We really love this buffet, but we were disappointed by one thing. Since we were a party of 7, they automatically added an 18% gratuity to the bill. We always tip wherever we go, but it felt a bit much to be charged that just for bringing us sodas -- 18% on a $200+ bill adds up quickly. Nondescript from the outside. Inside, I wondered if I had accidentally gone to City Buffet, because it looks almost exactly the same. Same layout and decor, pretty much the same items. Which is a good thing, but weird- if I were City and they don't own this, I'd sue for trademark infringement. Loads of sushi up front, fresh, deep fried, you name it. Most of my first plate came from there. The toro was good-not-great, but I didn't expect excellence. The rest were pretty good. Next buffet table over was cold salads, and something I didn't recognize which turned out to be pickled chicken feet. I tried one. Not my thing. Several hot tables, all the usual suspects, plus a couple of dishes that were new to me but fell well within the standard assortment. Steak was a little tough. Everything hot and nicely flavored. I stuffed myself, passed on the dessert and fruit table. Service was great, quick drink refills and plate removal, friendly server. Clean place, obviously plenty of parking. The Feast Buffet occupies the space at Carriage Place that was formerly a Petland. An Asian buffet at Petland is hilarious to me, but anyways. The Feast has a standard Chinese buffet, a sushi station (that's pretty decent for a buffet), and a made to order pho & stirfry station. I really enjoy their made to order pho station. I honestly think their pho is better than some of the other pho restaurants in town. One point of improvement though is that on the order sheet for pho, what they list as "triple beef" is actually beef tripe. I've tried both their weekday buffet and their slightly more expensive weekend buffet. The food selection is pretty similar for both. The only differences in food choices I noticed was the weekend buffet adds baked oysters and swaps out steamed brown crabs for salt & pepper fried blue crabs. I would strongly recommend their weekend buffet over their weekday buffet though, because the weekend buffet is much busier and it allows for the food to be eaten and remade quicker. For the weekday buffet, some of the items were lukewarm and appeared to have been sitting out for a while. I've noticed that other reviewers have said similar things about their weekday buffet. I would say 5/5 for the weekend buffet and 3/5 for the weekday buffet for an average of 4/5. read more

I have been looking for a new Asian buffet and I found it. It is located in the Carriage place shopping center so there is plenty of parking. I visited at lunch time so the price is cheaper. The first thing you notice upon entering is a bunch of cute figures in a large display. The restaurant bright and looks nice. There is plenty of seating for dining. Once inside the Sushi bar is right up front, You can choose to make your own or get the Sushi that is made by the chefs. There is plenty of dishes to choose from, so make sure your stomach is empty. I ate too much and did not leave room for dessert. Several different kinds of ice cream,fresh fruit and Asian desserts. The wait staff was very nice at the overall atmosphere was great. read more

Ok. Now I'm going to preface this mid review with this: if you love Chinese Americanized food, this is absolutely the buffet for you. Pros: it's very clean and very busy so the food is being prepared constantly. The selection is pretty good, also. There's plenty of hot roots and different sushi and sashimi. The service we had was great - nice and attentive. The weekday lunch price is significantly cheaper than the weekend or evenings. That's why we went on a Friday for lunch (~ $17 each). My favorite bites were the chicken skewers, butter chicken, mushrooms in oyster sauce, and the green beans. The pho broth is delightful - that was a great surprise! Cons: It's so mid, you guys. I haven't been to a Chinese buffet in a billion years, but had to try it since it's new. It's exactly what it should be, but my tastes have changed since the last time I had a buffet. If that's what you're after, please go because they do it very well! Just don't expect much strong flavor or any spice. It's nice and big with lots of seating. There is a 90-minute limit on your visit, which is just one of many rules (weirdly unwelcoming to see upon entering). We had a friendly young guy as our server, but some of the hostesses weren't very friendly - like wouldn't get out of anyone's way when they were trying to sit or pass by. Just a mood and I don't love that. Anyway. There's a lot of good for what's on offer, and I would recommend it with those caveats. Went on a Friday night. It wasn't too busy, The place was very clean, well staffed. The sushi and sashimi was filled with a variety of options. I mostly stuck to the sushi and sashimi station and definitely ate my money's worth of salmon, tuna, and yellowtail sashimi. In my opinion, the Chinese food station (chow mein, fried rice, teriyaki chicken) and warm seafood (steamed fish, mussels, crab) is pretty standard buffet food I would skip. Came here the other day to eat. The service was good and they constantly came by to clear our dishes and check on our drinks. The food was a hit or a miss. The blue crab and stone crab were my favorite. Some of the hot food was good. The crawfish was definitely dry and frozen, not fresh. The sushi was good. The sauce bar was hidden in the back by the restrooms and didn't realize was there until someone told me about it. Wow, this buffet is huge. You will pay around $30 a person, however this buffet goes above and beyond. If you love sushi this is the place for you. Everything is made fresh. They also have all the Asian buffet favorites including fish, soft shell crab, frog legs etc. You also can go to the pho area and have them make you fresh soup by checking off the items on the sheet provided and they also have a hibachi section as well. You just go up to the bar, select your raw meat and vegetables and put on a plate and they will cook it for you. They also have a dessert bar and ice cream station which has individual ice cream cups! You don't have to worry about kids sticking there fingers in your lol it's clean and sparkly. read more

I was at the City Buffet the other day, at checkout, the lady at the front told me to go tried Feast Buffet, she said is the same owner, she said she don't know where I live, maybe is closer. I went there yesterday, the design and layout exactly the same as city buffet. When I walked in, 3 server standing at the front, one looked at me like I just interrupted their conversation, no smile, nothing. I don't feel the welcome, but is okay. Seated, walked around see the food options, a little different than city buffet, but some different, like I notice they have the Chinese chicken herb soup, which have no taste at all, I mean none. lol I later went online and read why this place only had 3 stars, I think those are small problem, can be fix easily. First, all the server needs to be retrained or fire, they added just like those low end Chinese restaurants, you know the one that hardly speak English and talk to you like they demanding things from you. The whole time I was there, no one come check on me, only refill my drink one time. Service definitely bad. Food: I felt like whoever the chef back in the chicken is so afraid to put taste into the food, or he don't have any skills at all, some food have no taste at all. I tried their dim sum, the skins are all dried up, I think they needs to input those into those steamed baskets, so they won't dry up. Chicken wings which is what I loved, dry. So overall, I give this place 4 stars, have some issue, but can fix easily Will I go back? Probably not. You can't view White Castle through the same critical lens as Hyde Park - it's not fair and it doesn't work. The food at The Feast is good. Heck, I usually eat $25 bucks of sushi as my appetizer. But I avoid the "weird" things. No cold mini conch shells for me. Just say "no". Then I have $25 bucks of steak at the fresh hibachi grill. Then I hit the hot buffet and have a tasting menu of normal Chinese restaurant dishes. Then I have some fresh fruit or ice cream for dessert. I've eaten here 4 times. My father has eaten here 3 times. My wife (who generally doesn't enjoy Chinese food) has eaten here 2 times. We had Family Dinner here on Sunday and brought 8 people. It is not the very best sushi I've ever had, but it's plentiful and plenty good. It's not the very best hibachi I've ever had, but it's plentiful and plenty good. The more typical hot dishes are also plentiful and plenty good. All-in-all - The Feast offers awesome variety and a great bargain, if you eat up. First to arrive on a Sunday. Glad we did bc it got very busy right after our arrival. First, the food selection was pretty decent and we tried plate after plate of seafood, chicken, beef, and sushi. The dim sum was just ok but that's what you get out of the frozen box. Was surprised though we were one of the first ones there, some of the dishes were lukewarm not hot. Did not try the hibachi bc we loaded up on the big selection of food. Caution about the soup selection...the bowls are there but you have to go over to a station to get a soup spoon. I spent most of my eats on the fried and steamed shrimp. Again if you're looking for seafood sauce you have to go to the sauce station against the back wall. Ice cream is frozen cups though they did have orange sherbet. The waitresses do come around often to clear your plates. $26.99pp and soda/tea was $2.99 each. The ambiance when you first walk in raises your expectations. You notice a sign that limits patrons to a 90 minute visit. The interior seems spacious and clean. After being seated you begin to notice the first impression starts to fade. The selection is spread out to appear larger than it actually is. The typical buffet food tastes either bland or a little dry and stale. For a weekend afternoon, about 15 to 20% of the selections were low or out. Nothing stood out as extraordinary or particularly good. The cooks and the staff seemed bored and uninterested. The price was outrageous for the quality and variety offered. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this Asian Buffet when there are better (and more economical) to chose from just minutes away. read more

Worst buffet i have ever been to!!! Got there 5 minutes after the cutoff time to pay $16.99. So we had to pay $25.99 a person. 2 kids 4 & 7 and they go by height?? So we had to pay $13 each for them. I would have been ok with it. But most of the food was old and dried out! If I'm paying that much for food, I want it fresh! Took them half an hour to get Mac and cheese out for the kids, and when we got there, there was very little of it, and it was all dry! I can't tell you about the sushi or seafood because I don't eat it. There was lots of other stuff there i could have ate, but it was all dry and hard . They also automatically add an 18% gratuity for parties of 5 or more. So, our bill was $186.00 for 4 adults and 2 kids and we all left there still hungry. Never again!!! read more

Went on a Friday night and wow it was packed. We were able to get a table pretty fast and the staff were very nice and friendly. I was very happy with the selection from sushi, vegetarian and meat selections. Also had a very nice dessert selection. One thing to note is that on busy days they tend to be slower refilling some of the stations but other than that I would definitely come again. There's good and bad about this place. First, it was pretty clean and the service people were always coming by- a little too often, really. The steak part of the Hibachi Grill was delicious and tender, but they cooked it all the same way- well done. The tiny cakes were delicious; especially the mango mousse. There was a big selection of fruits. Of the sushi selections, about half were good; the rest average or not-so-good. There were no cellophane noodles which is always the base of my meal, and the Egg Drop soup that I usually love was tasteless. I tasted zero egg yolk, and the soup's yellow color was very artificial looking. But over-all there was a decent selection of food, especially seafood. Unfortunately a lot of the other meat proteins were dry and overcooked. The bad part for us was one of the employees returned our check and credit card after taking it to the front, saying we had to fill in the tip amount. She was pretty demanding in voice and body language, so we calmly explained we were going to leave a tip on the table when we got up. She stood in a little bottleneck we had to pass through to get to the door, just staring. Creepy. When we started to leave she said loudly, "Hey, you forget cash?? Where the money?!" She was nasty about it and made everyone in earshot uncomfortable. I'm a little old lady and I'm embarrassed to say she kinda scared me. We went back and retrieved the tip and told her "no tip tonight". I felt kinda bad until I remembered she wasn't one of the busier employees, and didn't do much except clear a plate or two... and spread her negativity around. I've personally been to better buffets that were cheaper, so I won't be going back. BUT... if you like a variety of "pretty good" sushi, or pho and hibachi stations, you just may enjoy this restaurant. Some of the best pho I've tasted in Columbus. Customers choose what they want inside the pho. Plenty of choices for sushi which includes options of raw fish without the rice. I liked the food and variety, but some items were missing such as crab legs, ice cream, and the fried rice didn't taste like fried rice. Another big fat con was the utensils for the Sushi. Sushi utensils were used for raw and cooked ones, and I didn't find that to ro clean. I hope when I try for a second time those mistakes are fixed otherwise I will change my rate. The food at the restaurant was pretty good. Except once you're finished. Me and my son had to go to the restroom either by the time we got home or before we left the restaurant . This happened several different times I also noticed that one of the workers had a handful of bowls and dropped some of the bowls on the floor. He picked them up off the floor and put them onto the counter so people could use them I feel like if they're doing this. Its been done before. If you have to go to the bathroom before you leave or when you get home there's something that's not clean about that place so me and my son don't go there anymore I would have to say I wonder if the health department has been there because they certainly need to be called. The restaurant is beautiful the food is decent but the reaction afterwards what happens after eat is a different experience. For them to continue they need to be more cleaner about their dishes about clean hands or gloves when serving and about being clean themselves. The quality of food is about a 4.Nothing to Bragg about but decent. Where they shine is the variety. If you got a tablespoon of everything you still couldn't eat it all. The down side is the price. $27 for Sunday afternoon dinner. No drink. I simply cannot eat enough mediocre food to make it worth $27.
