Decided to give this place a try since I've driven by it a few times. Ordered lasagna and carbonara, they were good but not amazing. The restaurant felt more like a bar. I would say it's Casual dining good for families. I would return for drinks and to try the pizza.

    Brushetta, flavorless.

This place has a sports bar-type atmosphere, which is great if that is what you're looking for. I was hoping for more of a medium/high-end Italian restaurant based on previewing their menu. The service was great from Matthew, but getting our food did take longer than expected. We ordered bruschetta, a large pizza, chicken Alfredo pasta, and lasagna. The lasagna was the highlight, and the bruschetta was disappointing. It had very little flavor, and the bread was sliced way too thick. The pizza had great potential but needed to be cooked for another 5 minutes or so; it was a Chicago crust that was barely beige. The pasta came with soup or salad, and the Italian wedding soup was excellent Maybe they just had an off night with the pizza and pasta flavors?

Was looking for a place to watch Monday Night Football and boy did I find a great local spot run by a family. Sat at the bar and was welcomed like a regular. They have a craft cocktail menu but I just stayed with beer. Started with bruschetta and my only knock was it was a bit dry and needed a little olive oil drizzled over the top. The antipasto salad was good but the real star was the pizza. You can pick chose many options or make your own which I did. You can pick your crust, sauce and toppings. Could not think of a better meal to watch a game with. The entire staff was friendly and felt welcoming. Will be back!!!

The service is always so amazing at Michelangelo's. My fiancé and I love going there for date nights. We always have the bartenders surprise us with drinks- they've all been so good! The food ‍ for starters their SALAD yes, the salad is soooooo good!! For dinner I had lasagna and my fiancé had a special lasagna plate. I like crushed peppers on my lasagna without even asking the server asked if I wanted some, I was shook lol Drinks we had 98 degrees and an old fashioned

This restaurant never disappoints, it is so cute, family owned, and has delicious food and a nice selection of drinks! Friendly and personable service, we were welcomed immediately and getting there right at 4pm for dinner we were sat right away, I love not fighting the crowded dinner crowd. We got 1 medium pizza for the kids and I got the linguini shrimp dinner with garden salad & bread! So hot and tasty, my kids loved the pizza, 5 out of 5 stars from them as well. Highly recommend this hidden jewel on Old Town Clovis

I finally had time to try this place out. Not bad. Not amazing. Walking in you have the left and right side. Right side was more casual dinner setting. Left side was bar area with high top seating and a few booths towards the back. Service: service was amazing! Everyone was so nice and greeting. My drink was never empty and we had all the condiments and requests met. Super great team and I thank you all for a great first experience. Food: needs another two minutes. The pasta, along with the pizza needed another 2 min of cook time. I think the tortellini I has was a little bit on the undercooked side. Luckily I had the recommended meat sauce and the center of the bowl was a little more cooked sitting under the sauce. The flavor was great, just the texture of the pasta needed a little more time on the boil. The pizza was the same. Needed a little more time through the oven, the dough was essentially like a thin bread. It needed a little more sauce as well. There always just a small amount and it ended up being a little dry. Ok wings! I see you! This was a hit. The bartender even said eating them without sauce would be amazing. I'm a believer! They hit the spot. I got ranch and hot bbq and it also made the flavor enhance. Seasoning on those are perfect and well balanced. Italian wedding soup was good. It was a safe bet if you didn't want salad. I'd eat a huge bowl if I had the appetite for it! Ok, garlic cheese bread was disappointing. The bread was not toasted or warm. It was very bland and felt like a soft French roll with cheese and a little garlic. I'd definitely perfect that. It has potential. I could see it better and sell a small cup of marinara to dip. Overall, a great experience. I'm giving it a 4 because it has room for improvement on the cook time. I'm definitely coming back. Maybe asking for that extra two minutes on the boil time.

This place is my favorite when it comes to service, pizza and wings! Food comes with so much flavor but not over the top. The chicken wings are fried to perfection and no sauce needed! I could probably eat a few orders of them by myself. We've had the same server twice now and she is so wonderful. I'll have to update my review with her name the next time. She is always friendly and extremely personable. Both times, she told us stories about her family and asked about ours. I feel like we're friends now. Lol. Definitely a place I can go back to when I'm craving pizza and wings!

We went on a busy night, they got seated quickly. The service and food were good. Will definitely come back.

First timer here! My partner had been raving about this place for quite some time. The best old fashioned and the spaghetti pizza is delicious. I finally went on a Friday night. It was busy. It would be a perfect spot to watch football Sunday! The staff are nice and attentive. The bar area is self sitting, which is pretty big. They have an outdoor patio and as well as another room. They have a menu for appetizers and drinks, and another menu for food. I ordered a bloody jet (seasonal drink) and it was good. I tried my partner's old fashioned and it was smooth. For food I ordered the Frida and it was so good!! The ingredients make a great combo. I tried the spaghetti pizza and was impressed. I thought it was just going to taste like a simple red sauce with pasta, but it didn't. Much better than that! If you haven't been here yet, try it out and get the spaghetti pizza!

First time there and had the best customer service experience! Omar, the owner's son was our server, my wife mentioned that it was our first time there and it was all VIP service from there. JR, the owner, welcomed us to his restaurant but it felt like he welcomed us to his family- which by the way is a family based and also ran by family! Visiting from Riverside and I can't wait for me next visit. The pizza and pasta was fresh and homemade with unique flavors. Must try if you're in town!

Italian wedding soup, not the most aesthetic photos, very good though.

very happy we stopped by here tonight! We've had pizza before, but this time we came to sit at the bar. I ordered a phenomenal pasta dish called the Fettuccine Calabrese. Definitely the star of the show tonight. Our bartender Adrian was very attentive and kind! Knew what'd we want and it was great. The pasta comes with a choice of Soup or Salad. I got Italian wedding soup it was delicious! I've always wanted to try. My boyfriend ordered the pizza but next time we plan on splitting the pasta (it could fit two comfortably) Drinks were great but pricy! Food was perfect and I look forward to my left overs.

Other party members had salmon salads and another roll- they said it was very good. The whiskey flights and selection were pretty cool. I only tried a couple and they were nice. Our flight was ~$50 and we got another whiskey after that along with a lemon drop (very smooth 8/10). With 6 appetizers for the table, 3 rolls, udon with tempura, miso soup, 3 desserts, whiskey flight, 2oz whiskey, coke, iced tea, strawberry lemonade, wings, and chicken salad + the 20% mandatory gratuity for a large party and tax, we spent just over $600. So pretty dang expensive, but we enjoyed the food and ambience. The service was decent- not amazing, not poor. Overall, we were happy and will be going back for more whiskey flights soon.

Like Taco Bell, you pay in advance. Unlike Taco Bell, you are expected to leave a tip (for service), before you realize you will receive no service. Choose your own seating, call up the QR code (which asks you to enter your phone number, but you can work around that) and then gives you a sterile list for a menu. It's a distillery, but do not talk to the bartender. Order a margarita from the (surprisingly inexpensive) Taco Tuesday menu and it comes with a hard, dried citrus something floating on top that adds nothing to the experience of the drink (but does eliminate the need for the bartender to keep a fresh supply of citrus on hand). Otherwise, the margarita tastes OK. Not great. Your beet salad will not be "dressed" because that would take effort. Instead the dressing will be drizzled across the top and not even really touch the greens. Your burger will probably be tasty, as my husband's was. Your sweet potato taco will probably have too many raw onions across the top but otherwise be tasty as mine was. You will not interact with anyone other than your table companions. Even with his tasty burger, my husband called it a "soulless experience." Because the food itself seems to be decently cooked (though with minimal effort), this may be your spot if you are good with Taco Bell.

Maybe because I had my beautiful daughters with me and they took all the great attention. It was 2 weeks after my oldest daughter birthday but somehow our male waiter said I heard it was somebody's birthday and I said yes. My daughter's birthday was not long ago. So they treat her with a belated birthday celebration. It was so nice from him. So, when we got there we ordered our drinks and right after we got the drinks we ordered our food. My grandbaby ordered the chicken tenders with fries from the kids menu. My youngest love their burger. My oldest got the filet Mignon with mushrooms and fresh salad. I got my usual the veggie sandwich with fries. The waiter brought us everything but the filet Mignon. It was taking a while to be cooked. So he gravely left offered my daughter complimentary soup to mitigate the wait. And she got it. So she was satisfied too. I so loved the veggie sandwich on a wheat bread. I just love all the fresh veggies they put in there. It had mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes. With some mayo. Also the fries were very crispy. I really love it. My oldest mention she loved the soup and the salad. She kind of ate a little bit of the filet Mignon and mushrooms. She took the left over home. She mention the meat was so juicy and well seasoned. It was so tender and tasty. The dessert they brought us for free and the soup.
