The feast buffet just opened this last week and you need to give them a try if you're in the mood for an Asian inspired buffet! They have so many different options! A full fresh sushi bar, a made to order pho station & made to order hibachi! The buffet selection is extensive and delicious! The crab rangoons are delicious & they have great general tso's chicken & fried rice! I really enjoyed the teriyaki chicken skewers & the beef short rib! You can't go wrong with grabbing some sushi & I love to end my meals with the chocolate pudding!

The Feast Buffet occupies the space at Carriage Place that was formerly a Petland. An Asian buffet at Petland is hilarious to me, but anyways. The Feast has a standard Chinese buffet, a sushi station (that's pretty decent for a buffet), and a made to order pho & stirfry station. I really enjoy their made to order pho station. I honestly think their pho is better than some of the other pho restaurants in town. One point of improvement though is that on the order sheet for pho, what they list as "triple beef" is actually beef tripe. I've tried both their weekday buffet and their slightly more expensive weekend buffet. The food selection is pretty similar for both. The only differences in food choices I noticed was the weekend buffet adds baked oysters and swaps out steamed brown crabs for salt & pepper fried blue crabs. I would strongly recommend their weekend buffet over their weekday buffet though, because the weekend buffet is much busier and it allows for the food to be eaten and remade quicker. For the weekday buffet, some of the items were lukewarm and appeared to have been sitting out for a while. I've noticed that other reviewers have said similar things about their weekday buffet. I would say 5/5 for the weekend buffet and 3/5 for the weekday buffet for an average of 4/5.

I have been looking for a new Asian buffet and I found it. It is located in the Carriage place shopping center so there is plenty of parking. I visited at lunch time so the price is cheaper. The first thing you notice upon entering is a bunch of cute figures in a large display. The restaurant bright and looks nice. There is plenty of seating for dining. Once inside the Sushi bar is right up front, You can choose to make your own or get the Sushi that is made by the chefs. There is plenty of dishes to choose from, so make sure your stomach is empty. I ate too much and did not leave room for dessert. Several different kinds of ice cream, fresh fruit and Asian desserts. The wait staff was very nice at the overall atmosphere was great.

Ok. Now I'm going to preface this mid review with this: if you love Chinese Americanized food, this is absolutely the buffet for you. Pros: it's very clean and very busy so the food is being prepared constantly. The selection is pretty good, also. There's plenty of hot roots and different sushi and sashimi. The service we had was great - nice and attentive. The weekday lunch price is significantly cheaper than the weekend or evenings. That's why we went on a Friday for lunch (~ $17 each). My favorite bites were the chicken skewers, butter chicken, mushrooms in oyster sauce, and the green beans. The pho broth is delightful - that was a great surprise! Cons: It's so mid, you guys. I haven't been to a Chinese buffet in a billion years, but had to try it since it's new. It's exactly what it should be, but my tastes have changed since the last time I had a buffet. If that's what you're after, please go because they do it very well! Just don't expect much strong flavor or any spice. It's nice and big with lots of seating. There is a 90-minute limit on your visit, which is just one of many rules (weirdly unwelcoming to see upon entering). We had a friendly young guy as our server, but some of the hostesses weren't very friendly - like wouldn't get out of anyone's way when they were trying to sit or pass by. Just a mood and I don't love that. Anyway. There's a lot of good for what's on offer, and I would recommend it with those caveats. It will be I treating to see if it stays busy after the newness of it wears off.

Wow, this buffet is huge. You will pay around $30 a person, however this buffet goes above and beyond. If you love sushi this is the place for you. Everything is made fresh. They also have all the Asian buffet favorites including fish, soft shell crab, frog legs etc. You also can go to the pho area and have them make you fresh soup by checking off the items on the sheet provided and they also have a hibachi section as well. You just go up to the bar, select your raw meat and vegetables and put on a plate and they will cook it for you. They also have a dessert bar and ice cream station which has individual ice cream cups! You don't have to worry about kids sticking there fingers in your lol it's clean and sparkly.

First to arrive on a Sunday. Glad we did bc it got very busy right after our arrival. First, the food selection was pretty decent and we tried plate after plate of seafood, chicken, beef, and sushi. The dim sum was just ok but that's what you get out of the frozen box. Was surprised though we were one of the first ones there, some of the dishes were lukewarm not hot. Did not try the hibachi bc we loaded up on the big selection of food. Caution about the soup selection...the bowls are there but you have to go over to a station to get a soup spoon. I spent most of my eats on the fried and steamed shrimp. Again if you're looking for seafood sauce you have to go to the sauce station against the back wall. Ice cream is frozen cups though they did have orange sherbet. The waitresses do come around often to clear your plates. $26.99pp and soda/tea was $2.99 each. Have to say the food here was much better than Tokyo Buffet on Sancus in Polaris.

This is a honey rib, the only edible part was the tiny spot in the middle, the rest was so dried out you couldn't even chew through it

Better Chinese dishes than the other recently opened Asian buffets in Columbus. Good quality food.

Midway through my meal, they came around to light a candle at the table, which added such an intimate touch, and gave cozy date night energy in the best way. In fact, I believe I was sitting next to a couple having their first date. 2. Plating (4.5/5) The presentation did not disappoint. Everything came out looking polished and thoughtfully arranged. The edamame stood out because they generous with the flaky salt, which I personally loved. Sometimes places hold back, but this was well seasoned. 3. Customer Service (2.5/5) This is where things started to fall apart a bit. I stood at the front for about 12 minutes before being acknowledged, and the restaurant was nearly empty. I had to make eye contact with someone in the kitchen just to be seated. Service at the table wasn't much better. It took about 15 minutes just to get my drink order taken (which I had to flag the waitress down to order), and by that time I was ready to order my whole meal. I ordered an appetizer along with a couple of sushi rolls and some sake. I'm not sure if the waitress wasn't thinking about it, but she brought my rolls out before she even brought out my appetizer or my drink. The inconsistency was noticeable and took away from the experience. 4. Overall Taste (4.5/5) The food absolutely carried! I ordered a sweet potato roll and the Hoonie Roll, which ended up being my favorite part of the meal. Both were fresh, flavorful, and really well-balanced. Paired with the edamame and sake, everything came together nicely. 5. Overall Experience (3.9/5 ) Taking everything into account, the experience lands just under a 4. The food and atmosphere were strong, but the service created a noticeable disconnect. It's definitely one of those places where you'd go back for the food, but you'd hope the service catches up next time.

The first Oishii is far off my usual routes, so I haven't gotten there though I heard it's good…read more This one opened up near campus last week, much closer to me. And after that soft opening with a regular menu, this week they introduced an all-you-can-eat menu as well. So of course I got there as soon as I could. Quite an extensive menu for AYCE too, though not as big as their standard one. And full of interesting stuff. Nigiri, raw rolls, cooked rolls, deep-fried rolls, specialty rolls, apps, ramen, hibachi, and more. I wanted to try everything, but even though I arrived hungry I just couldn't. Maybe 25 years ago I could have eaten twice as much, and when the students hear about this they will clean them out. It's just down from where Japanese Oriental Restaurant used to be, and I used to save up and pig out there with my friends. Now I eat a bit less, but I still figure I had about $60 worth of sushi for $30. I started with seaweed salad- big portion, and very tasty. Fresh and a little spicy. Then unagi- two big pieces, excellent, tender and flavorful. Then maguro- good, melt in your mouth. Next I tried their "dragon eggs"- deep fried avocado with kani and tuna. OMG. Again, a big portion (two whole avocados, halved and stuffed. Finally, two big rolls: the High Street roll with spicy tuna, and the Seashore roll with salmon, kani, and more. Wow. Big, and tasty. Best sushi in town? No, but up there. Really good. Service was great. They open at noon, at least on weekdays, and I was the first one in. The decor is cool- it's an old house, and they have made it modern but with vintage touches. The bathrooms and waiting area are super cool. There's a bar off to one side, a sushi bar in back, and lots of sleek but comfy seating. Also a huge patio and courtyard out front. Free street parking out front (except during rush hour.) Also a small lot in back. Get here. If you like sushi, or other Japanese food, you'll like it. If you like a bargain, you'll love it. $27, yes, not cheap; but for sushi it's not bad, and for AYCE sushi it is a steal. A cool place to hang out, not far from campus, and drink, and eat good food till you're stuffed.

Atmosphere was modern and soothing. You can get ramen, cooked dishes like tempura, salads, all kinds of things. There's a full bar as well, and areas with cozy or romantic seating. The design was actually pretty cool, you could eat with a group or sit up at a bar by yourself and feel very comfortable either way. The sushi menu itself includes more traditional Japanese sushi, which honestly is what I'd recommend from the AYCE menu. They even have sashimi, which is cut thinly- which is fine, if you want more you can just order more, that prevents excessive waste. Most AYCE places wouldn't offer sashimi anyway. But the traditional sushi, sashimi and rolls were the ones we liked best. The more Americanized rolls with the alternative (non-nori) wraps were not as delicious, in our opinion. We couldn't figure out what it was, whether it was the wraps or an ingredient in the chopped sushi roll fillings. But there's a ton on this menu that was good. Will eat here again. Oh and a short note on large groups- maybe this is not the spot to go with a massive group? It's more of an intimate dining experience, although they do seem to allow big groups. I only mention this because I saw a negative review about slow service for large groups before we went and then the evening we went a group of maybe 10-12 college students impatiently waited by the door to be seated, even though the servers were polite and had to wait for multiple tables to clear at the same time to push together seat such a large group in a smallish restaurant- the patrons kept coming in and trying to sit at random tables before it was their turn. If you have a massive group I'd say split into multiple tables or maybe choose a different, larger or chain restaurant, like El Vaquero or Buffalo Wild Wings? Anyway I hope they left a good tip because the workers were very professional and the group was very large and very impatient.
