This is the spot!!! The fish is fresh and taste spectacular! This is the second time I come here and it was even better this time. Service is spectacular super friendly and make you feel like you're home. Lovely little spot to sit outside and enjoy the start of the show the food!! The clam chowder is rich and creamy. Full of delicious goodness potatoes, clams oh my. If you haven't been make the time. They're only open Thursday to Saturday.

The food is really good here, it has always been. It's been a while since I was here but today I was raving fish and seafood. I had the soft crab dinner with a side of fried oysters. And my wife had a lane snapper sandwich and our meals were delicious. I would recommend this place to eat at.

First time here & the food was fresh. I ordered the grouper sandwich with fries & a devil crab. The grouper needed seasoning & the devil crab & fries were good. Good customer service.

The seafood was fried to perfection. My only complain is there was seasoning in anything.. the baked beans taste like canned pork-n-beans. Everything was cooked fresh and only about 10ish minutes to get food. There is no indoor seating. Food was not greasy which was a huge plus.

Quaint roadside restaurant. Service is excellent and food is delicious. I had the sampler platter, reminds me of Carolina Calabash. The croquets are delicious.

Cute place and I'm glad they reopened. Went down there with a relative and enjoyed their grand reopening. I got the jambalaya soup and it was very delicious and perfectly spicy. My relative got the grouper sandwich and I got the clam sandwich. Both were good, the roll isn't my favorite, but it was a good sandwich.

Friendly staff. Overheard the owner telling her story of how she obtained the shop. Very interesting. Glad I stopped by. Happy to finally find a fish & chips spot that's affordable & good. Hard to find a decent fish spot in the Bay Area (weird)! Food was good. I got the clam chowder and also the fish & shrimp combo w grits. The soup was soooo good. I wish they had a larger size! There is parking & outside bench seating. Friendly environment. I will be a regular.

Food- ! That's why we came ! ***** 14 years since my first visit and it just keeps getting better! Service- With a smile, skill, passion and a sense of family. Ambiance- Perfectly casual, chill, friendly, neighborly, and if you can't make new friends here it just means you got takeout. When my friends and family are planning their vacation visits they will always assume a ride to The Fish House !

We ordered the shot honey grouper sandwich, bang bang shrimp fries, fried shrimp and grouper bites. Three were weekend specials for $9.99. That price and quality cannot be beat! The hot honey grouper was awesome. Very nice filet of grouper with hot honey on it. Sweet, spicy and freshly cooked. 10/10. Fries were freshly fried and had a nice seasoning. Great meal. My son had the grilled grouper bites. They were cooked perfectly and he devoured them. 2 thumbs up! Other son had the shrimp basket. Fried shrimp were juicy and crispy. Not over battered. Great taste and another 2 thumbs up. Bang bang shrimp fries were really good. Not hot but had great flavor. Fries had a ton of bacon and that yummy sauce drizzled over them. Would get again. 9/10. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Nice outdoor area with about 6 tables. Service was friendly and quick. Price was great for fresh seafood. We drove about 30 minutes and it was worth the drive!

The side red potatoes were a step up from coleslaw. We also tried the lobster roll on an earlier visit. It was bland to OK, but definitely not a price performer. We absolutely love the Ruskin Seafood Market for fresh fish. Very good selection and I guess ultimately we prefer to fix our own seafood.

First impression was a little suspect because it's clearly a house turned restaurant/bar. Once we got inside though, I loved the charm of it. There are different rooms you walk through and they have it all set up with tables and chairs....all different kinds so it's a modge podge of tables. Then there are cool chandeliers over the tables and bar signs everywhere. Our waitress was a new implant to Florida and she was super sweet and helpful. She also made a mean vodka tonic! Ok so let's get to the food. First we ordered the Fried Alligator Bites and the Fried Green Tomatoes as appetizers and they were both delicious! The alligator wasn't super chewy and the voodoo sauce was banging! I went with the Shrimp and Grits and sheesh I was blown away! I loved the texture and the taste of the grits. They had just the right amount of cheese and the shrimp were cooked perfectly! The hubby got the Grouper Tacos and he said they were good but a little dry. He wished they had some more toppings...either sauce or pico de gallo. My daughter got the mussel pasta. She loved the mussels but was disappointed by the penne pasta. She wished it was a bit saucier as it only had a lemony/wine liquid that wasn't sticking to the pasta. All in all this place was good. We will go at least once more since it's by where we're staying and I want to try a couple more things on the menu.

Service was pretty good, our server was very friendly and helpful, but they seemed to be pretty busy so he didn't come around too much (which we also appreciated, as it was just enough space and attention). Food was better than I expected! All of the dishes were well-cooked and flavorful, the drinks (mango margarita) were a bit strong but loved, and nothing was too salty or too bland. We started with a dozen oysters which were very fresh and slightly chewy (different from northern oysters that I usually have), then had the cod, crab cakes, and snapper, all with well-paired sauces and great sides (the snapper was slightly overcooked). Everyone got complimentary sunset shots as the sun was dipping towards the horizon, and we finished off with a giant slice of key lime pie (that we couldn't quite fit in so we took back because it was too good to waste). Overall good experience and will definitely be back to try more!

From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to be in for a great experience. It is overwhelming when you arrive. So many different venues with different names. Very confusing at first. But the staff were helpful, friendly & explained they're all the same place just different areas of appeal. They have a beach area, typical dining areas, intimate cove areas, and bar areas. Well done on atmosphere! DH & I came for dinner around 6 on a Sat evening. We figured we'd have a wait but they seated us within 20 mins of arriving. We asked to be seated outside with a water view. They don't disappoint. Our waiter was fantastic. Always tentative and remembering the little things. To start DH ordered a beer. It was served & cold. I ordered a Mojito which was ok, nothing special. For dinner I got the Lump Crab BLT. Don't expect big lumps of crab meat. The rest of the ingredients are a hint of flavors & that really made it great. Beware, it is a delicious but very messy sandwich. The side salad was a hit. Very fresh & flavorful. DH ordered the Tenderloin Steak Sandwich. He was very happy with the flavor. It was not dried out and had a good seasoning. His side of fries were good too. The atmosphere can't be beat. I had one spicy margarita that was amazing and had a couple of jalapeno slices. My friend ordered one that was missing the jalapenos and was just ok. The cooks forgot to add the honey sriracha sauce to our brussel sprouts (which I've had here before so I knew something was missing). The solution to just bring a cup of the sauce to the table was not it. The bad: That parking lot. Not a single place to park, yet the restaurant was not at all busy.
