We hired RTGM for our move from Santa Barbara County to LA County. Denys and the other two guys (cant remember their names sadly- I think Valdimir & Antoni?) were wonderful to work with. They were friendly and respectful and handled our belongings with absolute care. They not only loaded our items but they helped disassemble some of our furniture and then assembled it at the new property. Its been a week since the move and we've just finished unpacking everything. While none of our items were broken during the move (yay!) one of our furniture pieces did receive some damage, but we assume thats to be expected with a move and we're just happy that everything else is in perfect condition. Their rate is competitive for the area and they are very easy to work with on both an administrative level (with Helen) and on site (with the movers). I would definitely use them again if need be. read more

Alex, Andrew, and Vlad helped us move us (quickly) from our very full 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 floor townhouse. They arrived and got right to work and took care of everything - even the small details that we thought we had covered beforehand. We had a few heavy items too that the team was able to move up three floors. Super appreciated!!!! Omg, what a nightmare IT WASNT all thanks to the guys at Ready to Go!!! Denys, Sergei #1 and Sergei #2, and Igor...you guys are top notch. Helen, wonderful woman at within the office verifys and confirms and is super sweet to deal with. The guys showed up on time and literally ready to go. One of the guys found a hundred dollars in my sons room and walked it down to me. They packed EVERYTHING and are untra organized, I could not have been more impressed. Plus...happy wife happy life!!! They even offered to bubble wrap our dog, lol! I honestly thought the move was gonna be a nightmare...and parts were, but if these guys didnt come to my rescue I probably wouldve been in the emergency room with a stroke. Every step of the way - from scheduling to showing up on time, to addressing my move needs with a focused intelligence, was all 5 stars. I would add an extra star if I could. My move required loading a POD container, which necessitated an understanding of both space and weight for transport. Any concerns I had were explained with patience and thoughtfulness. I Highly recommend this company. They responded fast, scheduled quickly, and showed up on time. My movers were Alex, Sash, and Igor. They moved all my things quickly from my upstairs apartment to my new home. They covered all my things so they would be safe during transport and made moving very easy. We moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas a few weeks ago. I'm SO HAPPY we decided to go with professional moving company instead of doing it all by ourselves, like we did before. These guys are extremely professional, punctual, they know what they're doing and have great equipment. All our stuff arrived safe and clean, even the two items we were most concerned about - a grand piano and a pool table - were no issue. We started at about 9 AM and were done by 7 PM, and that's INCLUDING the trip to Vegas in the middle of the day with traffic and all. Highly recommended! read more

I had this company move my household items from home to a nearby storage facility. The job took less time than I'd expected (just short of three hours) as the three men worked fast, hard and didn't take any breaks. With two previous moving companies years ago, I went to work helping the movers as they were slow and needed someone to set the pace...not these guys, they got right down to business. They were careful with my possessions and securely wrapped a few things with plastic. The biggest help they gave was when we got to the storage locker and stacked everything neat and tight so that there was some extra room for some things I will add to storage later. The three men were all true gentlemen. The truck didn't leak any oil on my driveway. All in all, it was the perfect move at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!!! read more

I hired this company to move my mother. The day of the move came and my mother had not finished packing. Sergey, Alexy and Ren showed up on time and saved the day! They supplied her with boxes, tape and paper and quickly got her packed and loaded up the truck. They were friendly, clean, efficient and quick. Very easy to work with. These guys are the best. We had previously scheduled another moving company for a move in August that flaked on us the morning of. We called ready to go movers, who made themselves available and arrived within a few hours. We weren't very prepared and didn't have enough boxes-no problem, they took care of it. They were so nice and efficient and we ended up paying less than what our previous movers quoted us. Highly highly recommend this company. read more

It was awesome to be able to find some movers week of/last minute. I called on a Thursday and had came through on a Sunday. These guys were great. Very efficient and friendly + they wrapped everything up super efficient. They were hard working fellas + it felt like they were working diligently and not burning the clock. 115$ an hour if you use a credit card. Sergey, Denys, and Tony were our guys. Kicked ass. I moved from Oxnard to Santa Clarita 2 bdrm apartment this week. Friend told me about Ready-To-Go movers and I decided to hire them. All I can say is these guys do know how to do their job. I took a day off to move and it was very important to get everything done as quickly as possible. I am so happy I found movers who are not only punctual but fast and professional as well! It was my first time using movers. From beginning to end, everything was just smooth sailing. When I called to make an appointment a week before my move, Helen, the customer service rep, got back to me with a straight forward quote. She answered all my questions promptly and confirmed with me multiple times through email and by phone for our scheduled move. They sent out 3 guys, Denys, Sergio, and Tony for the move. Arrived on time and got right to work. I was truly amazed at how quickly they were able to knock down each room. They were super efficient. BTW I lived in a 3 bed(fully loaded with too much crap) condo on the second floor without elevators. Not only were they efficient but they were extremely careful not to damage anything. I've heard horror stories of people having their stuff broken in the process from other moving companies which made me hesitate at first to hire movers but my husband and I are SO GLAD these guys were our help for the day. They've made this experience so easy and I'm definitely planning to recommend them to family and friends. We're sure we'll use their service again in the future! read more

Needed movers last second and they were able to accommodate us, thank you to Helen! We moved back in August so imagine the heat we were moving in. The pricing was much fairer compared to other places I called around that were charging an arm and a leg, so that is always appreciated. Amazing movers helped us move out super quickly and moved us in just as fast. Came on time and quickly wrapped, disassembled, and packed all of our big items (beds, couches, tv, dining room table chairs, fridge, dressers) in about 3 hours. Super careful handling with all of these items both to and from both locations. They were able to bring up our couch 3 flights of stairs as it didn't fit in the elevator. They provided the plastic wrapping, dresser boxes for any clothes we had left out, and worked super fast. Would use them again they were amazing! Alex, Valerie, and Vladimir were wonderful! Very good communication leading up to the move. They came early and worked efficiently. They even went above and beyond to move a few bulky things to my curb for the trash. I could tell they took great care with my things. And had me inspect the space to make sure everything was moved out. Alex asked great questions throughout and was very kind and courteous. I will hire them again in the future for sure! Others were cheaper and I initially went with someone else. But they had some bad reviews, didn't contact me at all before the move and didn't have a contract or deposit so I switched and I'm so glad I did. Movers were amazing! Alexey, Nickolai, Valeriy, and Dmitriy worked so hard and we appreciate them so much for getting us into our new home. They were on time and packaged all of our belongings carefully and lifted some heavy ass stuff up the stairs. Didn't scratch a thing and truly unbelievable how organized they were able to put our stuff away in the garage and throughout the house. My three movers Den, Eugene and Alex arrived on time. They packed everything up fast and were very efficient. Everything went smoothly. Also, they offered extra help ...wrapping didn't cost me anything extra.. When we got to my new place they put everything together very fast and hung my clothes in my closet. This company was the only one to estimate we would need 2 trucks, which turned out to be the perfect fit. The movers showed up on time and worked straight until we finished. A CAUTIONARY TALE: My husband and I hired Osmon Movers for a…read moremove from LA to the Bay Area on 4/1/22. They arrived the week of, as we hired them to assist with packing and loading as well. We purchased additional insurance to protect ourselves from accidental damage but little did we know that we would soon be receiving a ransacked truck with many of our belongings missing or damaged to the tune of over $15,000. For clarity, our move was a 3-day process. Osmon's team sent 3 employees to pack on Wednesday, 4 employees to load our belongings on Thursday, and they were expected to deliver 4 employees and the 24' truck full of our belongings on Friday morning at 9 am. On Wednesday, during packing, the foreman demanded that we pay for parking at an $80 fee. They used the boxes we had, and then supplemented a limited amount of packing supplies at a total of over $400. Two items were broken by their employees. We paid in full for the day's work + tips for the employees. On Thursday, the truck was packed and it was time to pay for the day's work. The foreman requested a 25% tip, stating that this was the standard practice. When my husband declined to fulfill this request (the move was estimated to be $5000 total at this point, and $1000 in tips on top of paying approximately $76/hr/employee was far from what we deemed as reasonable) he became visibly angry. My husband attempted to thank him, and still paid for the day's work and provided over $50 in tips per employee. The foreman turned away from him without a word and gathered his belongings to leave. As per the website, the standard tip is $4-6/hr/employee. The information provided by the foreman was a blatant lie. At this point, we were beginning to get frustrated by the lack of transparency, professionalism, and honesty displayed but we continued on as normal. The next morning, we were expected to meet the new moving crew at 9 am at our new apartment. By 9:40, we still had not received contact from anyone on their team. My husband called the foreman from the previous days, and said, "The driver had an emergency and you're not going to get your stuff today. Someone will call you in 30 minutes." He then hung up on us without explanation. We contacted customer service approximately 3-4 times as they would not provide us with a clear answer as to what had happened to the driver or our belongings. I was kept on hold for over a half-hour, hung up on, and ultimately not contacted until almost 12 noon with any explanation at all. Apparently, their truck was stolen at 7 am, and no one told us until 5 hours later. We were instructed to use our homeowner's insurance because "moving company insurance isn't that good," as per their customer service representative Joan. If we wouldn't have called I really don't know when they would have contacted us. At 10 pm that night, I get a text from a new number saying that the truck was recovered. Apparently, it was from the owner, who had not contacted us prior and did not introduce himself as the owner. It wasn't until the following day that we were advised that the truck was parked at a hotel in Oakland (which is unbelievably notorious for car theft and break-in) when it was stolen. We were told that it looked like the only thing that was stolen was a TV, which as per the pictures is impossible. (We would soon see that the first 10-12 ft of the truck were completely destroyed.) We asked for delivery first thing the next morning, and were told that they couldn't do it because they already had something planned for the morning. At this point, I heard no concern for our belongings, our experience, or that this company wanted to right the wrong that happened on their watch. We paid them thousands of dollars to be entrusted with literally all of our belongings - irreplaceable wedding gifts, family heirloom items, furniture, antiques, art, clothing, baby pictures, everything. Of the belongings that were returned, many were destroyed, stained, and haphazardly dumped into mixed boxes. Once the remainder of our things were unloaded, I was immediately pressed for an inventory of missing items and to sign a new contract. After all of this, the company expected (1) immediate payment, (2) a concrete list of items missing without ample time to inventory the mess they delivered, and (3) to sign a contract stating that I had received a complete and substantial service. I firmly believe that this was an attempt to further skirt liability as the next time I spoke with the owner, Janysh, he informed me that even though our contract explicitly states that we had additional insurance to cover the items in full, his team failed to file the request with their 3rd party insurance provider. Time and time again, we were made to feel as if our experience and belongings were the last thing on their mind. They are refusing to cover the $15k in loss/damages, and we are now forced to file a breach of contract lawsuit to recuperate our losses.

The reason I am giving them five now is because I just used a different local moving company to pack my apartment and load a truck I rented, and I was highly dissatisfied with the service. I won't name this business, but the work did not reflect the cost and I wouldn't recommend that business to anyone. Comparing it to my experience with Stear, I knew I had to sit down and write the review. In July of 2021 I hired two workers to pack my 1 bedroom apartment, load their own truck, unload the truck at my new apartment, AND they drove the truck over to the nearby Goodwill so I could drop off four pieces of large furniture that I was donating for no extra charge. It took a total of 6 hours (my new apartment was only a few streets from my old one), and cost $800 pre-tip. One of the guys definitely worked his ass off the entire time, but I saw the other guy on his phone many times and slowly packing items. My roommate said she saw him chilling downstairs over to the side, and when he saw her he pretended to be working. That was the reason I was going to knock them down a star. But again, comparing the amount of work they got done in the time they did, and at the price they did it, to that of the company I just used, I am locking in at five stars. On top of that, all items were wrapped well enough that nothing was broken in the move, nor was I worried about it. They also knew obvious things like "wrap glass in wrapping paper before packing" and "don't pack living plants in boxes". That is in stark contrast to my recent experience. Here's a breakdown so you can get an idea of the competition: Stear (2021): -hired to pack 1 bedroom apartment and move items to new apartment (0.3 miles away) -I had more items in this move -they drove to a second location so I could drop off some furniture to be donated -all boxes and wrapping materials included in rate -2 men -I hardly did any work -$800 total -6 hours total Company #2 (2022): -hired to pack 1 bedroom apartment and load truck I rented -I didn't have items to donate and I had less items in this move -my dad and I were helping by packing and organizing the entire time -charged per box, wrapping materials "included" but they didn't have wrapping paper for fragile items (they used mine from my last move) -3 men (plus my dad and me) -they only had to pack and load a truck, didn't have to drive it anywhere -$700 total (was going to give me a "discount" at $760, I was like no) -4 hours 50 minutes total

I had only hired 2 guys for my move, and they showed up with 3. I was told I had to now pay for all 3, otherwise the whole crew would leave and I would have to wait for a totally different crew of 2, and there was no timetable on when or if that would even happen - so I may just not have a move at all. It was already mid afternoon and I didn't have time to wait, so I just went with it and paid more than I budgeted. Ultimately the move went smoother because of having 3 people, but they still finished before the 3 hour minimum had passed. They finished in about 2hr 30m. I'm not sure how much longer 2 guys would have taken or how the cost would have compared. But ultimately this miscommunication was stressful and I felt I had no choice but to just go with it. 2. The lead of the crew was great, but his 2 guys were not as professional or careful when it came to moving fragile or less common objects. I had to babysit the movement of a few pieces or move them myself.
