of customers for a Tuesday evening. I got there at 5 p. m. tonight and this whole restaurant was packed with people eating inside. I will eat here sometimes. This restaurant had their music turned up really LOUD! It was so Loud that I could hardly stand it. I am not use to being in a really loud environment with non-stop noise with their customers talking and the music was blaring really LOUD NON STOP the whole time I was eating inside the Draft Restaurant and Sports Bar. This is the only CON I experienced tonight. I mentioned this information to Cheyenne my server tonight. I told Cheyenne their music is turned up too LOUD for me. Cheyenne said she has worked for this restaurant for 4 years now and she is also attending college part time. Cheyenne told me their music is always turned up really loud and it had taken her about one year to get used to their really loud background noise. Cheyenne said she blocks out their loud music.
