I came on here to leave another review because I was so happy with my service on Saturday and I came across Laila's post. I have no idea what that woman is talking about. Plucking and threading are a part of getting your eyebrows done. And I'm pretty positive you can't do what Lida does at home so you could "pocket" the money. I've brought many of my friends here with horrendous eyebrows and she was the one to fix it because as I said before she's pure talent. $25 is a bargain for how your eyebrows comes out! I have been going to The Eyebrow Boutiques nail artist, Fairy, for the past 5 years. She's amazing! My polish never chips and I always get compliments on how clean my manicure looks. My experience at The Eyebrow Boutique was exactly what I hoped it would be, and even went beyond expectations. I came in with sparse brows and wanted to go the permanent makeup route and it has CHANGED MY LIFE, no joke. Aside from being compassionate and a beautiful woman inside & out, Lida truly is a genius and master at her work. She took my face shape and considered what arch would look best, took my input and gave her own (trust her, you'll be glad you did!), then got started. She talked me through the steps and constantly made sure I was comfortable. Just FYI, it's not that bad at all! Pain: 1-10, I'd have to say 5/6 (almost like the feeling of getting them threaded). When she was done, I was absolutely blown away. My confidence has enhanced tenfold and I walk around a little more confidently. Also, not a SINGLE person has noticed they're tattoos. NOT ONE. My brows look full, beautiful and best of all NATURAL! On a side note, I had lightened my hair before coming back for a follow up with Lida. She noticed, spread on a little lightener so the hairs themselves would blend better, and now I have a FLAWLESS LOOK. She is a blessing and I am so grateful to have been worked on by her. I have been a client of Lida's for over a year now and my eyebrows have never looked better. I have straight brows with long hairs, and she knows how to shape them and trim them. I will never go back to waxing. I used to pay $10 for waxing and would leave all pink & puffy. Never, ever have had this happen with Lida and she is worth every penny of what she charges ($25), which includes the upper lip as well. She works efficiently, is very pleasant and knows what she's doing. She also knows how to listen to what you want and works with you. This is a great hairsalon and eyebrow boutique. The people are very friendly and have a good vibe. I wasn't satisfied with my hair color and I went back. They were nice about making changes I wanted and gave me excellent service overall. They use a plucker a lot for eyebrows that doesn't personally work for me, but they are good about getting the shape right. read more

Lida is a lifesaver!!! I came to Lida to save the day after a horrendous hair cut and color! My hair was a disaster nothing close to what I had asked the previous hair stylist to complete. The previous hairstylist attempted bayalage my hair- my hair was a solid brassy orange color after it (even with toner). Lida came to my rescue!! She corrected the color and gave me a fresh new hair cut immediately. She squeezed me in between appointments. Now I absolutely love my hair! I will never go to anyone else!! Yesterday, I had my eyebrows tattooed by Lida. She is a nice and professional woman. Her shop is nice and clean. I am disappointed in the way my eyebrows turned out, sad with nothing to do. Won't go back to make them possibly worse. They are not the same. One is higher than the other, they are not beginning at the same point based on looking at my nose or level with the other eye. DON'T MATCH!!!! While in the chair I was wondering why she was taking MUCH longer on the right than the left. She was trying to fix the error that happened during her set up drawing. I guess.... I looked at the end service and was satisfied and thought they looked nice or so glad to be out of the pain. But after looking at myself and today one day later it is very noticeable. It's a tattoo hopefully fading over time. My friends agree they aren't the same or even. But even not seeing the mistake while there, she asked me to give her a tip before signing my credit card. The request for a tip comes up automatically before you sign the computer screen. She had to have that pre programed before signing. So So tacky. I also asked for a receipt she couldn't furnish one on the spot. I was so disappointed, that's not how to run a business being a business woman myself. I had to give my e mail address to have one sent. Tacky.. I didn't leave a tip, That was Outrageous in my opinion. You don't tip the owner of the business. Any business!! That is tacky to even ask for. Especially after being charged $500.00. Today I cancelled the credit card I left a deposit on since thinking twice. She has all my information. She was paid on a different credit which I have to honor. A person doesn't have much recourse after the fact. Just learn and understand there is no going back once a tattoo read more

I would totally recommend this place. Got my highlights done with Lida there last week and she did a great job! I usually get a highlight and a lowlight, but because my roots had grown out quite a bit, Lida suggested I just get the blonde streaks. It looked awesome and she was right. I was very pleased with the result and would totally come back. Lida and her daughter who also works there were super nice and friendly and the salon is really pretty. Bonus: they served me nice hot tea and had pastries sitting out. She also does threading, but my eyebrows were already thin, so I couldn't do it. However, her salon seems pretty busy and full of regular customers, so she must be pretty good. read more

I found this place by accident, I had been looking for a place that could repair a horrible eyebrow tatoo (a thick red line outside of the natural hair growth) done to my two cousins from out of USA, I went in and saw a bit of what Lida was doing. I called my cousins to let them know and the next trip each made here, I took them directly there. Lida took the time to see the possibilities and to explain to us what could be done to repair it. And she went to work.... both my cousins have had a wonderful tatoo correction and the color is very natural. While there they had a hair cut (which was unexpected) and as it turned out she was excellent at this art also. I have visited her for my last two hair cuts and yesterday I did my hair color as well, I brought my niece with me this time, we are both very fussy in this area, when it comes to hair cut or color and we both left very happy once more. She did threading on my face (I have a peach fuzz cover all over my face), she cleaned it up quickly and very nicely.
