My family's wedding ceremony and reception was held approx. 2 wks. ago and My Family hired and paid "TOP Dollars" to Sherlett the woman that's the General Manager of this business to also do our DECOR! She gave us NO legal binding contract and Blamed Ashley (bar manager) for not being on time and neglected to provide champagne for our champagne wall which was paid for plus did not produce the signature cocktails that were specified. Do not ever book with the liar Sandy! She's untrustworthy and will sell you dreams in which none of it will come true. The head bosses need to fire her on the spot. I was excited and ready to put a $500 deposit towards my son's graduation celebration June 2025. After meeting with my appointed salesperson Sherlett via their website, she introduced herself as the General Manager. She mentioned they have a promotion until the end of 2026 of only $2700 for all Fridays and Sundays events. We wanted our event catered therefore asked to see their menu. Ms. Sherlett said, the factory no longer has a caterer. She then proceeded by introducing her very own catering Caribbean Soul Food menu. I responded by asking her if they had a package deal that includes staff. She ignored my question and proceeded to tell me she also does all decor for the factory. Upon, discussing liquor options, she said we can bring in our own outside unlimited liquor if we pay $350 corking fee. read more

We went back to this place to book another event and met with a woman the manager which said she does all sales and decoration as well. Disappointed on how much this business has changed. The venue looks run down. The floors look dull and tiles are loose. Light fixers broken. The light gray curtains look dirty and stained. When I pointed that out to her she stated the owners don't care or fix anything but she assured me if I hire her as our decor she will make the space look brand new. I came here for a baby shower & the space is very spacious. There are two levels with a bar area in the back. There was also a room on a upper level upon entering the space that had a open glass window, so I guess if someone needed a few minutes to step away they could go there especially with it being the colder months it beats going outside. I didn't go up there, so I don't know if you can still hear music etc while in there, but it has to be some level of quiet being it's away from the main floor. I didn't book this event space, I was just a guest, so I can't speak pricing, accommodations etc, however as a guest, it was very nice. I had to book and employee event with a limited amount of time and The Factory was just the best in assisting me with such a short notice. The place is sooooo spacious! My favorite part about the place was the loft area! Aaron is thorough with letting you know what the amenities and is easy to work with. Sherlett is an absolute queen in all things event planning and decorum. She being my "right hand woman" for that day was what I needed. Joe, the I.T. guy was knowledgeable in helping me with the sound and lights. The security guards, the servers everything were amazing. I went to a class reunion at the Factory and our salesperson name was Sandy. She was the bar manager and made a lot of promises she could not keep. She is the biggest liar in the world. She lied to us about everything. She had us thinking we were receiving one thing but that was not the case, Sherlett went out of her way to make sure we received everything we anticipated. She accommodated us in every way possible, as long as I can book with Sherlett, I will be sure to use the factory again. 1) She lied about picking our own signature drinks, thankfully the bartenders were able to adapt. 2) She lied about setting appointments for tastings and never answered her phone on numerous attempts to connect. 3) She lied to us about having a two hour unlimited signature drinks for our class reunion and never told us we had to pay additional fees for that. What an embarrassment to our class reunion? Thank God for Sherlett (GM) 4) She lied about we can use the TV's for our montage in which was another additional fee that she forgot to mention. 5) She lied about our DJ can use the speakers. Another memory loss for Sandy. 6) She lied about we can have usage of the kitchen. She couldn't remember that either. Brain fog! She's a complete liar! We put all of our trust in a pathological liar. I've been hesitant to go public and write a review about this place because I've never written a review. After verbally sharing my awful experience with a few of my friends and family, they advised me to share with others my experience so they can have informative feedback. Extremely disappointed! Horrible Customer Service! Additional fees and charges the week of the event. We ran a bar tab to cover all liquor consumption for our guests, At the end of our event I was presented with a receipt they wanted me to sign. When I asked for an itemized receipt of all alcohol consumed as proof of all sales they could not produce it. The manager stated they do not provide itemized receipt or report! I just celebrated my daughters sweet 16th and I got to say that the place is beautiful but this place is a Rip off!!!! No outside liquor is accepted and they charge you 75$ for a 24 case of beer!!! you are better off hiring your own bar tender even though they must have their own too, the bottles were going like water of course think about it the pre they drink the more you have to buy, also they didn't inform us that the bottles were fine so they charge my guests 15$ for drinks, a lot of my guests were complaining that there was no liquor when there was. My guests were complaing about how cold it was and my friends son got sick from the cold. Also they charge me for 2 security guards who didn't get to my party til around 6 and my party started at 5pm I got a lady around her late 40s which I thought I was going to get 2 big dudes if a fight breaks out what is she going to do and then an older guy. get some real securities if you're going to charge !!!!!also they charge 300$ for cleaning and what does the cleaning include them cleaning the flirts and bathrooms the next day you must clean all foods including plates off the tables and they expect you to throw out the garbage . I will never book this place agaún and do not recommend this place !!!!!! My bill was only 3500 and I ended up paying 7,900$$ Don't say I didn't warn you!!!!! read more
