We booked a snow party for our elementary school. It was a big event with probably close to 300 people showing up. Everything went smoothly. The contract, the planning, the delivery and the hay bale pick up. They worked with our budget and time schedule. The kids had a blast. This was one of the few events we were able to have during the pandemic years. The kids loved it. Nobody got hurt, which was amazing considering how many snowballs were thrown. J was incredibly attentive and responsive to my initial inquiry for 5 tons of snow for my daughters "Frozen 2" birthday party. I inquired with several snow companies in LA and his pricing was not only fair, but he added so much value with his response time and detailed answers to my concerns about the heat and backyard access. Booking was smooth. On the day of, they were punctual, courteous, professional and efficient. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The sledding area they created was exactly as I had imagined it. Awful experience! The only 1 star would be for the Santa that came. Catherine told us that we needed to hurry and get the contract in cause they were getting busy. So the day we got the contract we sent in the contract and paid. Which they cashed. I called to confirm everything and she reassured us that all was good. The night before the party she called me 3x. She said that the ice blocks had to be picked up because they were short but would arrive around 330ish and the snow would be ready by 4p when the party would start. Close to 4p no one showed up. I called Catherine and she said she would find out where they were. Called back with an eta of another 40mins!!!! Our contract clearly said 4-7p. We had 12 families with kids ready to go at 4p. The snow was ready at 5pm. And 5ton snow dump was NOT what they said. It was enough to cover 1 parking spot not the 3 they said it would. Nevertheless kids played but could not play very long since it got so dark by the time they arrived. The absolute worst customer service encountered was with Catherine. I said since it's your fault, we should be given a discount of some sort. For being an hour late. She said she I should be understanding that the guys had to get more blocks of ice for our party. Still not sure how this is our issue. It's YOUR business. I told her that the night before she only relayed that they would be a little late but would have the snow ready to go by 4p and not to worry. She kept saying that I should be the one to be understanding. I said 30mins late is one thing but over an HOUR?!?! When I mentioned a discount she said she could not do that. And threatened to cancel the party and TURN THE TRUCK AROUND!!!!! I told her it would be a breach of contract and theft since she they cashed our money. She was angry with me for unknown reason. Later apologized for her awful behavior. Never again will we use this company! Awful experience and horrible customer service!!!!!!!!!!!! It's true what another customer said how they hold you hostage by threatening to not show up when it's even their fault! read more

Hi Cathy & Jay, Just wanted to drop a huge "Thanks" for your services on yesterday. Santa~ Dave was the coolest Santa that I ever met. He was so full of spirit and calming when he could tell I may have had a few moments at the start of the event. He took his job as Santa to heart and delivered a superior performance! I hope to see him again next year. Horse & Sleigh~ The vendor for the horse and sleigh was awesome! Rainey the horse looked so nice all dolled up for the occasion. The community received a couple of hours of pure Christmas joy during a time where things have been so difficult. After all, it's not often that you get to see Santa ride by your house on horse and sleigh. You guys almost seem like family, after now having two events under our belts. I know that each of these events provided some challenges for us all...but through it all you guys always still provide superior customer service and show up in great fashion. Because I couldn't take my family on a snow vacation this year, I surprised the kids and brought snow to our house instead! I couldn't have been more impressed by the entertainment contractors! My five-year-old said that it was the best day of the year. My one and a half-year-old was so excited about being able to sled down the hill that was created for us out of hay bales and snow! I needed to plan an extra-special party for my wife's 50th birthday... a celebration that would have more fanfare and excitement than the average birthday. I decided to bring in the big guns so I brainstormed some ideas with J. and Cathie. They were both extremely helpful in selecting, stocking, delivering, and supervising some terrific Food Carts, as well as the Entertainment and Event Setup and Cleanup. The food was fresh and delicious! Both J. & Cathie, as well as their superb staff, were wonderful! They all provided an attention to detail and professional experience so that my wife and I did not have to worry about anything (for a change). We were finally able to enjoy one of our parties as much as our guests did. J. and Cathie took care of the whole process from beginning to end, and I would not hesitate to contact them again for any future events. I really hate leaving poor reviews - but I will do so here if it helps you avoid what I went through. First, as many people have stated - Catherine is great with communication prior to the event. She made the booking seamless and easy. She answered all my questions and was very fast. I could go into the whole huge story - but I am a parent at a school and we threw a Winter Wonderland Party for the kids and worked really hard to raise the $3000 it was going to cost to bring "snow" in for our 3 hour party on the school grounds. Well, long story short, after 2 1/2 hours of waiting, and many MANY lies view email & text and over the phone as to where the *%$# the drivers were, the snow finally arrived. So we paid $3000 for 30 minutes of snow time. The most infuriating part is the company refused to take responsibility in the lies I was told all night. If I was told the TRUTH from the get go, I would not have continued to let these families wait in line all night long. But since I was told for over two hours that the company was "20 minutes away" I allowed parents & children to wait and wait for no snow. Side note: I am the one who had to call THEM when they still had not shown up at party time. Unbelievable. I got a $600 refund. I am a business owner & would have taken a total loss if this is what my employee did to a customer. I am still bitter about the way this was resolved and after speaking by email to a few other people who complained on here - I guess I am lucky to have even gotten that. They quoted me $4000.00 I decided to shop it around and received another quote for 900 exact same thing however the hay bales needed were being ordered by the same company well Catherine and Mr. Swartz held the hay hostage and told me that I had to use them pay their outrages fee or my son would not get his party. Due to last minute bday plans, I scrambled to book a puppy party last minute. Luckily, I had a fantastic experience with this company who were very accommodating and communicative. I spoke to Sharen on the phone, who not only found me a puppy party subcontractor I could book within the week, but also suggested adding bunnies, which was a great choice. She was super friendly and helpful, and I appreciated how easy she made the process. On the day of the party, the subcontractor Julia and her daughter came right on time with a group of adorable pups and bunnies from rescues that all the kids and adults loved.
