Had heard from some folks that this place had solid BBQ, so we decided to check it out one evening. It was good, but nothing amazing. I personally had the pork BBQ nachos--very strong. My buddy got a brisket spud, which looked good and he said it was--the one thing I think they could have done better was melt the cheese on the spud. It had the cheese just cold and fresh on there--melted cheese would have set it off! They had some homemade desserts available but I didn't try them. Overall, it's a solid BBQ joint, but it's probably not the best choice for the area. I will say that the service was super friendly and they even offered to come around and give us refills of our drinks. Inside is clean and rustic. read more

From the moment we walked in everyone was welcoming, smiling and helpful. The cashier suggested Texas Toast for my husband's double burger and I ordered the catfish. Kay & Chole brought out our food to the patio and checked on us and others regularly. My husband told me it was the best burger ever and my catfish was perfect, good flavors and fresh fry oil. Have been eating at Dana's since shortly after they opened years ago. Had the brisket sandwich special with beans and slaw. The brisket was fall off the bone tender. The slaw is sweet which gives you the sour and sweet taste. Still a great meal. read more

This truly is one of the best burger and bbq places in Branson! I recommended this place to my bf since we were in the area and looking for a good place to have dinner after spending the day on the beach. When we first got in the door there was a long line but it moved extremely fast and before we knew it it was our turn to order. The service here was fast and friendly. We got a pulled pork bbq nacho fry to share and he got the Danna burger and I got the fat burger. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious and we couldn't have been happier. The rolls here were amazing!!! They had a crunch on the outside and soft and buttery in the inside. The beans were pretty good too. Unfortunately, those were kind of the only things I really enjoyed. The pulled pork was fine but a little dry. The spicy bbq sauce was okay, but I didn't really enjoy the regular. I thought it was bland. A friend got the stuffed baked potato. I thought that beans and Cole slaw were weird on a potato but I love odd combinations like that. Sadly, this one wasn't it. It was weird and lacked flavor. I got a big crunch at one point and I have no idea what would have caused it... it wasn't the cole slaw. read more

We stopped here after a full day at SDC. We should've gone somewhere else. We got enough food, but to call it BBQ is an insult to actual BBQ. It tasted like oven baked meat - all of it. There was no smoke ring on anything, no bark, very little flavor. The sides were fine and with enough BBQ sauce, the beef and pulled pork were eatable. The ribs were fatty with very little flavor. If you don't care and just want warm food, you can get full. If you want respectable smoked BBQ, you should go somewhere else. read more

Amazing food and great service. I'm very impressed with their gluten free options because I have celiac disease. They offer a gluten free bun for their top tier burgers. This restaurant has always been a family favorite and never disappoints. The employees are very polite and courteous. I highly recommend the fat burger or the BBQ nachos. I have Celiac disease so them having a GF bun as an alternative option was icing on the cake. Fries are not GF, so if you are gluten intolerant/sensitive or celiac, I would avoid the fries. Heard about this place while driving by checking Yelp for spots to eat; Danna's came up for BBQ and burgers. Upon entering I expected a 3 star average all around experience; to my surprise I was wrong. I chose a burger off the special menu sorry I don't remember the name of it, but it started with an "A." My wife got the pork nachos, and my child as always a side of fries and chocolate milk. We walked around to a "patio area" giant garage style doors that would make it open air seating if not closed. While we waited looking around reminded me of a checkers; well because everything was. Our food arrived pretty quick, and delivered with a smile. We felt it was a bit pricy, but a decent size serving. The burger was great; moist nice mild flavor, fresh veggies, and a mayo sauce. I also went with the onion rings, and they were seriously the best I have had in Missouri. I do with there was a little more bacon. My wife enjoyed the nachos; she had never had them with baked beans. Her only complaint was the cheese stuck more to the paper than the chips. My kids fries were delicious; crunchy and flavorful. The service was also fantastic. The staff was attentive and made sure we were satisfied with our meal and service.
