Perfect gem in Glendale! They have welcoming service and very reasonable drink prices. The atmosphere is cool and casual, making it great for a low-key night. Great selection of drinks and even have some mocktails on there. The Mango Sticky Rice was amazing, if you like fruit drinks and coconut, definitely get that one. Prices are reasonable too. Honestly, this place needs more hype!

Drinks 10/10 Service 10/10 BEST IVE EVER HAD BY RENE Ambiance 10/10 Honestly I hadn't been here in forever but from now on whenever Rene is on the clock we'll be checking in for sure. Service is everything and especially when you go to a bar having A1 service will always have you going back. She was so nice and made every single drink as we asked for. She for sure understood the assignment.

Oh man, what can I say about this place that hasn't already been said a hundred times. The staff is amazing, the cocktails they make are somehow even better. If you want a quiet drink with someone who's company you enjoy, this is absolutely the place. I loved the snacks too, which is something you usually dont notice. They carry an assortment of Asian chips and other snacks that rock. My lady and I were only in town for two days but we had to end each night here. Whoever manages this place and whoever made the cocktail menu are absolute Rockstars. As are the bartenders. Whether you want a classic, a signature cocktail, or something obscure, this place has exactly what you need.

Just happened to come across this place after enjoying our time at the mall and Americana. We were looking for a bar to relax at before we finished our night. We loved the overall atmosphere and the drinks were great. We loved the concepts of including Asian favors and the events/specials they had. Free ramen when drinks ordered for Tuesday night! We got to chat with fellow Filipino Co-owner Anthony who was happy to chat about our silly ideas for future drinks and the background of their bar. We hope to come one of these Thursdays for karaoke night and any new drink ideas they may come up with. Not pictured that we also enjoyed the huge boot glass with Oktoberfest beer and the Mango Sticky rice drink worth a try!!!

This bar is such a great find. The projector TV makes it an ideal place to watch games, and the drinks are consistently good. Happy hour runs from 4-7pm every day, which is hard to beat. Relaxed atmosphere, good prices, and a solid place to hang out with friends.

Not usually a bar person but came to support a friend who was performing for a music event night. Had a few drinks myself, parking isn't the worst in the area and it's in Glendale which is a nice area to visit. They do multiple types of events here and this was my first experience at the famous bar. I'll definitely be back, the vibes were great, and a singer I'm quite familiar with happened to show up randomly I got to see two singers I liked. My only critique was the struggle to get a drink ordered but it was very busy and it seemed like a less than normally staffed night so I'll forgive that one small negative. Check out this place it's a nice nightlife option

Although I love the bars in Studio City, I think I may have just discovered my new favorite spot in Glendale. I met a few friends for drinks last Friday @ The Famous, which is located in the heart of Glendale. I ordered my regular old fashioned with Makers Mark. The bartender perfected my drink both times. This is the perfect bar to go to after dinner, before calling it a night. Their music was upbeat and I loved the ambience. The servers were attentive to all guests and extremely prompt in bringing out the drinks. Their prices are fair and service is superb. Now that I've been to this bar, I know I'll end up going back again. You can find them on Instagram @thefamousbar . Make sure to stop by the next time you're in Glendale. This place is great.

Stylish, upscale bar on Brand in downtown Glendale that is perfect for nighttime vibes, The Famous was a delightful spot for us to make a final stop before retreating to the hotel. We grabbed gin and tonics at the bar and found lounge seating where we chilled, drank, and watched the people bantering around us. It was a Thursday evening when we went to The Famous, where it wasn't packed wall-to-wall, but there was a good crowd. I think there was some bachelor's party or something in the back, which could have explained the delay in obtaining our tab from the bar. Also, I think only two bartenders were working, which probably should have been one more from the crowd, but it was a Thursday night. Regardless, The Famous will deliver on the drinks and the good vibes. I got a kick out of being told by the bouncer he needed to see my ID despite my gray hairs! That made me chuckle quite a bit. I guess I'm not that old... yet!

Went there to celebrate one of my good friend's birthday last Thursday. What a blast!! The atmosphere was fun, the bartender was amazing!!! Everyone was having a wonderful time. The drinks were excellent and they also have water easily available on the side for self serve. There is pay parking up front, and there is also a parking structure right behind (90 minutes free, $1 every 30 minutes). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

These 2 drinks came out to $40. disappointed at the proportion size, drinks are good but this my first time and last time.

From fun nights out, special occasions, whiskey tastings, exploring the speakeasy... playing some pool, enjoying libations, taking in live music, perfect outings on the patio, the occasional cigar. So many great memories and experiences created here including some awesome date days with my other half. If stopping in for the first time you'll discover S.G. on 7th and Grand Avenue with a door person usually always at the bottom of the staircase just outside of the restaurant/cocktail bar Zaya (which has been many incarnations including Bar CDMX, V and Mas Malo). Provide them with a valid ID, as anybody over 21 should have a valid form of identification on them at all times, not just for driving or access to 21+ events or establishments, but for safety. And Seven Grand cares about everyone and their safety. They value their staff as much as their customers. And it shows in every way from thoughtful space in all directions, great pool tables, a whiskey, bourbon and scotch curated cocktail menu, even some good brew/beer. Awesome hallways with cabinet lockers, the cleanest restrooms, great dim dark warm lighting, fun fixtures and true DTLA vibes that feel old timey yet also very modern. Seven Grand is open to all and all are welcome. Stellar daily happy hour 4pm to 8pm. I love a good $10 Toki Highball at 5pm, but you can't go wrong with their classic old fashion also. All the bartenders are incredible as well as personable. S Grand is open every day from 4pm until 2am. Loads of lots close by as well as the Metro station at 7th and Metro. Though the trains currently stop just a little after midnight. Rideshare is also your friend, which now includes Waymo in the area. Discover Seven Grand also in San Diego, Austin or Denver. If planning an event you inquire with Stephen via email for personal parties, events with a budget and even corporate parties. They're very accommodating with a good amount of notice. When we had my boyfriend's birthday here they reserved a table for us and set us up with everything we needed. Thinking of having my next birthday here myself both at Seven Grand and Bar Jackalope (their hidden speakeasy). Support your awesome LA Whiskey Bar!

When we walked in, there was a tall, bald male bartender and a blonde female bartender working--neither of whom I've seen here before. We ordered two drinks, but the service from the male bartender was inattentive from the start. At one point, my friend tried to get someone's attention to ask for a lime and wasn't acknowledged. She ended up grabbing a lime herself from the garnish tray--which I understand isn't ideal--but the response we got was completely out of line. The male bartender became immediately hostile and started aggressively cursing at my friend. When I calmly asked the female bartender if this was normal behavior, he inserted himself into the conversation and said, "she put her fucking hand in the fucking jar," in a very confrontational tone. I tried to de-escalate the situation and respectfully explained that there was no reason to speak to us that way, but he continued the hostility and ultimately told us to "get the fuck out." At that point, I paid for our drinks and we left. What made this especially disappointing is that this has never been our experience here before. We've always enjoyed this bar and have had positive interactions with the regular staff. If this had been my first visit, I would not come back. I understand that what my friend did wasn't appropriate, but it absolutely did not justify being yelled at and cursed out. I hope management addresses this, because this kind of behavior is not reflective of the bar I've come to know.

He was friendly, welcoming, and gave us a great first impression. However, our experience afterward was disappointing. We waited nearly 20 minutes to be seated and another 20-30 minutes before anyone took our order. I understand that restaurants get busy, and we were trying to be patient because we could see the staff was overwhelmed. When we finally got our beer, I told our server, Noah, that I could pour it myself if that would help. Instead of explaining the situation politely, he responded with attitude and said, "You know I can't serve you guys, right?" I apologized, but then he told us, "Nah, you guys have to leave." This was frustrating after waiting so long just to place an order. We were never rude or disrespectful to the staff, so the interaction felt unprofessional and unnecessary. I completely understand being busy, but customer service should still be respectful. Unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression despite the great welcome we received from Nate.

In the same square mile there are things that bring you the ultimate levels of joy and gratification while also finding things that bring you sadness, or in some cases anger. Think about the traffic; oh that maddening traffic! However, life is better when spent focusing on the positive rather than the negative and one positive about Los Angeles is that there is no shortage of cool little nocks and crannies to fall into on any given night. One of these aforementioned nocks and/or crannies is Bar Jackalope, situated right in the heart of Downtown LA on 7th & Grand Ave. It offers one of my favorite features in life... a secret. It's tucked away behind an unassuming passage, posing as a hallway for the historic Seven Grand. When you walk in, you are greeted with Speakeasy decor and a wide variety of whiskey often difficult to find at other bars, even the ones with a large spirits selection. The cherry on top is that you can have a cigar with your whiskey, the way God intended, instead of just drinking like a savage. There are fewer joys in life than a good quality whiskey and a nice fat cigar that could give you a buzz even if you weren't drinking. But there is a caveat. Bar Jackalope is only open during prime time going-out days, think Thurs-Sun, so it is always busy and can be a hassle to deal with, even if you live in Downtown. In addition, although the place is filled with beautiful and fun people it is often too loud to have fun with someone you don't already know, unless body language is your modus operandi. What can I say, as I sit her indulging in the bliss of puffing some delicious smoke followed by drinking some delicious whiskey?
