They are located in Altadena so I'm always happy to support an Altadena independent businesses. Johnny's is on Woodbury next to the Ace hardware store and there is parking in the back. I enjoyed my visit with Johnny. He invited me to come into the shop and watch him sharpen my knife. while he worked he told me about other knives he had there and he appears to have a very nice set up many rotating belts and a strong determination to turn out a good result.. he sharpened the knife twice because at first it didn't meet his standards.
