What a scam!!!! 4 of us ate four breakfast plates. The three in this picture and one more the final cost $100!!! If you take a close look you will see the meal is served with paper cups and plates! South Korea all the way to Prague. I've never had to pay $25 per person to eat off of paper plates. One thing they don't tell you is that any bill over $40 automatically includes a $25% tip. The look of this place isn't the best, but that's a part of the nostalgia for me visiting AC. It's definitely a "hole in the wall" type of atmosphere, not in a bad way. It is not excellent because of the atmosphere even though the atmosphere is very nice but they just serve good food at a good price with great service. My wife and I as we celebrated our 49th anniversary together. We're looking for a simple place just to have some breakfast and this just really fit the bill. While we were promptly seated for breakfast with no wait time (weekday morning) and the service was quick- there were a few downsides. The prices were quite high for what it was overall- all food and drink were served disposable style. $1.95 for whipped cream, $4.95 for a juice or milk. Our family of 4 each ordered a drink (2 coffees, juice & milk) and together had 3 meals. Upon getting our $81 and change bill we were quite shocked. The bill was $68, but after a compulsory 18% percent gratuity we ended up with an $81 and change bill. This should have been more evident going into establishment. If you spend more than $40 they will sock you with a mandatory extra fee. Over all the food was fine and staff friendly, just quite pricey for the experience. read more

If you are trying to be fancy go to one of the overpriced casino restaurants. If you want a quick sit down or even a grab and go this would be the place. Being the only diner within about 1 mile on the boardwalk, they could really capitalize on their exclusivity, but sadly they do not. The place is a dive. Paper plates, plastic forks, coffee served in cheap paper cups, etc. The food is okay, but not great. They have an issue with auto including 18% tip which seems to upset customers. While we were there a women was irately yelling about them adding the expense to her bill without her knowing and she threatened to call the cops. Probably better office eating at one of the nearby casinos. read more

Okay it's not the best restaurant on the boardwalk but it's a great family lunch restaurant. It's located inside the Atlantic Palace building with an exit to hotel as well as the boardwalk. The owner of this restaurant is a relative of the owners of Bill's Greek restaurant on the boardwalk as well. I LOVE BILLS soooo I wanted to give this place a decent try. I do recommend. You get what you pay for. It's fresh and decent food. Staff was friendly and helpful with a family of small children. I will return. The fact that is so convenient to the Palace it's worth it to us. I went here this past Mother's Day weekend. The place was packed when we arrived and there was about a 10 minute wait. You had to put your name down and party size. The food was really good. We ate here Sunday morning, June 19, 2022 and the lady who waited on us was wonderful and so was the food. Today on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 it is terrible. The guy waiting tables is a jerk. My wife ordered eggs over easy with crispy bacon and grits. The bacon was like rubber, one of the eggs were busted, and to top it off they tried to cover up the busted egg by poring the grits over the eggs. Then the waiter said it was our fault for not asking that the eggs not be covered up with the grits. We never got one refill on coffee. The waiter told the table behind us that their order of toast and coffee was not enough and that they needed to hurry up, eat their toast, and leave. When I come back, if the same waiter is waiting, then we will walk out. read more

In a prime location where so many others choose to over charge, their prices stay fair for one of the best breakfast places on the boardwalk. The staff makes you feel right at home and anyone is willing to help you out if another person is busy with another customer. The diner basically sums up the average dining experience in Atlantic City thus far. My omelette was almost entirely cheese, no eggs and potatoes were cold. The waffles and pancakes were definitely a highlight and were tasty, but the food was served on plastic plates with plastic forks. A lack of class in a place promoting themselves as a mini Vegas is the sad story of ac, and it's represented well in this below average diner. read more
