My husband and I had a somewhat complicated move, wherein we moved part of the contents of our 3-bedroom Long Beach home to a Koreatown apartment, and the remainder to a home in Rancho Mirage. First, Jesse advised me that our original plan of doing the Rancho Mirage leg first, followed by Koreatown, would cost us considerably more (close to 50%) than doing Ktown first -- what company tries to save you so much money? Then, our team of movers (Jose, Alfredo, Fernando) arrived at 7am sharp (on Sunday morning, no less) and got right to work. My biggest concern was my French Provincial-style spinet piano (those delicate front legs!), which was a gift from my late mother. In the past, I'd only had it moved by specialty piano movers, but that wasn't practical this time. The guys treated it with as much tender loving care as if it had been their own. We've never seen such hustle -- they didn't rest for a minute, and they had the entire load, with Rancho Mirage items at the back of the truck and Ktown at the front, done in less than 2 1/2 hours, and we were on our way. The apartment building has small, slow elevators, but they had everything unloaded and placed in the rooms indicated on the labels by 11:40 (INCLUDING drive time from Long Beach to Ktown). We insisted on stopping before the long drive to Rancho Mirage, and we bought lunch at El Pollo Loco; they even ate fast, and we were on the road in 30 minutes. The Rancho Mirage delivery, including my precious piano, was unloaded and placed by 3:15. 8.25 hours - unbelievable! The entire project, including materials (lots of shrink wrap) and $100 tip, was just over $1300. At every turn, the guys went above and beyond (for example, they helped me place the bedskirt over the box springs before they placed the mattress), and were unfailingly polite and respectful. We've unpacked most everything at this point, and have not found a single broken item, nor was any furniture scratched or walls dinged. I can't recommend -- or thank -- Jose, Alfredo, and Fernando enough for a job EXTREMELY well done. read more

TOP NOTCH! Requested a quote via Yelp and got a same-day reply and follow up phone call. Booked a date online and got a call confirming the reservation. The night before, they confirmed again with a 2-hour arrival window. The team texted me when they were about an hour away from arriving. Jose, the foreman, walked me through the paperwork and releases. He answered my questions and assured me he brought a strong team with him. The team members were genuinely friendly and eager to get to work. We only wanted them to take a few pieces, but they were able to fill their entire truck in just a couple of hours. They were very careful with all of our things, wrapping in blankets and cellophane. They were super considerate of the neighbors, too. Making sure they didn't block the road or driveways. And they seemed to enjoy working together, too, which made a very stressful day a little more joyful but still fast, efficient, and diligent. It's pretty amazing to watch large pieces go up stairs and the care they take to prevent bumping the walls or banisters. And The pieces arrived in great shape to our new home, and they were very good about asking where we wanted the larger pieces placed so we wouldn't have to make adjustments later. So helpful! Precision helped me with a small move. Thankful for the hardworking movers who climbed up and down numerous flights of stairs with my items. I really couldn't have done it without you guys. I've had my fair share of moves in my life so prior to booking them, I shopped around a bit and although they were slightly higher than other companies, they were the most reputable ones. You get what you pay for and personally, I'd rather spend a few extra bucks than hire bad movers who break your goods or up the price on the day of. Many of the companies I called sounded fishy and I couldn't even verify their license online let alone get one of them to disclose their address. I experienced the opposite with Precision! They were welcoming and encouraging when speaking to them. Zarko was very helpful and provided me an answer to every question I had and didn't make me feel doubtful about them.  Just a tip (and what a little bit of Google & research can do :] ) Make sure to dodge scammers and verify the companies you call, are actually licensed. It's against the law for a moving company to operate without a license and there are a ton in LA! It's so upsetting to know that we work hard for our money and there are companies out there who scam you and aren't even allowed to drive a moving truck yet they do and with our household goods inside!!  You can confirm by going to CPUC Lookup online. read more

Jay, our contact, took us through each step of the moving process with our daughter, who moved from Granada Hills, CA to Victorville about 80 miles away. The movers, brothers Fernando and Jose, were on time (a bit early as they called), covered areas of the pathway to move, went through each piece of furniture to determine how it was to be moved, shrink wrapped each piece and carefully loaded the truck. They took all the boxes that we marked for moving also. They were friendly, treated us and our home with utmost respect, and dutifully got all loaded in 1 1/2 hours. We all drove and arrived at the destination within minutes. They handled all the furniture carefully, placing everything where my daughter directed, and had all unloaded in 1 1/2 hours. They were extraordinary, letting us know each step of the process as they were doing it. We paid in cash which allowed us to have a better price, and got it done with the minimum time. They brought me up and took me through the truck to check that all was unloaded. My daughter is very happy with the move and movers for getting her set up in her new place. I also used a search engine to look for a good price on reliable movers. Precision contacted me right away. I had to move during the week, so my husband and most of my family couldn't help since they would be at work. I made it clear the movers would have to do everything and I would direct traffic. The price that was quoted was very reasonable so I signed up. I got a confirmation call a couple days before my move- giving me reassurance Precision was on the ball. When Marcos, Irving, and Walter arrived, I was impressed immediately. They were on time. They were professionally dressed, polite, and absolutely hard working. Marcos took the lead, but all three guys were impressive. I had a couple requests to take extra care with a few items and they had no problem with this. Communication between myself and the movers was excellent. My entire move from a two bedroom apartment to a three bedroom was complete in 7 hours-the exact estimate of time I was given on the phone. I am way behind in writing this review. Precision moved me, my wife and ournewborn baby baby back in November 27, 2021, PROFESSIONALLY and Safetly and Smoothly! We originally moved into a new townhouse in Hollywood back in July 2021...that moving company was a COMPLETE Disaster! Even though they had a 5 Star Review, they were aweful. So we were very nervous about moving AGAIN just 6 months later. Tanya at Precision gave us instant confidence when we spoke with her and she reassured us not to worry about anything. I just had a couple of days to move and I used the usual search engines to find a reliable company to move me quickly and efficiently. My first response was from Alex at Precision Moving & Storage. He wasted no time in giving me a resonable quote. I accepted because I knew that his price was what I was looking for. Alex was able to accomodate my move within two days and sent an excellent crew of two men and a 26' truck. Antonio and Walter moved me efficiently and without a problem, filling my storage unit in good order, taking the worry out of my moving experience. One additional factor in all this: it just so happened that a very small, but valuable item was innocently overlooked and found on their truck when they returned to their facilitiy. Alex called me immediately to notify me the error. He made arrangements to have that item returned to me in short order! This is the kind of service one only hopes of having. I have been looking for a moving company for a few weeks, then one of our good friends recommended this moving company to us. she said she was very pleased with their services and the quality of the job they did. We were hesitant to pick them because they are on new yelp. but decided to take a leap of faith and schedule estimate with them. The estimator who came over to us was very professional went over all the details of the moving process. Then the day of the move, the moving crew shewed up on time, worked very fast and efficiently. Then handled all the things with a lot of care. And just FYI were a lot of things both big and small. and most importantly we have a baby grand piano that I was the most concerned about, But the movers really impressed me on how they handled it, great job!!! Guys. All the furniture was assembled, they placed the boxes and furniture in their designate rooms, which really was great for me :) . These Guys are Fantastic! I'm so glad I had the opportunity to work with Precision Moving. I have used many moving services in the past and was never really satisfied at the end of the day. I spoke with John over the phone and he carefully went over all my move information. I was a bit impatient with all the questions, but I knew that it is for my own good and appreciated the thoroughness. John answered all of my questions and also made some great recommendations on how to make our move easier and cut cost. On moving day, they arrive exactly at 9am. I was impressed how well they worked, and how carful they were with my antique furniture. Once they started to bring in the furniture to my new place they asked me where I wanted each piece placed as they brought them in and made some great suggestions to help me stage my new house. Thank you guys! :) I would recommend them to friends and family. The movers (Augustin, German, Enrique, Juan C and Juan D) were all friendly and professional. We had A LOT of stuff in a 1300 sq foot 3-bedroom apartment, which required going up and down a long staircase with a small doorway. We were surprised by how fast they were able to load the truck. They also had their own boxes and tape and helped close things up. When they unloaded the truck, they brought every single thing to their designated areas, and even rebuilt everything, including our beds. I was especially happy because my bed used to creak loudly with any movement, but since the movers reassembled it, it's sturdy and no longer makes any noise. They also took a large, heavy refrigerator down a flight of stairs, and managed to get a table in the door that was too big for the doorway. Communication was solid every step of the way. Nothing was broken, and they were cautious of not causing scuffs or damage. read more
