    Shrimp tacos, fried cheese, salad

Fish and Company is a cool place. I think you really go for the atmosphere, not necessarily the food. The best thing we ate were the fried cheese. The inside of the shrimp tacos were good but the tortilla shell was bland. :(. My friend was told the fish in her fish tacos was fresh. I knew this was a lie but didn't have the heart to tell her because I didn't know what she was gonna eat. The salad was good though. Notwithstanding, the view was awesome. The vibe was popping--live music was going.

Had 15 people. Did not expect fast service for large group but 1hr was pushing it. Was there last year thought it was great. This year not so. The staff was friendly enough but food was lacking and some was cold and had to be sent back. I had the mahi-mahi tacos which had super taste but looked like they put 5 clam strips on it. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Fried potato salad was delicious and fried pickle spears were good and of course the Lake Water Drinks hit the spot. Good atmosphere and like the live entertainment. I still recommend it but...

Mediocre at best. Heading home from the Lake we stopped by for some food and drinks. We were sat outside and given menus. All three menus were dirty. We ordered three waters, two mixed drinks and a root beer. Out of the six beverages there were three dirty cups that had to be replaced. The mixed beverages were definitely under poured and there was more ice than beverage - even the juice was lacking. We ordered the kids Mac and cheese with fries, the pulled pork sandwich, fish and chips and the crab wonton dip appetizer. The crab dip was good, the chips were just fried which was nice, however they were not properly drained so there was a pool of oil and soggy chips at the bottom. The pulled pork lacked depth of flavor but was cooked well enough. The Mac and cheese was microwaved cup. The fish was awful; bland, mushy, fishy tasting and poorly coated in cornmeal. It tasted old and poorly cooked; only two pieces were eaten. The fries on all the dishes were fine. Definitely won't be back - everything was way overpriced for quality and quantity.

Fun atmosphere. Very busy but service fairly quick. Crab Rangoon dip really good and so were chicken wings.

Fortunately we were able to find parking and only had to wait 15 minutes or so to get a table for 7 (nephews + BIL decided swimming outside was more important than dinner, so only 4 of us actually sat inside). The place was fairly loud and busy, but worse was that it was *warm* due to it being hot outside and people going in/out of the restaurant all the time. The service was actually pretty decent despite it being a mad house. My last stop in here a couple years ago included an amazing Buffalo Chicken Pizza. I was able to get my buffalo chicken pizza again this time, but it was a bit sad compared to last time...just okay. It was definitely a bit of a let down. Anyways, we went back outside after dinner and waited for the fireworks. I waited by the outside bar in the shade, but it was still a bit too warm for my liking. The fireworks were almost half an hour late, but we're pretty solid. Overall, it was a fine evening, but I can't help but think that there might be better options for getting a meal and catching fireworks. Captain Ron's might be better outside of a super busy holiday (it wasn't nearly as busy the last time I was in despite it being a weekend evening).

A solid place to stop by!…read more We came during an extended weekend trip for lunch, drinks, and the pool. We were seated pretty quickly but this place DOES fill up fast (that includes the pool). The front has a place to order different t shirts from the wall then there's a small indoor seating area and a lot of patio seating outside. We ordered the jumbo crab rangoons, jalapeno poppers, and club sandwich. Although there was a bit of a wait the food was good and had good portion sizes which helps if you're there day drinking. Our waitress was friendly and helpful although a bit on the slower side with checking in and bringing items we requested. We waited about 20 minutes to get boxes and our checks. If you walk down the stairs from the restaurant there's the gated pool area. As it was summer it was packed even on a weekday. There's bars and bathrooms right next to the pool as well as a swim up bar. This was helpful since we had to get out to order drinks we at least didn't have to go far. Although it was a nice vibe I didn't enjoy that it felt like a hot tub especially in the summer and while drinking. In knowing a large amount of ppl come for the pool I would've hoped they cooled the water down & circulated the water better. Additionally a bit of added staff or security would be helpful to ensure ppl aren't getting ridiculous. I saw someone passed out in a chair from drinking too much and someone else falling over into the chairs unable to walk because of how intoxicated they were. Ofc we're all adults and should be able to control our drinking but ppl prove that theory wrong every time. It caused a bit of an issue with ppl & their stuff being trampled by ppl too drunk to walk and no staff around to help. For those who don't know the added another add on to the location off to the right side of the property. This includes a stage for performances which is cool! Although there isn't a restaurant like there is at the main pool there are food trucks which is a cool concept to get different types of food. Overall will be back to check out the other side.

We ended up only going for dessert, and I'm glad we did. We got the Baxter's Dessert Platter, which had three cakes to share! Just an honest heads up on cost: entrees range from $22-75 on average, which was more than I expected going in. Combined with that, the dining room was packed (kinda hard to get a good look at everything) but the interior felt pretty basic for what you're paying for a plate. On the plus side, the bathrooms had some nice amenities, which was a small but appreciated touch. Overall: We loved our great dessert platter, the nice water view, but the value didn't quite match the price point for food. If you go, I'd consider treating it more as a dessert and drinks spot with a view rather than a full dinner destination unless you're prepared for that cost!

For our entrées, I ordered the English cut prime rib with a twice-baked potato, and my wife ordered the steak bites. My prime rib was cooked perfectly and the potato was excellent. Overall, the food was very good. My wife felt that the steak bites were overwhelmed by pepper, which took away from her enjoyment of the dish. One thing we found disappointing was the value. The meals only came with one side, and considering the prices, we felt the food was significantly overpriced for what was included. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. Our waitress did little beyond taking our order and bringing the check. The appetizer was delivered by another employee, the busser brought out our entrées, and he was also the one who refilled our drinks throughout the evening. While everyone was polite, we never felt like our waitress was engaged or attentive to our table. For me, great service can elevate a meal, and poor service can diminish even great food. I would rather have mediocre food with outstanding service than outstanding food with mediocre service. While we enjoyed most of what we ate, the lackluster service and poor value left a lasting impression. Because of that, we will likely not return.
