I will start with service was awful (especially for an upscale place) and I go to restaurants for the experience which relies on service. Note there are no paper menus so it will be a QR code. If you would like a drink, make sure you ask for that menu as once you scan the code, your waiter will scurry off. Nothing on the menu was explained to us and our dinner entrees were forgotten. There were 4 tables with anywhere from 4-6 people that came in well after us (30 minutes or so) and received their food before us. It was very frustrating. No apology was provided or anything to acknowledge, 'hey we're sorry, we made a mistake". Food - not worth the price. The only thing we liked was the aloo tikki chaat. The chili momos were good, but not our fav. The sheesh kabob was beyond dry. We even requested some chutney with it to see if it would help. It absolutely did not. The goat curry barely came with pieces of meat as it was primarily gravy or bones. The 'salad' that we were given cause I asked for chili peppers provided only 1 pepper and got charted $3 for it. ABSURD. There are no spice levels asked when you order food and the flavors just aren't there, nor is the spice. It is suppose to be Indian food - spice is what the cuisine is about! The only thing going for this place is the ambiance. I would not recommend as there are MANY other places for half the cost with better Indian food around DFW. read more

My 2nd time visiting this spot . First visit for lunch during middle of the week and it was an absolute delight, excellent service and quality of food. Ordered Ala carte and the choices were plentiful and good. Cozy setting, everything checked out real well. So here I am back for weekend lunch and find out they have a buffet option so we opted for that. BIG mistake Apparently they plate and get the food but that wasn't the issue. They have one person who does that + 1/2 a person as the host plays both roles. It's SLOW. Plus you ask for refills ot takes time. Ordering a tea, which was part Of the deal takes 25 mins . So either avoid lunch on weekend or order from menu on weekends and enjoy food at your leisure. Or do come for dinner. Food is very flavorful and the service is excellent. I'd highly recommend pakoda kadi and malpua (it's killer and best in DFW area). Pareena explained us about the menu and various options they have and amazed to see the positive energy and jolly nature she brings to the table. Amazing ambience and excellent flavor on the chili momos. A bit on the pricey side in relation to the value. For example: $7 for a very thin naan. The included rice is wonderfully seasoned. TLDR: Ok food with fast food level service and ambiance at fine dining prices. Save yourself the disappointment for a nice Indian dinner out, I'd recommend any of the many other options in the area like yellow chilli. Our server asked us to take hot plates off the tray ourselves, the bartender was blending god knows what to set the mood (there was no music), I watched our drink refill get poured and sit on the bar table for 10 minutes while the fizz ran out. By the way all of this with only 2 guests in the restaurant - imagine if they were even busier. Food was a mix hence 2 stars. Some dishes were decent - on par with other nice Indian restaurants, but others were borderline inedible. Avoid the yellow daal and malai kofta at all costs. read more

Did a take out of couple of chicken dishes and naan. Pleasantly surprised to get complimentary rice with each chicken main dish. Price seemed high while ordering, but serving is pretty generous. Chicken was cooked really well, spice mix was different (in a good way) from typical Indian dishes we are used to here in the states. Didn't get to experience the place since it was a take out, but place looks really nice, will definitely try dine in. Little different to typical Dallas Desi food scene, we were looking for some modern and quiet place with Indian food and found this place. It's our first time visiting this restaurant. The total cost including tips came to $82 for 2 Adults and 1Kid. Food and portions: We ordered Momos and Paneer poppers. Momos were really good. If I were to go again, would only order Momos. Definitely worth the money considering the taste, portion and the price. Now coming to paneer poppers the price is 19.99. What we got was a bowl full of fries topped with fried paneer balls. I guess they should have named it paneer topper rather than poppers. Taste wise, it is definitely good but as far as the price goes not worth it. Now the main course. We ordered Paneer Tikka Curry, Jeera Rice and Romali Roti. I was so eager to eat Romali Roti but highly highly disappointed. It was dry and oily. Felt like it was bought from an Indian store freezer and reheated on a pan. So again not worth it and skip it. The Paneer gravy was really good in terms of taste and portion. I would definitely recommend it. But for that price I would expect them to give some pilaf rice as a side. We had to buy Jeera rice which also had a big portion and was priced around $9. Taste is good though. So overall food wise rating is only 3 considering the price, taste and portion size. Service: they had only one person and he was able to manage the crowd as it was light when we went. But he missed to bring our drink and had added it to the bill too. We had to request to remove it. So for service I would give 4 stars. Ambiance: no complaints. Well lit and a cool seating arrangements. Just that cutleries were bought from Amazon I guess. I could see the same ones we just bought from Amazon a week ago . Will I go again: No. but if I go, then with a bit bigger group and avoid the items like paneer poppers. Many restaurants don't have veggie momos and the reason for us choosing this place. Had the himalayan style and johl momos. Both were delicious. But the reason I am only giving three stars is that they did not follow directions. I requested the tomato broth to be on side for the johl momos but they put the momos inside the broth which was too spicy for my daughter to eat. So she only ate the himalyan ones. read more
