Avoid this company at all costs! During my move, they broke my marble bar cart. I was told they had up to 14 days to resolve the issue, which I was fine with. However, after the 14 days passed, I had to follow up multiple times before finally being given two options: either replace the marble or accept a payout of only one-third of the item's value. I chose to have the marble replaced. Weeks later, when they came to deliver it, it wasn't marble at all--it was porcelain FLOOR TILE with a marble print and unfinished sides (see photo). Despite all of our communication being in writing via text--where they repeatedly confirmed "marble"--they then blatantly told me marble was too expensive and they won't do anything more. They had "fulfilled their legal obligation" by giving me floor tiles instead of marble. So in the end, it was a "gotcha" because I chose the option to replace and I got what I got even though it was wrong This was dishonest, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I would hate for this to happen to someone else! read more

I booked this "business to help with a move from Ventura to valencia. Zane was present for the first half, which went fine. Upon arrival in Valencia, Zane went to a different Job and sent a team of 3 different ways than those who unloaded us who seems like hourly labor, and had no idea what they were doing. . I communicated with Zane offering him the opportunity to correct the poor and unprofessional service his "professional team" of hourly laborers provided to me since yesterday, he sent a different team to "unload us" At our new address at a rate of $140 am hour. He spent the 3 hours I tried to reach out and ask him to correct the situation on another job, ignoring me, as his "team" proceeded to unload most of my items in our driveway instead of bringing them inside. I have several items damaged or missing parts. I called Zane yesterday afternoon. Zane stated he would send a team leader over to help oversee and never did. Instead. At 6:20 pm, after giving me attitude as I stood on my feet directing his "professionals" for 3 hours at 36 WEEKS PREGNANT , they stated they were off the clock in 10 minutes. This is how they left our driveway, photos below. Prior to booking, I had made it clear to Zane that I'm pregnant and cannot do any labor, we were promised "professional, trained service." We got the equivalent of hourly laborers. After the end of the day I again gave Zane the opportunity to remedy the situation. His guys left items wrapped in his moving blankets and their dollies, but instead of offering a remedy Zane offered to come back the next day to "finish what was left" at a rate of $90 an hour . I have attempted to explain to Zane that it's unethical and unprofessional to expect to charge an entire day of "professional moving services" after how the second half went. I offered to pay for 2/3 of the day- he is insisting on full payment and has stated he "no longer has time " to talk to me or respond to any more messages. Instead he is posting on here trying to salvage what is sure to be a failing business reputation after how he has handled our move. There's always two sides to every story. As a homeowner and professional I always compensate fairly for those who do good work as promised. I've moved with actual professional movers many times and this is by far the worst service I have ever received. Furthermore, as a very young man, he has been several inappropriate sexist comments about my pregnancy and being "hormonal" instead of trying to correct everything that went wrong. Zane had great communication and was extremely punctual. The quote I received from him was 2/3 of the price that I had gotten from anyone else. Extremely professional and very well organized. I had a 75" TV hung up flawlessly, BBQ and pool table assembled. I will recommend these guys to anyone that ever needs an extra hand. The guys (Danny and one other) were awesome. They uninstalled a Tonal in Huntington Beach, drove it to my house in Los Feliz and remounted it (very securely) in my garage. I hired the extra hand Handyman service and was really satisfied with their services. I had them assemble a adjustable bed for me. But what was really great was they met me at a FedEx office where my package that weighed at least 120LBS was accidently delivered to the FedEx office instead of my home. And they went out of their way to help me get it to my house. I would definitely hire them again! read more

If you are looking for guys who will promise one thing, do the opposite and then stop answering your phone, texts and emails, John and Zane are your guys. Hire them at your own risk. I contracted with them to pick up a shipment of household goods out of state by a mutually agreed upon date. When they ran into weather on the way, I negotiated with the owner of the goods (who was selling the house they were in) to get them 4 extra days to pick up the shipment, more than enough time for the weather delay they claimed. At some point during these extra days they simply decided, without advising me, they weren't going to perform the job and stopped answering my phone texts and emails. I now stand to lose $1,000s of dollars of merchandise as the house been sold and I know longer have credibility with the buyers to negotiate more time. I needed someone to install an Over the range microwave. Zane responded to my request almost immediately and quoted a price that was 2/3 of any other offer I received. The Extra Hand was able to come out the next day and install the microwave flawlessly. Zane was communicative throughout the day so I knew exactly what time they would arrive, even when the job before mine ran a little late.
