"YOUYU" definitely brought a plethora of flavor filled dishes to the day. Nothing like taking a moment from the slot machines, to enjoy an authentic meal that hit its mark in every way. The Korean style chicken wings were crispy, and served with a spicy sauce that gave it quite the punch ( delicious ) And when I bit into the Honey Walnut jumbo shrimp I was quite pleased with the outcome. My company and I, shared many of the dishes to enjoy the full experience. My main course was the shrimp & broccoli which lived up to my love for this treasured entree. The broccoli was extremely fresh, while the shrimp had that texture that I always crave whenever I indulge. This review covers two visits in one weekend - happy hour at the bar and take-out to go home. Both great experiences. I stopped in for Saturday happy hour and ordered dumplings and Japanese whiskey. Service was ok. The steamed dumplings were delicious. They didn't have pork so substituted shrimp and I want these on the menu now!!! The dough was light and thin so not heavy. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. You can choose steamed or fried. My only issue is the sauce is crazy spicy. Next time I'd ask for just soy sauce. I do like a Saturday happy hour!!! I ordered take out to use up my food vouchers and got two meals out of it. The mandarin duck from the VIP menu and the pork fried rice. The duck is amazing. It's pricey considering the portion but with comps it's ok. It's hard to get good fried rice at neighborhood places so I will always get it here. Fresh eggs and veggies. Stayed at Hard Rock for Thanksgiving weekend. Ordered some takeout for kids here, but it took so long we were told we could sit at the bar across and wait. When the food was finally ready, we asked if we could eat over there too since the kids were hungry and was told it was fine. After opening up all the food and plating the food for the kids (1.5 and 5), someone comes up and tells us we can't eat there. Then the manager Missy comes yelling at us and tells us the same thing. They said the bar was closed and already cleaned and they would have to clean again if we ate there. We told them their staff told us we could eat at the bar and the kids were already eating, so what's the difference? Wouldn't they have to clean it again anyways? I told the manager to check with her staff before coming to yell at us. When she returned, in a much softer tone, she apologized and said that staff was new, but we still have to leave and go to the food court upstairs, otherwise she would get in trouble. Didn't even offer a regular seating table when there was plenty. On top of that, beef chow fun and dumplings were way too salty, while the roasted pigeon was dry and lacked flavor. And after that fiasco, food was cold. Very unfriendly establishment and rude to kids! Feedback to the manager Missy - stay professional and don't yell in front of kids when you don't know the story. Yelling from a manager should never have happened anyways, that only escalated the situation. I understand rules, but that's why there are managers who should be able to make decisions and say since they miscommunicated, they will allow an exception. Really surprised how good this place is. The honey walnut shrimp had the biggest prawns I've ever seen in similar dishes and the batter was *chef's kiss.* Conveniently located right outside their more formal fine dining/sit down counterpart so you can grab something quick if you're alone or just want to sit at the noodle bar. Very disappointed, the fried rice I had was very dry and had to add extra Sriracha sauce to make it better. I belive the food was rushed because it was near closing and the ingredients were not mixed well. This is located in the Hard Rock Casino- has a fantastic dining spot. The Singapore Noodles were good, but come on, they needed more chicken. Huge portions though, I had enough for a second serving to take home. Now, the wait time for a table on weekends? Ridiculous. You have to reserve. But once you're seated, boom, the food comes out so fast. Fresh ingredients, spices done perfectly, no cutting corners. We've tried many dishes here, and every single time, perfection. The service is quick, even when it's busy. The staff is very accommodating, always checking on us, refilling drinks, clearing plates. 5/24/24 We tried to eat here before a Heart concert but the wait was so long we would have missed out concert. But came after for a late night meal. So happy we did! There are 2 sections a fancier side and a more casual side. We sat at the causal side. A couple of the tables on the casual side is right nest to the hallway, if you sat away from the table a bit people can bump into you. Service was pretty quick. The waiter was polite but not very helpful. For example he didn't tell us that ordering take out would cost $4 per order! If I had ordered it for the table and then doggy bagged it, they would not charge the $4... I did 2 orders that I could have saved $8!!! This place really surprised me and was so much better than I expected. My family and I were enjoying an afternoon at the Hard Rock casino and decided to grab a quick bite. There was no wait to be seated in their open area near the noodle bar. They have an extensive menu and the prices are a bit higher than usual, but that's expected in a casino. Our server was super sweet and social. She answered all questions we had. Located on the first floor of the hard rock hotel, and casino, this location has tons of Asian flare! We arrived on a Wednesday around 6 PM and it was pretty quiet. Including our table there was maybe four other tables in the restaurant. The menu is smaller, but they is still a great variety of offerings. Our server was super nice and polite, and the overall vibe of the location is casual but there's still kind of an upscale flare to it. I opted for the pad thai and it was delicious! From the perfectly cooked noodles to the super moist chicken, it was exactly what I was looking for. The one thing I will warn anybody is that their servings are huge! Despite mixed reviews my partner and I had a great experience here before a show. They initially told us we'd have to wait for a table but ended up sitting us at a high top. It was a few minutes before happy hour was over so we ordered a beer and the lychee gin drink. My drink was delicious. We were craving something simple so he ordered the beef Cantonese lo mein and I got the veggie order. The portions were very healthy with both of our bowls with a good amount of noodles and the additions. I always like having an assortment of sauces at the table too so we added sriracha and chili oil. Overall delicious. It is still pricy but always expected in a casino. 3 drinks and two noodle bowls came to $85, and that's with one beverage being happy hour price. I was torn between eating at Hard Rock Cafe, Youyu noodle bar, or the buffet on the second floor (for $42.99 plus tax). I had a $25 meal voucher, and opted to go for the noodle bar. What I got was a mixed bag. The hostesses were inviting and sat me immediately. Two other individuals were sat at the counter on opposite sides of me within about five minutes. Either the server in the section was very busy or maybe she was not told the other two guests around me were her responsibility because both guests were constantly asking for the attention of a server and she was unable to give it to them. She did however come to me and brusquely asked what I wanted to eat, did not offer me a drink from the menu or a soda (I was fine with water anyway), and was mostly absent during my meal. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai. The dish came out in normal time, no delays. The portion size was HUGE, and given that I was hungry, I was excited to receive it. I had asked for lime slices on the side but they were not there on my plate - a busser made eye contact with me and he was gracious to get me the limes quickly. The rice noodles were cooked correctly, and there was a copious amount of protein in the dish: Chicken in large pieces, tofu cubes, and lots of scrambled egg. There were also lots of bean sprouts and chopped peanuts. The proportion of vegetables, however, was way off, as there were barely any scallions, garlic, onions, or any other vegetation aside from the bean sprouts. Also, the chicken had a funky, almost waxy texture, which was a bit off-putting; thankfully the other proteins were plentiful so I was not suffering. The server came over once to fill my water and did not ask me how my food was; the busser filled my water twice (now is a good time to mention that Youyu serves water in small glass coffee cups so refills need to come quite often) and was attentive and professional. The rest of the menu contained lots of Asian fusion staples, some of which looked good via description and I would try on another visit, some looked way overpriced ($26 for soup dumplings when other dim sum are $10 less? $44 for pepper steak with onion?) I think I made the right call eating here instead of Hard Rock Cafe (not a huge fan of chain eateries like that), but maybe I should have splurged on the buffet. I'd probably give Youyu another shot, I guess it depends on my mood. read more

Stir fry morning glory aka water spinach or on choy is one of my favorites. Young chow fried rice aka house fried rice with bbq pork, shrimp and veggies is so tasty. Also the stir fry rice noodles!! Worst is their inept open table concept where they do not cook or bring out meals at same time for patrons at table. I would understand small gaps in time bringing out dishes. But there was nearly a half hour delay in bringing out dishes for half of table. So half of table finished eating before others were even served. We come here very often, can't believe I haven't written a review yet. We normally get comp dollars every month to use and either come here or the Sandpiper. We came here for lunch on Mother's Day. We got a pot of hot tea and the Sichuan Pork and Vegetable Dumplings to start. The dumplings have a nice spicy flavor and are a tasty way to start the meal. Then we almost always get the same order. I get the Hong Kong style Beef Chow Fun Which is a large portion of firm noodles with a flavorful beef and bean sprouts and onions. We actually got two portions to use up the comp dollars and took more then a portion to go. My hubby got the Taiwanese Beef noodle soup, he really enjoys the flavorful rich broth.
