I was referred to Dr. Nour from the general dentist office for evaluation. From the beginning when I called their office to when I left, this office was very kind, patient, understanding, helpful. The assistant (I can't spell her name sorry!) was friendly and efficient. What an amazing experience ( both visits)!!! I was referred to the Endo house by Dr. Gamarnik @ Advanced dental group ( amazing as well). Dr. Noureldin Shoreibah and his staff were amazing. From the moment I entered their office I felt the sense of calmness from the warm greeting to the soothing feeling as I set in such a beautiful office. I checked in with the office staff, and after the initial consultation I was provided a cost breakdown. What would be billed to the insurance and what would be my out-of-pocket expense everything was straightforward which you saw is what you paid there were no surprises. I had two root canals redone. I wish there were more stars to give this dentist. I originally went to Dr. Shoreibah for a consultation on a tooth that I was told should have a root canal. After exam he told me it was one of those situations that was 50/50 and he was honest about the pros and cons. I ultimately did nothing because he was not in network for my insurance but a year and a half later I decided to get it done and changed my insurance to Delta Dental PPO specifically so that I could afford to return to him for the procedure (His price is not more or less than others but dental work is expensive and I am very picky about who is doing potentially painful things to my teeth). I am so so happy I chose him and I can't adequately explain in this review what a good experience it was to have a procedure I feared. He is kind and respectful and explained everything as he progressed through the procedure. I have some amount of TMJ and he gave me the opportunity to rest my jaw whenever I needed. I felt nothing and that includes the shots he gave to numb me up. I was so scared to have the root canal and I felt no pain. I already mentioned I was appreciative of the discount I was not asking for one, but I still was unable to cover all of it at the time and I was shocked that your office wasn't willing to accommodate a payment plan with paying more then 50% up front but again I understand 4. I am a cash patient, so I called them the day before my appointment to see if it would be in budget since they had my records from my dental office but they were unable to give me a close enough quote, Sophia/Sophie said it would be anywhere from $800-2k. I let her know I only had $1100 to perform the procedure and if it would be more then that I didn't want to waste $167 for the visit just for them to deny me base off money. My dentist office spoke so highly of this dentist and how he really tries to work with everyone so I was very optimistic that I would be able to get the work done. I went in, sat down the dental hygienist took some X-rays, the dentist came in looked at the X-rays and then told me he would get started as soon as I spoke with the front office about the cost. Again I was under the impression from my dentist they work with cash patients, so I was very optimistic about the procedure happening that I was even numbed up! They quoted me $2200! Sophia/Sophie was able to bring it down to $1800 which I was grateful for. I told them to note my chart I couldn't go above $1100 but I think they were thinking I was playing hard ball? I don't know but I told them I could pay them the $1100 today and pay the rest in a week but they declined. I have never had a dentist not work with me before but I guess there is a first for everything. I would think almost paying majority of it upfront they would be willing to work with the rest in one week. Especially not having to deal with insurance which takes even longer to get paid. I literally paid $167 for 4 X-rays, numbing cream and 2 mins with the dentist. I am a middle class mom of 4, I am doing the best I can and this made me feel really poor, I cried in my car leaving this place. And to top it off I had to pay $3.75 in parking fees for being there under 30 mins! Now since I cannot get the treatment done I have to pull the tooth and now I am even more self conscious about my teeth. Just had my very first root canal and I was terrified. I first had a consultation with a different endo and didn't like his demeanor or lack of clarification on their fees. It's my front tooth so I was understandbly concerned and had many questions that he didn't really seem interested in answering. The doctor and the nurse is great. Very professional and friendly. But when it comes to billing. Things get shady. I was asked to pay an amount on my day of visit, their machine experienced some issues. They said they will call me to pay later. I talked to my insurance that day and was informed they did the claim already, so there is not really a way the amount will change. After a few days, I got a call from them to pay and was asked to pay almost $100 more. They said my insurance was not claimed that day, that day was an estimate. That is a total lie. Reputation is important for dentist, please kindly refund the extra charge. I would not recommend this place with this type of shady billings. Also, I was asked to do a root canal when I was not in any pain at all was also something I found weird. But, I will have my dentists in my family to help me with this. read more

This review is long overdue, Dr Nour took care of my father's root canal today. He is an extremely competent Endodontist. He has a world class equipment and digital technology. He used his CT scan to determine the infection. He was very meticulous about his diagnosis. A microscope was used to treat the infection with simultaneous video of the treatment being done. He has Gentle wave state of the art technology in his practice which leads ZERO PAIN ROOT CANALS. My father has no pain and is infection free. Thanks to The Endo house. I highly recommend Dr. Nour ! I told him I wish he was a general dentist because I loved being in his company and I have never felt so comfortable and happy getting dental work done let alone a root canal. I was in unbearable tooth pain and was scrambling to find someone on a Saturday that could help me and was also in network with my insurance and I found Dr.Nour. He came into the office on their day off just for me and I was in his office an hour and a half after getting off the phone with him. He let me know I did indeed need a root canal and that he can definitely get me out of pain. I told him that after speaking with my insurance his office would need to call my insurance before the procedure to get the services covered ( such a pain in the butt I know and I felt bad asking for the hassle) and he said no problem and called them himself and got everything taken care of for me then started his work on the root canal. He is outstanding, professional, respectful, trustworthy , and so great at what he does. He has so much empathy for his patients and truly cares for them. He only numbed me one time and never had to do it any additional times I felt no pain or discomfort at any point. His staff was very polite and kind and you could tell they all had a great mutual respect for each other which speaks volumes. Also, my jaw locked during the procedure (I have TMD) which has never happened to me before so I kind of panicked he calmed me down and talked me through it and gently massaged my jaw joint and I was able to unlock my jaw. I'm not even sure where to start... The week before Christmas has been a nightmare with the amount of pain I was experiencing with my tooth... I was advised by my general dentist that I needed to see a Endodontist because I needed a root canal on tooth #30. I started asking around and and received multiple referrals to Dr. Nour's office. I called on Wednesday and they were able to see me on Thursday at 5 PM. The front desk gal was so reassuring and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns. The minute I walked in the office I knew I was in the right place. The office is immaculate, modern, and the entire staff welcomed me with open arms. They made me feel so comfortable considering the amount of pain I was in, and worried I could potentially lose the tooth. It took about five minutes before taking me into the back room for a 3-D scan and a few x-rays. This place is a 10+! Dr. Nour come in and broke everything done for me and advised me a root canal had to be done. Within a few minutes, they broke down the finances with me, which was completely reasonable, and then we got started. With Dr. Nour's confidence, the high tech equipment and the comforting assistant, I felt at peace. Once I was numbed up and ready to go, the procedure, took about 45 minutes and not once did I feel a thing. Considering when I walked in the door, my pain was at a 9. It was a success! I've been putting off getting a root canal for awhile now. I went back to my dentist for a referral to a really great endodontist that could give me what I needed. Dr. Nour was exactly the one to go to! I was so nervous and had so much anxiety about going that I had to take a small dose of valium! When I arrived I was greeted so warmly, and told the assistant about my fears. She said to talk to Dr. Nour and she was certain I'd feel better about the procedure. She was right! I sat in the chair and took some x-rays and a minute or two later, he came in. He asked what my issues were and he listened patiently as I told him about my last traumatic root canal. He reassured me that it would be different this time. He told me exactly what he was going to do, even showed me a little video of the procedure called Gentle Wave. He gave me two shots of novacaine and after he started, I could feel it. He numbed the roof of my mouth and away we went!! I never felt a thing through the whole thing! About 45 minutes later he said the procedure is finished! And the fact that I could reuse the same crown that was on that tooth is a bonus! He temporarily cemented it in and I was done! If I ever need another root canal, I won't see anyone other than Dr. Nour! I'll let my friends know, too! Thanks Endo House! You're all awesome! I was referred by Smiles Cafe to Dr Nour because I had an infection under a double root canal (that was done years back at another location). Smiles said he was the best around. To say I was frightened is an understatement. I left a message for the office on Wednesday afternoon and the next morning had a call from the Doctor who said he could see me that afternoon. I went into the office, was seated in front of a large window with views of the leafing trees and fluttering butterflies, a calming scene while I waited for the CAT scan images I brought to be uploaded and viewed. In no time Dr Nour sat beside me and in a very comforting voice that kept me at ease, explained the situation and the options. We agreed on a procedure, and I informed him that my biggest fear was pain. No problem, there were several options, and I was well numbed. Dr. Nour explained the procedure, asked if I had any questions, ensured I was numb, I popped in my earbuds and the work was done sooner than expected, in fact I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to finish my 1 hour podcast! I met Dr. Nour who took 3-D X-rays, performed a cold test to check my teeth for pain sensitivity, and reviewed each step with me. After carefully looking for the cause of my inflammation and terrible pain he walked me to the California Oral Surgeons two floors above his office. He personally walked me there and asked to talk with a doctor and asked her if she would see me right then and there..yes, he hand delivered me straight through the line and to a specialist for further examination. She then took additional X-rays and asked a colleague as well. After going over the X-rays looking at what seemed to be heathy teeth and roots, they found the conundrum, which was a crack bellow the gum line going sideways. I was put on antibiotics due to the inflammation and visible blister at my gum line. I finished my antibiotics and then returned for follow up tests. At the next treatment, I received an action plan to perform the root canal. It was so painless, very clear, concise and clean work. It was a calm experience and no pain at all afterwards. Once he cleaned and filled the canal he showed me how the filling went down the canal and then sideways through the very small crack they found. It really took a lot of reviewing of the X-rays and careful examination for this procedure. I still am touched by the care and the walking me to another office to get me all the help I needed. So much careful effort was put into this and I felt very attended to. I give this review more than 5 stars. Dr. Nour is a gem. read more

I also sent over scans ahead of time and booked a 90 min slot for a root canal but spent 45 mins in a consult only to be told I had to come back for the service and to pay the $225. This was extremely frustrating. Definitely seems very factory like, like get patients in and out and collect $.
