Great place for food and awesome service! Waitresses, despite being busy, were so sweet and you could tell the food was fresh. There was an obnoxious intoxicated guy being impatient because the place was packed and the waitress didn't immediately greet him and he kept screaming and flailing his arms saying "Hellllo" It was painful to watch that but the waitresses still handled it with grace and were kind to him. If you go out to eat and the place is extremely busy, please remember the waitresses are only human and are doing the best they can. I was a waitress for years, and it's not an easy job. read more

Went here a few times while staying at Borgata The cucumber salad was my favorite starter, the sauce was great and the portion is large. The ramen was good too and they have chili oil to make it as spicy as you like which I was a fan of. The steamed oysters were huge, wish I would've known that prior to ordering. I asked my waitress and she said they weren't too big, imagine my surprise when they were the size of an outstretched hand! The spicy wontons were delicious and the Chilean sea bass was flavorful, but had a bit too many small bones for my liking at that price. We were seated right away and offered the lunch menus as well and the regular menu. We ordered Tonkatsu ramen 3.5 nothing to write hone about. Ever since this place moved from the middle of the casino floor to its actual own restaurant, it is the worst Chinese food you will ever have. It has the worst service you will ever encounter. They have the edamame sitting out for hours and throw it in the microwave to give it to you because it is disgusting. They don't even care that you literally tell them their food is no good. They serve a jasmine tea half of them have no clue if it's just jasmine or green tea or 50 decaf or caffeinated. Everybody gives you a different story mind you none of them really speak English. It came with 5 shrimp wontons for $22. The wontons were good but they weren't mind-blowing or anything. The noodles were average and the soup itself was decent. It also came with a couple greens. I wouldn't get it again. Maybe if it were $5-10 cheaper. My girlfriend's beef noodle soup seemed to be much better value. It had a bunch of meat. The broth was flavorful and the noodles were cooked well. The service is friendly and quick. The restaurant is bright, spacious, and clean. I am a fan of N.O.W. and the key is the time your visit here off peak because they are apparently very popular. We ventured here for dinner around 5 p.m. For starters, we had the Chicken Wings and Sweet Potato fries. Both portions were very generous but these choices were not that great. The fries were ok and the wings were not flavored well. My Chicken Pad Thai was my favorite. I asked for extra peanut sauce and sweet sauce and they both complemented the dish. I had so much left over there was enough for a whole second meal. The Peppered Dteak and the String beans with the side of white rice was the second runner up. The service is what truly prevented this from being a 4 star review as it's literally subpar all the time regardless of time of day. They also have rotating weekly specials which of the ones I've tried have all been good. Also be aware that the restaurant is small which also adds to longer wait times. read more

I tried to add sugar but it didn't help I don't think it was made right. I also ordered the veggie spring rolls they were very mushy inside crisp on the outside. For my dinner I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai .. the pad Thai itself was delicious, the chicken however kept tasting like scallops or fish, I wasn't sure if it was bad or cross contaminated cooked. This is my second time visited Noodles after its transformation from N.O.W. I had my all time favorite Vietnamese Pho and I'm very pleased that it tasted the same. Very fresh bean sprouts, basil etc. I'll definitely recommend their noodles in soup though. Also ordered the shrimps fried rice $16.88 and grilled Lamb Ribs &18.88. Both were delicious Today before I left. I had my lunch again at Noodles and I ordered Singapore noodles. Oh Lord, it was sooo good. It's absolutely delicious with Authentic Cantonese style: correct ingredients-- roasted pork, shrimps, scallions, onion, bean sprouts in curry powder. I saw there were 2 Chinese chefs in the kitchen. Yes!! They are back. The noodles fried was full of "high heat wok style". Excellent. I didn't see them during dinner time, don't know if they are only there in earlier hours. I understand that this restaurant is fairly new so they have to work out the kinks. But it's is new? The restaurant sit in Borgota and replaces N.O.W. Chinese restaurant. Some of the staffs are the same staffs. The menu has changed a bit but not by much. They still have some of the customers favorites on the menu. Anyway back to why I'm giving them 2 stars. The service was horrible. Our waiter was a mess. He was taking orders in a row. Meaning he would take an order from one table then the next then another without placing any orders into the kitchen. So if you think your food is on the way, it's not. We just sat down and since we were the next table on his path he came to the our order but we were not ready because we literally just sat down. It's took a while for us to get him back to take our order. We were starving at this moment. Keep in mind we were waiting for a table for at least 45 mins. We ordered 2 glasses of water, 1 beer, 1 wonton noodles soup, fried rice, and steamed Chilean sea bass. A busboy came out to ask if we wanted water and then brang us our water. Seems like the waiter did not communicate that with the busboy and the busboy took it upon himself to figure it out. Our first dish came out which was the noodles soup. At that time my spouse had to tell the person that he never got his beer. She notified our server then the server came over to ask what beer did he want. So basically he forgot. Back to the noodle soup, it was warm not hot. If you're a soup person you want it to be hot. My spouse was able to finish his noodle soup before the fried rice and fish came out. Both the fried rice and white rice were hard. Like it was not fully cooked or not enough water was added when cooking it. It was really bad but at this point I was super hungry I just ate it. And what's the point of getting a new rice when they get it from the same rice cooker. I still gave this place 2 stars and not 1 because the flavors were still there and they are a "new" establishment so I'll give them some grace. We were really disappointed in our dinner experience here during our Borgata stay. We ate a lot of great food and met a lot of friendly staff while finding places to eat here, unfortunately not here. First off we walked up and were immediately taken to a table, great for speed but the hostess didn't speak at all. Not a hi, how are you, follow me, or enjoy, no words. We felt strange following her so she stood at our table for a moment before waving us over. We were sat and no one came to ask for our drink order or greet us, for 13 minutes. No big deal normally, but there were 3 other tables full, as we watched staff not attend to any and sit at the bar area. When a server finally came over he was laughing as he came over, I am sure it was not at us, but it seemed very unprofessional. He lost his smile speaking to us and seemed immediately annoyed that we wanted to order an appetizer, but hadn't decided on food yet. We received the sampler and were disappointed with the taste and presentation. $20 for that plate seemed so ridiculous. Since we really wanted to like the place or at least the food we ordered our entrees to-go. Don't get me started on how the waiter felt about this. Nonetheless, we got our food to go and the noodles were fine. Nothing special and certainly not worth almost $20 each. Especially with the few large chunks of chicken in the lo mien, it could've been cut so quickly! We were overall really disappointed and do not recommend stopping here. This place is located in the middle of the casino, The wait was longer than expected, and once seated, I felt rushed throughout the entire meal. The crabmeat fried rice was a standout dish, flavorful and satisfying. However, while the food and service was quick, it sometimes felt too rushed, with the server constantly grabbing plates while we are still eating. To make matters worse, when we asked for to-go boxes, the server returned and dumped everything together in them resembling dog food and threw half of our soup on the table. We looked at the menu, nothing that REALLY caught my eye. I just chose what I was familiar with which was the house special lo mein and cream cheese Rangoon. Honestly was not impressed. The Rangoon was a little too done and crispy and the meat inside of the lo mein that I received was not flavorful. First off, the decor is nice but there's not much space, just a few small tables, one long communal table, and then seating along the cooking station, where we sat. The shrimp & pork steamed dumpling were a little better. The prices are reasonable. This is a brand new eatery. What was N.O.W. is Noodles as of May 22. We visited May 25 and waited on line, as platinum players, for 57 min for a table! Once we were seated, food did arrive quite promptly. Food was as good as I remembered. We loved the steak dish (it used to be surf and turf but they eliminated the shrimps for the new menu). Steal was very tender and veggies so well seared, only wished the portion was tad bigger for us to enjoy. We had a total of six orders and it's just enough portions for 5 adults and two young kids!
