Lida is amazing. She's friendly and easy to talk to. Her threading skills is flawless. I've been going to her for my eyebrows for years. Eyebrow threading usually takes about 10-15 minutes. If you're picky about how you like your eyebrows, do tell her before she starts. She does listen. The reason I only gave 4/5 is because they don't take appointments seriously. At times, the wait can be 30-45 minutes because of all the walk-ins. Also, the location was hard to find at first because the plaza has a lot of vacant spots, so it looks closed. read more

I came in on Saturday at 12 PM, lunch time. My appointment was at 12:15. It didn't seem like it was busy but as soon as I was about to take seat and wait till they call me in, a lady approached me and told me she was ready. Her name was Lida. Since it was my first time getting my eyebrows done here I was a bit afraid how it will turn out since my eyebrows were a bit of a mess. So I took that chance, and I was really amazed on how it looked. She was quick and very nice. The shape of my eyebrows were clean, perfectly shaped and symmetrical. I never thought getting brows done would feel so good. Even the atmosphere of this place was really nice along with their music playlist. They even have some treats on the tables too. Once upon a time, I was just a sad girl with terribly shaped eyebrows, searching for someone to trust. I tried everything from waxes at luxurious salons to those threading carts at the mall -- nope, nope and nope. I mean, eyebrows sit on your FACE... needs to be right. Cue Lida... game-changer. Don't have to worry, don't have to stress. Just show up and she gets it done. My eyebrows actually look BETTER as they grow out (to a point); she has magic fingers and a keen, keen eye for shaping eyebrows. Just have a seat in this cute Glendale establishment and let your eyebrow worries wash away. Make sure you call and make an appointment on weekends or around holidays. Hell, just call to make sure a few days ahead or the day of to see if she's free and around; it'll save you a headache. There's a parking lot right next door that's free for 90 minutes; the actual boutique is tucked away and not visible from the street. 4 stars because this is not a cheap experience ($25 + tip)! Also, there have been a couple instances where the threading was a little too brisk and led to some small, painful scabs -- watch out if your skin is sensitive. (I think it says quite a bit that I was in actual PAIN once from this experience and I honestly don't care; she's that good.) P.S. She also cuts hair! And has snacks. read more

Since I moved, it's been too difficult going to diamond bar to see my favorite brow threader! Found this place on Yelp with great reviews so I had to see if they were going to replace my brow lady of 5 years! I made an appointment and arrived early on a Saturday afternoon. This place is definitely a salon than an "eyebrow boutique". Upon arrival, there are a few customers getting their hair done. One of stylists doing the hair was the eyebrow tech. I had a short wait then she sat me in her chair. Her hair removal technique is thread and tweeze and my eyebrows came out really nice! I also had my chin threaded and total it came to $30, a little high for me but the results were good so no complaints. I will keep searching around for threaders but I'll be back in between time. read more

I cannot express how much I love my eyebrows! I forced my guy friend to come here with me since it was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded. He groaned and resisted but after I threatened that he could walk home from Glendale to Burbank, he quickly agreed. When I first walked in, I was a little confused at first. I didn't really see a reception desk and I didn't see anyone that I thought was running the place, so I stood in the doorway feeling a little awkward. However, one of the ladies turned around and finally got me settled. She called Lida over and announced that she had a walk-in and Lida came out. I think I caught her on her lunch break or something because she came out from the back chewing something and kindly told me that she would be a minute. I instantly felt bad and told her that I could come back if she was on lunch, but she shook her head and said that it wasn't a problem. I sat down with my friend and noticed that there was a plate full of baklava for guests to eat! There was also a water station and magazines spread out. The decor was wonderful and everything was REALLY clean. She comes out and guides me over to the eyebrow chair where she turns on a ring light (the light shaped like a ring with a mirror inside, it brightens up the face so you could see more details on the face!) and examines my face. The only part I didn't like about this was that she didn't ask me if it was my first time or if I've gotten my eyebrows done before (a little reassurance might have been nice) but, whatever, who cares!? She asked me, how do you want your eyebrows? And I told her that I just wanted them even! (Waxing wasn't working out for me.) She told me that she was going to leave the ends because they were a little short and set to work. My eyes started tearing up (which I heard was going to happen because the eye area is so sensitive) but I guess I was tearing up more than usual because she stopprd threading and asked me if I was okay. I told her that I was fine and that she was doing a great job, but she switched from threading to plucking for my comfort! Every so often, she would tell me to look in the mirror and ask if I wanted her to make any changes. Every time, I only saw perfection, so I didn't bother telling her a single thing! And the end, I got up out of the chair and she told me to look into one of the salon mirrors.. IT WAS PERFECT. I HAVE NEVER HAD MY EYEBROWS SO PERFECT BEFORE. I squealed my lungs out and she kind of jumped (I think I scared her HAHA) but I was so happy! It was $25 but I ended up giving her $30 and told her the rest was tip. She smiled warmly and said thank you and I told her that she deserved it. AH. INCREDIBLY HAPPY. WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK FOR A CLEAN UP. read more

I just went in to get my eyebrows cleaned up and shaped and it was great! I have never had my brows threaded, but I now prefer it to wax. It was so fast, but super clean and there was no lingering redness to conceal afterwards. I had errands to run directly afterwards so this was fantastic as I didn't have to add any concealer.
