A call was made to "Jim Was Here, Inc." to have the cabinet repaired. I called the number listed on his website. I tried leaving a message, however, their phone would just ring and ring. Eventually, when I called, there was a voice mail that indicated their voice mail was full. I also left a message ontheir website to please get in touch with me for the repair of my cabinet. There was never any response. This company prides themselves that "no job is too small". Apparently, a small job is not worth their time. I am very disappointed with this company and have found another handy man that is more than happy to to small jobs.

Their workmanship was great, very skilled and most importantly very careful. To compare another contractor came cut new baseboard because this wasn't in handycrews scope of work and within 8 hours they damaged my cabinet and cracked our brand new tiles. So great job Handycrew for weeks of work with no damage!!! This company will actually pay you to leave a good review, which I was offered a few years back. In good conscience I would not accept the offer. We manage a small complex in town, and the owners decided to try this company again. So we called and booked them for some repairs in a vacant unit. Now let me say, for the most part the work is ok. However, after replacing a door stop and adjusting the front door, it had an annoying loud squeaking sound. My husband decided to text Rob and ask him just to come back and adjust it so it would not squeak and to also finish a few things we asked them to do that were left undone. This is the reply Rob sent back to my husband. (XXXX, to be quite candid with you. I dont want to go back for that front entry door issue. There is no money in that. No offense. But this is all about money. I took care of most of the items on the list. I will bill what weve done and when you have a task with more meat on the bone i will return,  if you choose to call us. Thank you.) We were both appalled after reading this. First of all it would have taken mere minutes to make the adjustment to a job that was not done properly or the door would not be squeaking. Second they did not finish the job with all the things we asked them to do. So his text doesn't make sense, because actually there was more work to be done. So just beware if you don't have a large amount of work they don't want to come, and they don't want to make it right if there is a problem because "there's no money in it for them" if they have to come back and make it right. Skip over this company and just hire someone who will do the job no matter how small or how large. Word of advice for the company, work is work. Most people want the work, if you actually DO the work then you don't have to offer a payment, gift card or discount to get a 5 star review.
