Very disappointed! Took my girlfriend there for the first time and we both were very displeased! I don't normally complain but this was so far I believe the worse service and food this season. As a local i have been here numerous times and for the most part its a good atmosphere. However this visit I was disappointed. We waited 13 min after being seated before I finally went to hostess and informed we had not been greeted. About 3 min later a server showed up. Remind you this a Thursday around 130pm. There was maybe 12 people eating. We finally got our food and one of the sides is not what we ordered. So the server went back to get the side we ordered and we were charged for it. The beans and rice had no taste at all and was under cooked. Will I come back? Of course. But was very displeased. read more

Everything for us here was great. Our server, Dave, was great. They made sure that we had everything we needed. I have the steak which was well cooked. All the appetizers were good and we had something that came in a Malibu bucket that was delicious. I would highly recommend this place. Heading to the gift shop next. read more

This review get 2 stars for two exact reasons. The helpfulness of the dock staff and the Buffalo chicken dip. Well sorta... we received our appetizer a minute before our food came out. When our food came out they called out the food and barely knew what they were handing out. Our server forgot to put in one of our meals and did not check on us for about 15 minutes after we received our food. We had to get up and ask other staff for side plates, silverware, ketchup, ranch, and straws. While we were satisfied with our food, it was nothing special. Lastly, to top it all off, the Busser's came to our table to clean our table off and it felt like they were swarming us. Grabbing everything including our used napkins and our pitcher of water that we were not done with. read more

It's a pretty cool place on the lake if you're looking for waterside dining. It's kind a rowdy in the summertime and that's not really my thing but they brings in big crowds. The food was good, I didn't knock my socks off but it wasn't terrible either. The service is what was amazing. Our server was excellent he did a very good job. One of the best lake restaurants!! Great music on weekends! Lots of shade on the outside deck! Plently of nice docks & private Jet Ski parking! Food is also one of the bests on the lake! Try the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich, it is huge, 2 or 3 people can share this is it"s so big, tender & not grissley!! The pizzas are not your run of the mill kinds, and very good! This is a great place to get lunch or dinner on the water. Our favorite is the fish taco. A huge filet grilled or blacked served with pico de gallo and a spicy sauce. It's the BEST Ever Anywhere! A variety of appetizers. Fun atmosphere with live music on the weekends. Drinks are good, too. It's our family's favorite - always requested whenever we go to the Lake. read more

The Enchilada soup & Queso cheese dip appetizer are THE EXACT SAME THING! If that's not nasty sounding to you, this is probably the place for you. We had our suspicions about how similar they were, but then our 'waiter' confirmed it to us, like it was a good thing =/ We had a party of six, called ahead to see if there would be a long wait, they said no & took our name down. We get there 10 min later and they tell us it would be 30 min, and that they're sorry about the phone call but they don't take reservations or call aheads. The service was horrible, took forever, most of the food was cold. If you like to get sloppy drunk, hear bad music, & be near the water this place is for you, beyond that you're better off just going hungry. read more

Avoid when it's busy if you're eating. Service has been awful the two times that we have been there. It seems the kitchen just can't keep up with the amount of people they are seating and taking orders from. Hostess and waitress did not mention the 1.5 hour wait time to eat. Too bad because the food seems pretty good and the location is great. We won't be back. I understand how crowded the lake gets on the weekends, but there are plenty of other places around that manage it well. read more

Food is excellent but the service SUCKS. Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere is Cool. I will continue to visit regularly but it's defietly not a place to get in and out of Quickly. They just need more help! Seems like most business's at the lake struggle With this issue. Less help means frustrated customers and for such a small window Of time to make the bulk of revenue in the summer months I would not want to send customers away upset never to return. Besides great service by Sean, the pretzels with beer cheese and the pulled pork nachos appetizers were both very good. Didn't know it just opened for business the day before (if Google is correct) So very impressed by not having the 'new business ' glitches I've had with other places. Will add it to my go-to place when visiting Camdenton. read more

Delicious! We got two pork tenderloins and two shrimp Alfredo. Both were so good!! The tenderloins were ginormous and sooo tender. Needed a little salt ( and I never say that) but that was easily solved. The Alfredo was outstanding! I don't really care for Alfredo because it's usually all fat and not a lot of flavor but this was very good. Cheesy, creamy and garlicky with a hint of heat. Portions were huge and the shrimp was fresh. They didn't skimp on those either. The only reason for the 4 stars versus 5 was because when we picked up our meal it was the wrong one so we had to wait another 30 minutes. In the end all was made right so I just talked myself into changing it to 5 stars. read more

our server was terrible. orders wrong. never came back to fill up our drinks, we even had to go to the bar to get our pops filled. when we got our checks she stood there hovered over us while we were trying to read our check and getting our cash out. on top of that they have a "incentive" if you pay with cash , 4% off. before bringing the check out she never asked if we were paying with card but went ahead and put a card fee on there. then after telling her one we were paying with cash and two there was a card fee on there she went to change it. she comes back and then gives us the ticket w/ the 4% discount but then still had a card fee on there. oh and she stood there waiting for her tip once again. she argued with us and then finally went to take it to the manager and came back and argued saying it was correct for our $147 bill when everyone clearly knows $132+$10=$142 . finally we got so aggravated we just told her to keep the change. it was about $5. we start out at 20% for every server, and she got down that low on a $142 bill, and it was more than we wanted to give to her. as our mother walked away she thought we were leaving too so she shouted to our mother "you're an ass". so once again terrible service. food wasn't the best, nachos cheese was cold, mashed potatoes were, and my baked potato wasn't even cooked. read more

We ended up here on a busy day. Waited for someone to come take our drink order. No one ever came over. Went up to the bar to order and the bartender never came over either. We ended up leaving without trying anything at all. I wouldn't give The Fish & Co. the courtesy of one star, but unfortunately zero stars isn't an option. I can't speak for the food, because we never received any. I went in a party of 12 for dinner on a Saturday evening, and we were surprised there was no crowd or wait to be seated. Boy, did we wait after ordering. After 2 HOURS, we checked on our food only to find out they hadn't started cooking it yet. Thirty minutes and jam-packed? Seems reasonable; I can deal. But two hours and no significant crowd? That ain't about to happen. The wait staff was unapologetic and indifferent, they served other parties before us who had been seated long after us, and a sympathetic table near us informed us that the wait staff complained TO THEM about us. Seriously? I may have a big family, but we aren't more difficult of a table than your average big family. Regardless, I don't care who you are, that's unprofessional. We left. We won't be giving any business to The Fish & Co. and we won't be recommending it to any friends. I have never received such poor service ever. As far as I'm concerned, the DMV has better management for the same caliber of peoplewatching. read more

We love Fish and Co. Great food, music and great service too. Food is consistently good. Biggest tenderloin on the lake and the chicken salad on croissant is delicious. I've seen the pizza and they look yummy too. Dale Blue plays during the afternoon and he's always entertaining. Great for family too. This place is always clean too. After a hiking excursion at Ha Ha Tonga State Park, my husband and I were ready for a big lunch and The Fish & Co. proved to be the ideal place. Great laid back lake atmosphere, but this place actually has their act together as a good casual restaurant. It's more expensive than fast food (of course) but provides a higher level of service and quality that is well worth the trip. We visited on an early May afternoon, when the season just seemed to be getting into the swing, but it was still very lively on the patio and they had great live music. My pork tenderloin sandwich was perfectly made and the tenderloin was huge. I chose fruit as my side and was pleased to enjoy large slices of watermelon and some pineapple wedges. My husband gave his grouper sandwich and fries two thumbs up, and especially enjoyed the creamy dill sauce that accompanied his meal. One word of warning to travelers - it looks like you are heading down into a residential slash trailer park area - but have no fear, it's a scenic if touristy lakeside location (boats dock here to dine). read more

Got there after a harrowing drive up a near vertical dirt track that turned out to be a Google Maps misdirection. The stuff of legends. The blackened grouper was fantastic, sautéed Brussels sprouts with tomatoes and bacon was great. Service was prompt and very friendly but it was late on a Sun in April so can't vouch for more than that. Margarita was a big disappointment- made from a mix and very very weak, and $7.50. Had to ask for a bowl of limes to squeeze in. read more

I tried to give this place another shot but they continue to disappoint. three times in three years with the same result. Once we waited for 1:45 and never even saw our food. Even our waitress this time who was newer, said they can't seem to get the kitchen to get food out in a timely manner. We went on a Thursday night and there was no one inside and about 30 or so people outside. We waited an 1:10 for our food and it was wrong. We ordered grilled and our meals came out blackened. But no resolution, just too bad for you. We noticed they are fast to bring out drinks, shots and other alcohol though.
