Good cuts always at the fade shop! I have experienced genuine people at this location and the product they offer is of professional grade. I haven't had anyone mess up my haircut, and enjoy that their location is near to my job and residence. I get my edge ups and facial trims from Jasmine. She does a wonderful job and seems to really care about her work, as she puts great effort into my cut. I've been going here since I've moved to the Addison/Carrollton/Plano area and haven't looked elsewhere since, especially after bad experiences at other shops. Others locations that may have a lower price point, I have found to have lower quality as well. I've been to a haircut joint on Marsh Lane, and also one near the Kroger on Frankford, and both weren't as good. I experienced being shoved behind a friend of the barbers, bad cuts/edge ups, and not being greeted at the other shops. One even left uncut hair on my neck after the cut and then left the shop lol. I was in a rush to work so I had to find an emergency way to cut the missed hair off, I haven't been back to that spot since. Go try out the fade shop, I believe their cuts start at 15-25, I usually pay $30 because I get an edge-up and also have facial hair, both which may count as two edge ups or cuts? Either way I typically pay $35 after tip and find that that is fair considering the sharp cut and friendly service I get. read more

This barbershop gets five stars from me! One thing I like to do is keep myself looking good... So when I'm on the road I'm always looking for the best barbershop in the city. So I did what I always do I took it to Facebook and asked where is the best Barber shop in Dallas. And the people said that the fades shop is one of the best. So I put in a call and it was almost closing time but they still waiting for me to come in and right away I felt at home when I walked in the establishment. These are not just a group of people that cut hair these are real barbers they have some very impeccable skills and maintenance when it comes to making you look good. They don't just rush you out of the seat they make sure that you look good before you leave and that you are satisfied and they don't just do black hair they cut all types of hair. Went here a few times only for my haircut resulting pretty bad and a ton of awkwardness in this environment. They are inconsistent with seemingly basic cuts (I.e taper fade, Cesar, bald fade) A pro is they typically greet you when you walk in, but that goes down the drain since waiting on a cut takes ages. Let's be frank, a quality haircut is what you're looking for, this is not the place to get it. I just came from The Fade Shop. I got a great cut with no complaints at all. The shop was clean, easy parking and I walked right in with no appointment. I don't remember my barbers name, but he was social and a pro. My favorite aspect of any barbershop is the conversations that happen and the vibe. The TV's were on but signals were really scrambled. Music would have really helped the vibe. That's my only complaint. When I'm back in town I will come back for sure. read more

Great place! Needed a cut, and this place is a stone throw away from the Extended Stay America. Jasmine did an awesome job, she was a consummate professional, very detailed oriented and basically, for 25$, it felt like I was stealing from her. I made sure she was tip appropriately. I needed my beard lined up while I was out for lunch at work. I was greeted by a friendly staff and I was able to get into a chair with no wait. I was very happy as I was a walk-in, and didn't make an appointment. The young lady was friendly, and lined my mustache and beard pretty good. Being on lunch break means your are pressed for time, and it took almost an hour to line my beard and mustache with no shave! I figured it would take 20 to 25 minutes, and the cost range would be $12 to $15, but I was horribly mistaken! The lady charged me $25! I was cussing on the inside, but happily gave my card to the young lady. She forgot to mention it was an additional $2 charge for using the card service. My total bill was $27 and I was hot! I figure I would treat myself and have someone else do it but never again. I really think she over-charged me, and I won't be back again. That's what I get for being lazy and not lining my beard. First off the cut was pretty good I have no complaints about it but, when you have an appointment at 315pm and you arrive a few mins earlier and dont sit until 340pm that's an issue. Not only was it at 340pm but to be sitting in a chair for 2hrs for a fade is ridiculous so, all in all I spent 3hrs at the shop when I had an appointment and showed up prior to that appointment. read more

This is one of the best barber shops in Dallas hands down if you are looking for a fade or fresh cut. The staff is friendly and they all know what they are doing. If you don't make an appointment and walk in like I did my first time be ready for a long wait which is understandable as they are busy and people with appointments will be cutting in front of you, but that's part of the game and why it pays to use the same barber and have them recognize you and get to the level where you can text in your appointments. The prices are very reasonable and if your coming through I recommend Big Phil as he has taken care of me a few times since I moved out to Dallas from San Diego. My friend and I walked In, his barber is done in like 25 min. What kind of barber cuts one side and leaves the other side longer? You could tell he cut his hair really fast so he could go back to his chair and keep watching Tv. Meanwhile, my barber is still cutting my hair. I would say mine wasn't bad, but what kind of barber spends 2 hours if not more on a simply fade??? She took almost 1 hour 30 min on the sides and 30 cutting the top. I wouldn't be so disappointed if my haircut wouldn't have taken 2 hours and if my friend's barber could've done a better job. So DISAPPOINTED about this place, First time and I don't think we would ever go back. I saw people come and go, come and go and I was still sitting there waiting for my barber to finish the sides. A couple years ago I was taking my son to this shop on a regular basis and they always made us feel welcome and he always got a good cut. We moved and stop going- well, this past Saturday my son requested specifically to go the The Fade Shop because he wanted a particular cut. My son is of mixed race. We drive 30 minutes to the shop. When we walked in it was immediately an uncomfortable feeling and then shortly after the barber's started making indirect comments about how no one wanted to cut his hair and how they volunteer to go get everyone lunch at a far away restaurant, and how he has his hot comb ready...and then an inappropriate song came on and one of the barber's made it a point to look in my direction and tell me not to get offended by the lyrics. By this point, had it not been for my son specifically requesting to come there I would have left and taken my business elsewhere, but I stayed. When he did get in a chair, I have never been so disappointed by a haircut in all my life. My son cried as soon as we got in the car- even if you can't cut his hair how he requested (box fade) then please at least get his line up crisp. It was crooked, the back was not touched and they didn't sponge it like they did everyone else nor did it look anything close to a box fade. She cut his hair with scissors- I've never in the 10 years I've taken him to barber shops had a barber use scissors to cut his hair. I left that shop and took him to another down the street for them to correct the cut- and they did. I am so disappointed at the service, how they made me feel uncomfortable as a customer, and the quality of the cut.
