Came for an after-dinner drink on a Tuesday night since it said the bar was open until 10pm. We were greeted in an aloof manner and initially felt as though we were intruding. However, after speaking with the bartender for a few moments, we were informed that he was typically a server who was covering the bar and yet he made a great Oak Fashioned and was very attentive to our drinks. We were treated kindly and would come back on a busier night to get the full experience.

Wedge salad with blue cheese crumbles and dressing with crispy bacon bits, and crispy flavorful croutons

Tried this place for the first time. Came here for a presentation so dinner was paid for. Compared to presentations at other restaurants, there were no appetizers, but that could be on the part of the company that was paying. Portions are very small even for a presentation dinner. My steak was made, medium rare and very flavorful just too small. The mashed potatoes were nice and flavorful and creamy, but also too small of a portion. The bread pudding was on the sweeter side, but warm and comforting. The wedge salad had the perfect amount of blue cheese, crumbles and sauce, which helped me finish the entire salad. The croutons were crunchy and flavorful. Service was a bit on the slow side for our small party at five people. Their private event room can easily fit about 20 people. It has a nice view of the intersection of Shepherd and FoxHill.

In an unassuming parking lot you'll come across this bistro. Truthfully only came across it from word of mouth and personally I believe that to be the best advertisement. Dined here on a weekday and found the ambiance to be upscale yet relaxed. We had no reservation however we were quickly accommodated. The interior is stunning, their patio looked like the perfect place to catch up with some drinks and apps. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Quickly cleared our table between courses without making us feel rushed. Even who I believe to be the manager stopped by to check in on how we were liking everything, which is always a nice touch. As for what I ordered : - 10/10 cocktail that I can't remember the name of but it had vodka and grapefruit - Truffle fries : 10/10 just get these, you might not want to share so maybe order two - House made focaccia : 8/10 could of came out a little more warm, other than that it was amazing and the butter it was paired with was divine - Chicken plate 7/10 was very very good and paired nicely with the mashed potatoes and broccolini however I did have a rather hard time cutting into it because of the way it was rolled and it being a rather thick cut. But I still thoroughly enjoyed it for lunch the next day when I wasn't too worried about my cutlery skills lol It's been a while since I've rated a local restaurant 5 stars, and wow was this place worth the wait. Don't wait as long as I did to try it!

I must say the place lives up to the recommendations of my fellow Yelpers. The espresso martini was perfect and not over sugary, the Club Sandwich was the bomb and absolutely no complaints with the service. I appreciate the decor and calm atmosphere here...very laid back and peaceful. The interaction between the employees and myself is a pleasure, friendly people are always welcome. I'll have to return for the dinner hour and see what that experience will yield but until then I'll enjoy my lunch and appreciate the opportunity to share and enjoy myself.

I love this place so much. The service is phenomenal, the last time I was here we had the sweetest girl Maddy helping us. She was so attentive and even made us a cocktail based off of what we told her we liked and it ended up being one of my favorite cocktails ever! The outside patio is my favorite, I love that they have lounge options if you're just trying to hangout with friends and have a few drinks/appetizers. Other than the customized drink we had, the invisible plane is my second most favorite, I highly recommend if it's available! The food is good too, so far I've only ever had appetizers but their truffle fries and focaccia bread are so good! I always find myself looking forward to my visit!

Shrimp scampi, scallops and grilled octopus

Sat at the bar. Bartender very friendly. We had a verity of dishes. Oysters were good and fresh, grilled octopus was ok. I think it was over cooked for my taste but I really like the shrimp scampi also the scallops were good. Drinks were ok

My boyfriend and I had dinner here on Saturday. We had reservations but arrived a little early and was seated right away. Our waitress was attentive but gave us space to enjoy our meal. It was a lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Not too loud or crowded. The food was enjoyable. We got truffle fries as an appetizer and they were solid fries. Nothing too special. My Bolognese dish was absolutely amazing! I give it a 9 out of 10. It would have received a 10 out of 10 but the portion was a bit small for the price but I still loved the dish. My boyfriend got the Chicken Milanese dish. He said it was a little bit dry but good overall.

First time checking this out on recommendation of a friend who loved their mushroom risotto. Sadly, it was a special that wasn't on the menu anymore, so we had to pivot. Staff and manager were super nice and very attentive. The old fashioned drink was great. We started with the Arancini balls as an appetizer. The flavor was good, but they were cold in the middle. We sent them back, which I hate doing and they brought warmer ones. The cheese in the middle wasn't cold, but wasn't melted, so still not great. These are huge so if they were half the size, they might be able to get a melt and make them amazing. I did the Bronzino and it was a fish on a plate looking at me. Fish was super fresh and the chimichurri sauce was amazing. The fish did have a lot of bones to pick through so I didn't love that. The star of the night was the Chicken Marsala. It was hands down the best I have ever had. Chicken was moist and flavor incredible. We liked it so much I ordered one for my mom. We would definitely like to return and try more things.

Super excited to have a new restaurant in Fresno with insanely delicious food. The staff was great and attentive. The restaurant is very nice and the bar is really nice. Everything we had was cooked to perfection. The branzino was our favorite item that we ordered. It was cooked so nicely and the fish was tender and juicy. The executive chef Ana has really created a delicious menu!

This place is absolutely lovely on the inside, you can definitely tell the new owner put money into it. Unfortunately the food was just average, and way overpriced for what I experienced. In addition, the environment is very loud and feels more like a sports bar, then a fine dining establishment I went to this place on a Thursday night with some friends. We were immediately seated, and we were greeted by a very friendly waitress. We ordered our food, and that's when things started to be weird. First off, the staff seemed to be very confused with what they were doing. Over the course for our meal we had many different staff ask us 7 times for the plates and cups that we had on the table. Normally not a problem, but our glasses were half full, and we were clearly still eating off our plates. Additionally, a young woman brought an entrée out, and instead of walking around the table, she chose to reach over me to put the plate on my far left. By doing this, she essentially threw her breasts in my face. While a lot of guys wouldn't complain about this, to me this just shows how poorly the wait staff has been trained. Normally I would expect for an appetizer to come out before the entrées, but not at this place. Every entrée come out before every our appetizers. Again, just weird. The focaccia was thick, doughy and heavy, nothing like what a focaccia should taste like But, at least it was bread. The octopus was cooked perfectly and when mixed with all of the other elements on the plate, the flavor profile was wonderful. However it's really hard to get excited about a plate, when the chef can't seem to cook fingerling potatoes. The potatoes were still raw. The beet salad was wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone trying this place. The raviolis were perfectly cooked however the butter sauce was completely broken and just an oily mess. Very disappointing. All things together, this just wasn't that great of an experience. There are places with better atmosphere, and better food for the price.

Pros: Neat and clean dinning area. Service was okay Food was alright Cons: Food a bit pricey for portion size and quality. Took a while for food to come out.

I had higher hopes for this establishment when they took over the location where Vino Grille & Spirits once was. The ambiance is almost spot on the upper lounge vibe, I would say not much was changed inside. The menu was limited waitress said they removed a few items. I ordered the duck breast with pistachio and wild rice. The portion is a petite size with two slices of duck breast. The flavors although good the duck was tough to cut. My husband's Cavatelli Pasta was al dente and best described as an upscale hamburger helper. He was very disappointed. The Hamachi Crudo appetizer described as a shareable was good but not meant for two that may be why we only got one set of chopsticks. Now the service needs alot of work. Our waitress brought us one set of chopsticks for a shareable appetizer. She began with not what the specials are but what's nolonger on the menu. For dessert she described how we are in for a treat the large event group has leftover bread pudding they say we can have! Yes she's offering us leftovers. No we will not be in again or recommend this place to our neighbors or bring our friends.

Anyways, with regards to the food, my partner and I got some spicy baked mussels to share, with a ribeye steak and lamb chops for entrees. The mussels were pretty underwhelming - I felt that it was just spicy for the sake of being spicy and didn't offer much in terms of flavor. With the entrees, we asked for the lamb chops to be cooked medium but they came rare, whereas the steak did come in medium rare as ordered. The lamb chops were okay but the steak was extremely salty and a bit too charred; I had to wash down my bites with water. With both entrees we were given a choice of either rice pilaf or garlic baked potatoes. The rice pilaf legit tasted like elementary school lunch rice (the ones with the teriyaki meat patties if you recall the 2000s, iykyk). The potatoes were alright, not bad but not great. Also wanted to note that both dishes came with like 2-3 tiny cherry tomatoes which is barely anything and would last you at most a couple of bites. Last thing I wanted to note is pricing. The lamb chops were in the upper $30s and the steak was $59, which pretty overpriced imo for whay is presented. Of course, that's also on me for trying to go for a "16 oz" steak (which I kinda doubt it was) vs. their pastas or other popular dishes but I think it's worth pointing out. All in all, I really think you can get much better bang for your buck at other semi-fancy/fancy places such as LimeLite or Willow Osteria to name a couple of examples. I would give this a 1 but the service was admittedly quite solid. Sadly, I don't think we'll come back.

Food is really good, a little pricey but good. The last 3 Fridays our company have been reserving the outdoor tables and we have to say, our interaction with our favorite waitress ms Sarah has made a big different on how we spend our Fridays now. Not only is she very attentive to our needy group, we love her spunky personality, and appreciate her taking the time to making sure all allergy is top priority (myself nuts, shellfish and dairy). We appreciate happy hour specials and never once prior we had a waitress go through the menu mentioning specials until God sent Ms Sarah. I personally love the seasonal cocktail menu and always excited to try them. What really stood out the most in the last visit being just my husband and our 2 little ones are the little things Ms Sarah does like bringing out stickers for my girls and closed container drinks. Having the crust cut off the grilled cheese for my baby girl and bringing out a surprise birthday sundae for my oldest daughter. Ending the night with my favorite buttercake pudding. The girls went on and on about ms Sarah and how they like her so much and love her beautiful nails. Sunday, i came by for a quick bite with one of my girlfriends, I had an incident where I had order pad Thai and when it arrived to my table, ms Sarah walked up to say hello, she was not our waitress that evening and said "Aren't you allergic to nuts?! Why yes! Yes I am! I don't want to get anyone in trouble for negligence but yes I am deadly allergic to peanuts and the pad Thai is full of peanut sauce. Talk about A CLOSE ONE! My girlfriend and I switch dinner. Long story short, it takes simply less than 10 seconds to ask about an allergy nd like I said, god sent Ms Sarah to the rescue! Beside the close call to heaven, Thank you The point for making your restaurant so special to not only for my business but a happy place for my family. Based on the atmosphere alone, this place is amazing. I absolutely love the vibe and setup of this restaurant/ bar. The staff is welcoming , and there are plenty of drink options available. Unfortunately, that is where the fun stops. The menu is too basic for a nice place like this. You will find standard bar options like burgers, sandwiches, and so on. However, places like Yard House do it better. The Point Patio is too nice to have food this boring. For a starter, I opted for the bruschetta which was just ok. I did appreciate the little kick of spice in their version. For dinner, I opted for the short rib tacos and they were pretty sad. Think street tacos with shredded meat , cabbage and salsa. Meh. These little tacos were served with a handful of tortilla chips and salsa. Thank goodness we got a side of sweet potato fries to supplement our meal. The fries saved the day because that aioli sauce was great! I am disappointed. When I walked in , I thought this was going to be a dining experience. Instead , i was wondering if there are any restaurants in Fresno that combine this type of environment -with food that actually tastes good.

They only serve beer, wine, and mead, but hard liquor folks do not worry... mead is essentially the hard liquor of the beer world, but tastes way better and at 20%, you'll drink way less! Their taps offer local beers and an array of imports from all over the world. I also learned that they are one of two bars in the entire Fresno/Clovis area that actually serves Guinness on tap! During my visit, the bartender suggested a something unique; a mixture of two different beers. I cannot remember their names for the life of me, but one was a peanut butter scout mixed with a purple-ish beer from house of Pendragon.
