Service: Overall, a good experience, friendly, quick, and helpful. It was only a few of us in the place, so everything went fairly smoothly. I've been wanting to try out this place for a long time It always shows as a top place in Rialto. We walked in and first thing we noticed is the greasy floor cause I almost slipped. The second thing was the very loud music. So I take it this isn't a place to come to if you want to have a conversation with someone. We walked up to the counter and we were greeted by a nice and helpful lady. She made some recommendations since we had never eaten there. I asked for the carne asada nachos. But she told me they didn't have any meat. We ordered the "Boogie Woogi" which is a breakfast plate with waffles, sausage, bacon and potatoes. We also asked for the breakfast taco with chicken sausage and a fountain drink. I didn't want to have to have to go over the menu so I ordered the same thing with a coffee. I asked if there was a ladies room and I was pointed in the direction of the restrooms. The ladies room looked recently cleaned so that was nice. The place has a cafe vibe. Our number was called and we picked up our food in styrofoam containers. The containers felt very greasy. Our food really didn't have any flavor. The scrambled eggs and potatoes had no seasoning. No salt, no pepper. I get there could be people that can't eat food with salt but this isn't a hospital. Your flavor should be what people come back for. Also, always being stocked with what you offer in your menu is important. I don't have to preach to the choir, I know that. But this place must have reviews for other items on the menu because it wasn't for what we ordered. I did like the chicken taco. The coffee was very strong. Normally, I drink it black with nothing in it. I had to add four creamers and even then it was strong. I'm not saying this is the worst place to eat at I'm merely stating our experience. Ambience: Rock & roll theme with plenty of seating as it's generally fairly empty--it's kind of in the middle of nowhere, so I don't think it's well-known in the area Service: Seems understaffed as even when there aren't many people, a line forms due to the slow service. However, everyone there is friendly! Taste: Last time, got the Perry's Berry waffle, which was one of the best I've ever had! This time, got the All Aboard waffle, which tasted pretty good overall but was undermined by the sour strawberries (perhaps they're just not in season? If that's the case, might be better to just temporarily take them off the menu though). Waffle was warm and had just the right amount of slight crunch to make up for it though, and I'd still recommend this dish overall. Just finished my meal here at this quaint little cafe. I must say, if you haven't been here, you must go! This place is a hidden gem. I can't believe I haven't heard about this place sooner. I hope this review finds many and everyone tries it. It's a must! First off, the location is literally at a train stop where Metro stops in the Inland Empire. If you come here via your own vehicle, you'll find the parking is safe and they even have electric car charger port that will charge your car FREE if you have the app, etc. So, if you're in need of a charge, why not stop in and get something good to eat or drink? You'll be glad you did. There's plenty of standard parking here, as well as bicycle spots to park your two wheeled bike. The food is dynamite!!! I promise they have the best chicken sandwich here that beats Popeye's and Chick-fil-A. You can't go wrong here with this food selection. Served to perfection, the flavoring is dynamite! Served on a brioche bun and thick sliced bacon with melted cheese, they add some ranch that's not overpowering and you'll find this is the best tasting chicken sandwich. You order at the order then wait for your name or number to be called. Everything on the menu sounded good so I had a hard time ordering! I ordered some carne asada tacos, the Chick and Avo Sandwich, and the pie. Tacos were pretty standard, meat was cooked well and came with red sauce although I wish there was salsa verde. Plenty of meat though which was a plus! The Chick and Avo was the star! I got the chicken hot which had a slight kick but was the piece of chicken was thick! Crispy skin with juicy meat. The waffle actually kept everything together which was great - I think the stretchiness/springiness of the waffle helped it not break and keep the avocado and sriracha mayo sauce together. Still a bit messy to too but oh so delicious! I ended the meal with a single serving of the sweet potato cheesecake and it was a great ending to the meal not too sweet and a good size. First off, we got there when it first opened and the employees were still scrambling trying to get the place opened. Not a big deal, we waited 15 mins watching them set up before we got in line to order. Secondly the food is overpriced. Paid $69 for 2 waffles (upgraded), bacon, eggs, potatoes, and sausage. This is during the "Take Out or Delivery Only" time. My first time here. I called in on a Friday at 9:03 AM (they open at 9:00 AM. I ordered the Rialto Firehouse Omelet and a caramel iced coffee. I was told that it would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived at 9:15. I was the only one there; they could of had phone orders and pre-orders. I paid for my food and got 10% off for the phone order. I was charged $0.48 for a service charge and given the option for a tip! I didn't get my food until 9:30 AM. My food was good. Next time I will ask for my omelet to be cooked softer; because it continues to cook in the take-out container, making the egg too hard (for me). The smothered potatoes were good. At home I added pink salt, hot sauce and a bit of sour cream. Very tasty. The iced coffee tasted too milky for me. The decor is very nice. I really wanted to like this place more, but my experience fell short of my expectations and maybe that's my fault for just working off the reviews when I'm hungry. The interior was vibrant and the location is fantastic for commuters (right next to the train station). The wait time to order was a bit long but there were chairs luckily (4 people ahead of us with a 20 minute wait). The wait time to get our food was a bit long since we ordered 2 meals with no customizations and received them in 30+ minutes. I've been to home cooked places and understood it might take a while so that wasn't the biggest issue, but if you hate waiting I wouldn't recommend being impatient here. The biggest issue had to be the cleanliness in all honesty. The tables were wiped down but there was food debris on the floor, the trash can was flooding, and the bathroom was a mess. When I went in the women's bathroom the floors were completely drenched with wet toilet paper/paper towels, toilet paper was rolled all the way down to the floor, the toilet was wet and soap was all over the sink and floor. I made a U-turn and just waited out having to use it till we left. Maybe it was an off day since they seemed really busy. In complete honesty , I would have given this place 3 stars but I'm not about to make it difficult out here for a Black owned business that seems to do things for the community. Cleanliness aside, the food was excellent. The waffles were soft and fluffy, the potatoes were seasoned perfectly and the bacon was crisped up just right. My partner got the fried chicken nachos and they were filling. The salsa definitely had roasted tomatoes and the peppers on the side topped everything off perfectly. Now, just because a business is selling chicken and waffles, doesn't mean it's a soul food place. Some of the reviews putting it down for it not being good soul food aren't very fair since it's just a chicken and waffle/Mexican fusion joint. Maybe check your prejudices at the door before making assumptions. All in all, I don't think the 20 mile drive and price justified the food since there are other great black owned chicken and waffle joints that are a bit closer, albeit more put together, however, if you're located in Rialto and don't want to commute farther than Ontario, I would recommend here if you're craving chicken and waffles. The wings were spicy, crunchy and somehow reminded me of flavor of chicken gravy. WELL DONE!!! The 5 wings are actually 5 wing parts not 5 full triangles. Still they were large and meaty and enough for a to-go box. We also had the carne asada street tacos. Big flavorful and well seasoned beef. It got an affirmation of goodness. The ultimate compliment was from my brother who said "this waffle is so much better than what we get at Roscoe's", and he never gives kudos! The Mambacito was flavorful and filling. Also please do not sleep on the smothered potatoes. A cross between home fries and mashed potatoes, with onions and peppers added in. Great punch of flavor. PROS: Food was pretty decent for such a small local place. This alone would have been five stars maybe 4.5 due to the grease! I recommend THE MAMBACITA with the Sriracha Mayo. So apparently there's a viral video that caused alot of people to come here... Well despite the wait being about 2hours.... the team they have there were Very nice! The cashier was sweet and helpful. The food... definitely not worth a 2 hour wait but none the less it was good... the waffles are delicious... they taste like a crunchy corn bread the chicken batter also taste like it has corn meal in it... there potatoes have a very unique taste that was enjoyable and hard to place. It is on the pricey side but what isn't these days... I would definitely go here again but I would not wait that long again... we hand chicken wing and waffles, fried chicken nachos, winner chicken dinner and one of the chicken sandwiches. When we ordered we thought that the place was kinda expensive, but after we received the food we saw that the amount and quality of food was well worth it. In particular the Boogie brunch, the chicken is delicious, as well as their waffles and maple syrup. The ambiance was nice, they had a jazz band playing live which added a nice touch. Very cool place, tasty food, a bit pricey but delicious. They close at 3 pm. read more

This place will be one that we will give another try soon. The day we went there was a long line as expected and the wait time was also a bit high too. Certain areas of the restaurant were closed off with some chairs so the line was in the way of some customers. The food was extremely delicious and if we were basing it solely on that the rating would be higher. The reason why I'm sticking with three stars is because the ketchup station wasn't properly stocked and the tables stayed dirty for a bit so opted for eating in our car. read more
