Raising Cane's is a family favorite. We've dined multiple times at locations in Cali, Hawaii, Tennessee, Indiana and Illinois. Needless to say, we were quite happy when the Canoga Park location opened since we frequent this area. We usually wait a few weeks for new places to work out operational issues, so after driving by several times, the husband was excited to start Father's Day weekend with his favorite Caniac Combo. It all started impressively well with a loud "welcome" as we walked in. There was only one customer ahead of us, but a nice young lady quickly came to the other register to take our order -- 3 Finger and Caniac Combos. The place was quite loud with all the college-aged adults (workers and customers), but we found a nice quiet booth away from the main area. There was a young man occupying the booth in front of us by himself with a drink and a backpack. At first, we thought he was finishing up his meal but shortly realized that he just got done with his shift and was waiting for a ride (that was very late). During our entire time, he was on a marathon of facetime and speaker calls on full volume. In the short breaks in between, he would loudly interact with the other people on shift. This was incredibly distracting and annoying. The food was sadly disappointing simply because the chicken tenders were just not right. We were honestly surprised since we've never experienced this at any Cane's. The coating was overall soft and weirdly moist on some of the ends -- like they've been pre-fried and left sitting in a container. The fries were just warm and slightly crisp -- like the tenders, they seemed to have been pre-cooked too far ahead. The Texas Toast was fine. The place is clean. It was nice to see team members continuously wiping down tables. One walked by a couple times with a Dyson stick vacuum. In reading other reviews, there are obvious issues with the consistency in food prep. Hopefully this gets resolved. The food and service need to live up to the Raising Cane's reputation that have made us loyal customers. Until then, we won't be back. Parking was easy in the fairly good size lot. read more

Food was what it normally is at a Raising Canes. The batter on the chicken fingers could have been a little more well done. The chicken fingers are average, the fries average as well. The Texas toast, Canes Sauce and the sweet tea were all very good. Service here was good. Prices are fair. Free parking in back but it does get crowded. Ambiance is a chill and clean vibe inside. The music was a bit too loud though. All in all it's a good spot for a meal but overall I think Raising Canes is a bit overrated. Will I come back to this location? Yes! read more

Trust me when I tell you this.... But it absolutely kills me to have to give out a 3 star review. But after all of the hype, the build up and the waiting that I did for Raising Canes Chicken Fingers to finally open up a location near me.... I was sincerely let down and for the life of me, I just can't wrap my head around why this chain is so glorified. Prior to coming to this location's grand opening... I had always heard such good things about other Raising Canes locations from my family and friends. I heard high praises about their Chicken, their Texas toast, and of course the infamous Canes sauce. And when people heard that I had yet to go to try Raising Cane's, I always received the same reaction... "You've never had Raising Canes?" So naturally, when I saw that a Raising Canes was being built near my work, I was so excited to finally get my opportunity to try this supposed life changing fast food spot. From the moment I first witnessed that a location was coming to Canoga Park, for months I would pass by and see the progress of the restaurant coming to life right on Topanga Blvd. And then one day, to my surprise, I saw that it had finally opened. Of course, I know that when a new place opens up, specifically a food spot, even if it's a well established chain, there are often many kinks that need to be worked out before the said restaurant gets into their grove and I totally get that. But in my experience of going to brand new food spots, I usually luck out. I actually find it to be the best time to go as the service is at its best, as new employees are fresh, newly trained and shadowed by corporate and management from other locations to ensure the best quality and service is offered for the opening team and their guests. Well, I guess everyone's luck eventually runs out. On January 4th 2026, I decided that after my meeting, I would pick up Raising Canes to-go and take lunch to eat with my family. When I walked in, the place was buzzing. I don't know the exact date they opened (heck, maybe it was that day) but it felt like it was very recent. There was lots of staff behind the counter, a calm-chaos coming from the kitchen and a big team ready to serve. I was ready for a life changing meal. As it was my first visit ever, I took my time to look at the menu as I was unsure of what to get and I wanted to make sure I got plenty for my wife, myself and our kids who I was bringing food to back at home. So I went with a couple of their Caniac combos which would give us 12 chicken fingers, 2 orders of fries, 2 small Coleslaws, 2 Texas Toasts and 2 32oz. Fountain drinks/teas.... Which came out to $40.37 with tax.... Ouch! (This meal better be good) Spoiler Alert: Was Not Impressed! The Chicken (in my humble opinion) was just... Whatever. Nothing really special. And not even the Cane Sauce could salvage it. The crinkle Fries were a bit too salty.. And circling back to their infamous Canes Sauce that everyone raves about... Ehhh, it just wasn't for me. On top of the food being satisfactory at best, the price even though there was a decent amount of food, just didn't compensate for the "just ok" food received. The only thing that was a slight win was their Texas Toast. I'm all about second chances and the hope is to go back again and have my mind changed, but with so many fast food chicken spots with better recipes, better fries and sauces that I just can't live without, I don't know if Raising Canes will ever be able to Raise the Bar. read more

Ok I get this place just opened but I went at 11:20am when there was no line and still ran into issues. The person taking my order in the drive thru had tech issues on the laptop so I had to wait there for several minutes. She didn't tell me which window to go to. There was a security guard just standing there and watching me, which is weird. When I got to the 2nd window, they handed me my order - 3 finger combo - and maybe the employees should have a smile on their faces? Depressing. Also holy heck the amount of fries was pathetic. For anyone that's wondering why this place sucks it's because they literally hired workers with NO EXPERIENCE. They are all students and the managers themselves made sure that they were only going to hire part timers with no experience and they're claiming that they trained them but honestly action speaks for itself. What's really ridiculous is the fact that they can't even handle basic orders and the amount of times they've messed up on my orders is insane. I work in the food industry myself and it's just plain that they don't care about what the customers say. I just ordered the chicken fingers sandwich with fries. My sandwich had wilted lettuce in it. Very unappetizing. I've never eaten a chicken sandwich with wilted lettuce at other fast food eateries. I think you need to use iceberg lettuce or put the lettuce on the side. The service was good. Cashier person was kind. I discovered my wilted lettuce after I left the drive-thru. Please change the presentation of toppings, lettuce shouldn't be wilted like that. Looked like cooked spinach. read more

If I can give this a 0 star rating I would!!! This is the WORST Canes!!! In the United States!!! I have eaten at multiple locations of canes from Los Angeles to Orange County to Las Vegas And I have never!! Experienced such terrible!!!!! Food!!! And the staff that they hired every single person in this place doesn't know what they're doing! It's like they literally accepted employees without training anyone or anything, I promise you the cooks and food handlers never cooked a day in their life!! We waited and was excited for this location to open, and since they opened I have given it a try over 10 times, and 20 out of 10 times the food is terrible!!!! Un edible! Literally when I say 20 out of 10 because I return the food because it is raw the first time and have them recook it the 2nd time and it's like they do it on purpose! One of Canes's best locations imo. The staff here are always very friendly which is nice. Feels very old school with the human interaction. The service here is also very fast which is refreshing considering how packed all the other ones in the Valley are. The food here is again, always a hit and pretty consistent with all the other Canes in the area. Great having one closer to home instead of having to drive to Northridge or the east valley. The restaurant vibe is always really nice and they've got good music. Love the pictures of Elvis and the people that work here are well groomed and seem like they enjoy their job. Went to the new raising canes on topanga, first day so I'm going to give them a break. But they can do better hopefully with some constructive criticism. Ordered the three piece box and the sandwich box . The sandwich had no sauce on it or on the side, both orders had fries both extremely salty very heavy handed with the salt. The three piece was fair but fries to salty very little side sauce. What was with the three piece not enough sauce. So hopefully they do better because I really waited to go to that location it was supposed to to open in July but delayed until the 9th of December. WORST RAISING CANES LOCATION. VERY RUDE CASHIER. RUDE MANAGER ELISA. They have a very bad attitude here! This place just opened, and they need to shut it down. I ordered combos for the whole family. They managed to forget sauce, bread, and the extra tender I paid for. I paid for everything. I did not receive everything. There's no excuse for missing that many items in one order, especially at a place that literally has a limited menu. I was surprised that there wasn't a single car in the drive thru on a Saturday night. However, I don't get the hype. The food was good, don't get me wrong. But, I can't see me ever craving it. I mean, it's chicken tenders with a dipping sauce. The sauce is good, but again, not earth shattering. Personally, I prefer their competition's signature sauce. I didn't want to write this review because I love canes but this Canoga park location need to seriously have a conversation with their employees about customer service and active listening. The last 5 times I have been here they have Managed to mess up my simple order every single time and I get it we all make mistakes but come on it's chicken fingers and fries not rocket science I order a simple box combo and I get an extra toast no coleslaw not once did I say replace the slaw for toast please please please canes train your employees to listen and repeat orders in n out down the the street is way busier and not once have they messed up a simple order. Have been multiple times because I enjoy their unsweetened ice tea. I order an UNSWEETENED ICE TEA and never get one. The always give me a sweetened and I have repeatedly given it back to them. Tonight I order one and I saw them fill it with sweet tea and said no I want UNSWEETENED, the mass of people they have at the drive thru window all look at me with a blank stare. This Raising Cane's is really nice and consistently clean. In my experience, the food quality here is much better than the Northridge location. I usually have issues with my order being messed up at Northridge, but I haven't had that problem here yet. Definitely my preferred spot! read more

This was my first and perhaps my only visit. I ordered a simple 3 piece meal. The fries were inedible with the insane amount of salt they added. It was as if the top came off and the entire salt shaker fell into the fries and no one had the brains to remake them. The garlic bread was really just bread as it had no garlic flavor whatsoever. Honestly, this place was a huge letdown. The chicken fingers were embarrassingly small, like literal pinky fingers instead of actual chicken fingers, especially for how overpriced everything is. What really ruined the experience was the staff. They kept checking up on us every second, staring and hovering like we were doing something wrong, while they weren't doing that to anyone else. It genuinely felt like we were being watched like criminals when we were just trying to eat. At one point, a worker picked up my friend's bag, asked if it was hers, she said yes, and the worker kept holding onto it instead of giving it back. It had her toy that she paid for inside, and my friend eventually had to snatch it out of her hand, which felt incredibly rude and uncomfortable. After if im not mistaken the worker went and told her coworkers what had happened with the meanest look on her face. Like baby... we were literally just trying to eat. WORST CANES EVER!!!! I came in with my girls and their friends. The cashier was sweet. However, there was this particular young gal who came up to our table and asked the girl if the bag on the floor was hers. The girl politely said yes. Then she walked off, went to her staff, and was mocking and making faces at our table. We could clearly see what she was saying while her staff was staring at us. The staff kept staring at us the entire time, which made me and my girls feel super uncomfortable. Then I got up to ask for lemonade (which I had no idea it's an extra charge). The guy in the black mask was like, "It's an extra charge." I said, "Oh, ok." One of the staff took my cup to give me lemonade, and the guy was like, "No, it's an extra charge."
