    Pork belly with burrata
    Alex Z.

Best meal I had in Glacier area. it was a long wait but it wasnt bad, there are some tables outside. the hostess said there was no wait before 6pm, not sure if it applies to everyday but if you dont have a reservation and wants to eat early without wait, it's worth a try. I was seated upstairs, our waiter was super friendly and very patient to explain the dishes and recommend some good dishes for us to try. I had the pork chop which is one of the most popular dish here. Usually i dont go for pork chop but they cook really well and the sauce is very well done with sweet and savory taste to it. the bacon burrata appetizer was just ok, dont think they actually go together well. my partner had the bison fettuccine, its really flavorful with large chunks of bison and a lot of meat.

We arrived around 7pm on a Monday and our wait was 20 minutes. There were many more people waiting as we exited after our meal so be patient. It's worth it. We split a garden salad with the bread service to start. They split the salad for us which was great. The bread was served warm with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Very good. It I chose the trout which was amazing. It had a nice light spice on top and came with broccoli and polenta. It was so good. Very happy with my choice. Husband had the bison fettuccine. It was a huge portion and I had a couple of bites. Also very good. It had a nice rich taste. We decided to get dessert and opted for the crème brûlée. Perfect choice that wasn't too heavy after so much food. It was a lovely place with a loft, smaller bar, and lower level seating with high and low table options. The bartender ended up being our server as our table was near the bar and he was excellent. Great stop.

We hit this place on our last night in town and it was our dining high point. The menu is fantastic; I had the walleye and my wife had the ribeye. Our server Aaron was prompt, courteous and professional. If we ever visit Columbia Falls again we'll certainly dine here again.

Went here on a whim looking for some nice fish after going to the glacier park and this place did not disappoint! We were going to go somewhere else for trout but this place caught our eye with its fresh fish and locally sourced produced. Thursday night no reservations for a party of 3 took about a 40 minute wait, which is totally okay because we didn't have a reservation and we walked around the town. The host, Lily, was super friendly and made sure to pronounce my name right! The small things especially being a minority visiting in a town out here was very nice and she got us seated with waters and we didn't have to wait any longer than the estimated time. Our server whose name I did not get checked in once and took our orders, but I overheard Erin tell the other tables the specials and he seemed like such a charismatic person! He kept our water refilled and was very friendly. I had to ask our server about the specials, but it was a busy night and I'm there for the food so all good! The food was SO yummy! I had the salmon special myself. It was a pan seared salmon with roasted vegetables and I believe it's a polenta cake that was so good. Well balanced and the fish was cooked perfectly. The sauce wasn't overwhelming on the fish and was very pleasant. I tried the salad which I thought had a nice summer brightness to it with the blueberry balsamic I think it was, and the trout from their regular menu was also cooked nicely, but I loved my salmon for sure and would recommend trying their fish dishes. Would love to try their bison fettuccine if I get the chance to!

What a wonderful restaurant! We showed up 20 minutes before closing. They were very gracious and allowed us to join the waiting list. They are willing to seat people right up to closing and then do not rush you to leave. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the Bison fettuccine. It was so good!

Greek salad and side of fries

We didn't have a reservation and waited about 10 minutes. We were able to get drinks at the bar and sit out front and wait. We were sat upstairs and it was a cozy environment. Our server was very friendly, funny, and attentive even though he was busy with tables both up and downstairs. We got a Greek salad to start and my friend and I split it. It was pretty big. It came with a yogurt Greek dressing that was just ok. I got the trout for my entree. It was interesting and had lots of fancy additions like zucchini cakes, peach salsa of sorts. The fish was a little undercooked in some parts but otherwise it was good.

Wow, the Three Forks Burger was incredible! If you're a garlic lover, definitely ask for extra--it paired perfectly with the Gorgonzola cheese. The pork chop with bacon jam was also delicious. Great service all around, and I'd absolutely come back. Don't forget to ask about their specials!

Grilled Flathead Lake Trout with Broccoli and Polenta
    Jordan B.

This might be the best trout I've ever had. I believe it's sourced locally from Flathead Lake. The sauce on the fish is top-notch, and the broccoli has an incredible amount of flavor. It's a refreshing and light dish. The atmosphere is great, with paintings hung up and the restaurant feeling very clean. Service was also excellent. Well done!

    Trout, polenta and broccolini.

Service was friendly and courteous but food took quite awhile to arrive. Wait staff was very attentive while we were waiting. Trout was tasty but the pistachio sauce overpowered the beautiful fish and the broccolini was too hard to cut and polenta was cold.

Good food excellent service. Dined solo and was not forced to be seated at the bar service was nicely paced - didn't feel rushed. Waiter was very accommodating when I decided to order dessert because of a mini burst storm! Also prices were reasonable .

Peach feta salad... they forgot the feta initially, but the dressing is fab!

Strawberry and Walnut salad - refreshing and tasty. Burnt ends - meh I've had much better. If you're really jonesin for some I guess they're OK. Curry chicken salad pita - it was okay but lacked depth. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Sweet potato fries were definitely worth the upgrade however! Regular fries had an odd aftertaste. Just get the sweet potato upgrade. Caesar and burger I heard were good. The best thing this place has going for it imo is their homemade ranch dressing! Wow very good. Fresh and tasty, everything ranch should be. Tbh very disappointed with this place. It was overly packed with people, had poor signage that YOU HAVE TO ORDER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RESTAURANT - THEY WILL NOT COME TO YOUR SEAT! Our "waiter" gave us water and cleaned the table but never told us this so we waited 20 min and would have waited another hour if we didn't figure it out. AND you have to order drinks at a separate place outside. My biggest gripe food wise is that the Mac and Cheese looked REALLY good but they don't offer it other than as an entrée. Poor move imo as a restaurant move! Servers were very rude as well. It is cool they have outside live music I must say and the ambiance is cool. Conversely, I do have to say my wife thought this was her favorite food so far in MT for what that's worth. In the future, I'd rather head across the street to North Fork Pizza than risk going back here. The pizza smelled diviiiiine from outside!

I ate half my omelet out of hating to waste food, but I feel like they wasted it, not me. The eggs were paper-thin and dry, with the sliced American cheese and cubed ham adding a ton of salt. I prefer well seasoned food, but this was too much. Three stars also might seem like too much, but the bacon was exquisite in quality and preparation, my husband's sunny-side-up eggs were perfect, the coffee was good and hot (even if the service was a bit chilly) and the people watching was excellent. NB: I don't "people watch" with contempt; I care about people. I particularly like to see regular visitors enjoying themselves. That morning we had two older gentlemen meeting for breakfast and Bible study; a quiet interaction between people engaged in sobriety support; a young family trying to wrangle little ones and mostly succeeding; and what appeared to be a trucker taking a late breakfast before hitting the road. All of these could have been regulars from my childhood and I enjoyed the ambiance very much. My family used to go to the Nite Owl in the late 70s / early 80s for rare restaurant dinners. Their Chef's Salad was my favorite treat at the time, and I really savored it. Before moving away from the Valley a few years later, I started ordering breakfasts and they were also grand: fluffy omelets rich with cheese, crispy hash browns...a real treat. Revisiting last week it was not the same. Too bad.

I, however, do not. What is a diner to do when, with other diners, their meal is served and it is way over salty? Send it back and hope that the pot of soup and sandwich ingredients are not already heavily salted? That could work if you have the time to wait for a new meal. Perhaps it would not be a good choice if you did not want to appear overly fussy/picky to the other diners. A diner can always add more salt to their food, but they cannot take it out of their meal. This food was too salty for me. Thus my rating of "Could've been better." PS: I thought it was kind of funny that a basket of saltine crackers was also served.

We ordered the Tot-chos (half order to share among six people) and I also got a huckleberry soda for myself as well as the bison (classic) burger with sweet potato fries. For dessert, we shared two scoops of huckleberry ice cream (from Sweet Peaks), the bread pudding and the beignets. I loved the Tot-chos, and the half order was honestly a pretty big size already! The huckleberry soda was pretty sweet (I think it had 41 grams of sugar), but I don't regret trying it. The bison burger wasn't bad, it definitely tasted similar to beef, but it was a huge burger so I couldn't finish it. The sweet potatoes were also delicious. In terms of the dessert, I had gone to Sweet Peaks already and liked their huckleberry flavor a lot, so I was excited to see them on the menu. People at my table loved the bread pudding. I thought the beignets were not bad, but they weren't as good as the other desserts.
