This place popped up as a recommendation. Matt came to my house and showed me samples and educated me thoroughly on every option. I had never had any floor installations done before so I was pretty clueless. Matt made it easy for me. Never felt pressured into anything and him and his team were so friendly and helpful! Whole process went smoothly. They installed it while I was at work, came home to see it and I love it! They did an awesome job. I would recommend this company!!

I didn't want to make everyone wait and I didn't want to criticize the workers in from of them, so I didn't walk around and check every inch of the carpet. Within a week there was a loop exposed on one of the seams where the carpet edges meet. The owner came back and cut it off. Very nice for him to do a home visit, but I could've cut it off all by myself (and risked it fraying further without any help). I thought he'd do something more permanent and professional. A few months later there was another large loop coming up on a different seam and he said he'd come over and GLUE it. I figured I could do that too so didn't make him come. At any rate, it's still unglued and raveling off and I am frustrated with their work. The edges are uneven around the fireplace and it's just plain shoddy workmanship.

Our consultant (Tom R.) came out to our home to measure and talk through our options -- no pressure, no upselling. After that, I went to the showroom where I could take my time looking at samples until I found the right one. Once I made my selection, installation was scheduled and finished within a few weeks. The team stayed in constant communication, and the results are beautiful! What really stood out: 100% communication 100% quality workmanship Completion right on time If you're in or around Waukesha and need new floors, this is definitely the company to trust.

My New Floors Inc. really hits a home run in this department with Max Shaw. Max provided clear concise answers to all of our questions regarding the best flooring to select for our home's main level (a gorgeous Godfrey Hirst Pure New Zealand Wool Carpet) and he made cost effective recommendations for attractive, affordable, yet durable flooring options to use in our rental properties. Our experience with Max was so different than past experiences with "big box" flooring installers. The big box in-store help doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the product knowledge area and their installation "experts" were actually low-paid, unprofessional subcontractors. This certainly isn't the case with My New Floors Inc. Our experience from showroom to install was impressive!

I told her what I was looking for, and she called for another staff member to take me to the type of flooring I wanted. He took me to that section and explained that there were three categories that they carried and what the differences were. I found the prices to be comparable with other stores I visited for similar flooring. I bought a sample of the plank for $5 to take home and see how it would look in my bathroom. He also told me that if I only end up needing two boxes, I can return the third box, if it wasn't opened, for a refund. That worked for me! Two days later, I went back to buy the flooring. Same staff member working the register remembered me. I told her I was ready to buy and gave her the SKU number that I took a photo of two days prior. She called another staff member over to retrieve three boxes of the planks for me. He also loaded them into my car. It was the easiest buying experience I've ever had. Although, I was probably the easiest customer they've had to help. Yes, it helped that I already researched what type of flooring I wanted, but I'm sure they would have helped me get to that point if needed. I was there about 15-20 minutes the first day, and maybe 5 minutes the second day. I was impressed with the non-pushy, laid-back, helpful, and friendly approach by all three staff members that helped me. My contractor was happy with my choice, as he was very familiar with the product I bought. I'm sure it will look great once installed, and I highly recommend this store.

This place is absolutely massive providing all flooring options from wood, to laminate, stone, tile and vinyl. If you're looking for a certain style, pattern, or color, I'd be surprised if they didn't have it. It's also a clean, well, kept, and spacious store that is very easy to navigate around. We found the Rock Ridge Ledger Stone we were looking for in the back of the store, and snagged six boxes to start with. I'd definitely call the pricing reasonable. My only caveat is that both the staff members we spoke to didn't seem to be the most knowledgable on product. We were looking for the best sealant, and each of them didn't seem too sure on the best recommendation. Good thing I have dad on speed dial who knows the ropes of renovation! We'd certainly return to Floors & Decor for future tile and flooring needs. I see a bathroom remodel in my future...!

Dillion was the second installer that we talked to and we were immediately impressed with him. He was very personable and very knowledgeable of his craft. He provided an estimate with a detailed explanation of the scope of work within 2 days after our first meeting. We chose Heartwood Custom Floors over the larger established and well known competitor that we first talked to. The flooring that we needed (ash and cherry) was a special order and was delivered within the timeline that Dillion had given us and the installation began on the day he scheduled. We were told by Dillion that his brother Eric would be doing the install and just like with Dillion we were immediately impressed with Eric. Our flooring needed to installed on a diagonal to coordinate with the rest of the 40 year old flooring in our house and it needed to be done within a cherry wood border. Diagonal install is more tedious and time consuming. Eric got right to work on the project and after many hours of hard work the new wood was perfectly installed. Eric was conscientious about the color of new wood looking as good as could be with the surrounding older floor and showed us 6 different stain possibilities, one of which was custom blended and was just right. Eric also refurbished a cherry border that was in our dining room without having to redo the rest of the floor in there. Our project was completely done within the timeline provided to us. We couldn't be happier with the final results. We would not hesitate to use Heartwood Custom Flooring again and highly recommend them.

It was important to us that we had a detailed estimate with no surprise expenses at the end. They were always available to take our calls and answer any questions we had. Once we had an estimate and our new flooring picked out, the job was started within a few days. Dylan did our installation and we were so impressed with his work! He showed up on time every day and his attention to detail was very clear. He worked efficiently but nothing ever felt rushed. Given we had a budget, many stores scoffed at us when we walked in and they found out we didn't want to spend $8/sqft on wood flooring. Other places like Home Depot and Lowes lacked the style and choices we were craving...not to mention a severe lack of customer service as well. We were just about ready to settle when a real estate developer told us to try Hunt's Flooring in West Allis. From the moment we walked in, Tony and the rest of the staff quickly turned the frustration of picking a floor into a very enjoyable experience! Right from the start it felt different than the other stores we went into...it felt "right!" Tony warmly greeted us and got a feel for the project we had at hand. He eagerly educated us on different types of flooring, happily accepting the terms of our budget, and steered us in the right direction of the products he offered...which were very plentiful! Tony seemed eager to share his craft...Want to "hear" the difference between a floated vs. nailed down floor? Visit this place just for that amazing experience! What we valued most about Hunt's is that, right from the start, we felt like they valued us as a customer of their store. Before we even started to commit to purchasing something from them, the staff spent a lot of time helping us find the right product for our project...and also allowed us to have alone time searching and talking, free from salesman tactics or distractions. We never felt like we were getting "sold" to...and that was SO refreshing! When we finally did find something we loved and ordered it from them, the customer service didn't stop. Given our budget and my love of projects, I planned on installing the floor by myself. Many other stores, we quickly discovered, dissuade their customers from DIY. Tony was excited we were installing the floor by ourselves, and went out of his way to give us tips and tools to use throughout our project! If we ever need any flooring solution ever again, we will, hands-down, begin our search at Hunt's Flooring. What's more, we HIGHLY recommend anyone in the same boat as us to do the same!! Thank you, Hunt's Flooring!!
