    Matcha Roll
    Tracy V.

Visually it was really nice but for value or to satisfy any ice cream craving, it wasn't worth. The ice cream wasn't bad or anything but it was so little. Towards the end, you couldn't even tell that the ice cream were previously rolls. The mini mochi were also kind of hard to chew on. They also were pretty cramped and under construction. They had no service bascially and you had to order online through a QR code at the front. Overall, it's more of a place to take aesthetic dessert pictures by spending nearly $9 for one roll. I had to go to another ice cream place for $1 cheaper but 4x the ice cream to satisfy my craving.

The best-rolled ice cream I've had! I got the strawberry cheesecake rolled ice cream, and it was delicious! Each bite of the delectable strawberry ice cream was so creamy! I also loved the little cheesecake bites it came with. The fresh strawberry slices were the perfect compliment, and I loved the crunchy pockys! If you are a strawberry lover like me, you will enjoy this just as much as I did!

Parking: Located in a very empty / dead strip mall, so there's a good amount available. The store can be kind of difficult to find depending on which parking lot you go to. Ambience: It's very unassuming--it's literally just a booth set up at the entrance of the establishment. There's nowhere to sit, so it's only good for take-out. Service: Standard, no complaints Taste: I got the pandan, which was very artificially green yet only had the very slightest hint of pandan flavor, if any at all. I wouldn't recommend the pandan, but I would recommend the milk tea rolled ice cream that my friend got, which was actually quite flavorful and delicious. Overall, it hits the spot when you're in the mood for aesthetic ice cream--just don't get the pandan flavor if you actually want pandan

The place looks like it's under construction inside and it smells a bit off. I wish there was a sign or some type of notification that you cant even go inside and you have to wait outside in the HEAT!!!!! We were really hoping to see them roll the ice cream but we just had to sit outside in the heat with three benches, huge dissappointment. 4 stars for cookies and cream icecream***

There's no seating indoors and the entrance is blocked by a table. You order via the barcode or someone can help you. I ended getting the Pandan roll and I'd say it was just alright. So the pandan ice cream was actually really good, creamy and not overly sweet. The mochi and whipped cream also worked really well with the pandan flavors too. What I'm confused about was the mango and almond slices. Maybe it was just me but the flavors together was just not it. The mangos and pandan mix of flavors just didn't work for me and the almond just really confused my taste buds. At least the ice cream was really tasty, totally would be fine just the pandan, whipped cream and mochi.

I loveee this spot! Discovered it a few months back and been obsessed ever since! My go to is the Nutella strawberry banana and it's perfect every time. The ice cream is always nice and flavorful and the fruit is always fresh and pretty! I do wish they were open during the week as well but definitely worth visiting on the weekends! Never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my order.

Great ice cream, they rolled it our quick and easy. Good amount of toppings too. Can't go wrong, especially since they open late

October 14, 2023. The only rolled ice cream shop in town. Atlantic and Garvey at Monterey Park next to Daikokuya restaurant. They only open Friday 7pm to 12pm and Saturday and Sunday 4pm to 12am. Their shop is under construction so orders are just taken by their door. As of now their phone from yelp and website is not accurate and we told them about it so they will check in on it. We decided to just visit the place and happy to see that they are open. Rolled ice cream only, snacks are not available for today. They said for next time, we can just scan the code to get to their direct website to order. Monday to Thursdays they are closed. Good service, reasonable pricing.

It looks like a random booth but the store is actually just under construction so you're led to order online. Store wasn't easy to spot but it tasted good. I got the matcha and I liked the toppings a lot. It just tasted like pricy ice cream though but it looks good on photos.

We got the pandan roll and i don't think the almonds were a good compliment. The pandan roll ice cream with Mochi was good, but the mango was sour from what I remembered. There's no seating at the place when we visited, so we had to go back and enjoy it in our car.

Ice cream rolls! After eating dinner around the area, my sister and I were craving for some desserts. It was a cold night but that didn't stop us from wanting some ice cream! They are a small shop. The shop was empty while we were there. Even though we were super full for dinner, we still grabbed 2 flavors especially since they had a deal going on. BOGO! Sweet! We got the milk tea and cookies n' creme. The milk tea tasted weird. Maybe because we're just used to drinking it instead of eating it. The boba was chewy. Cookies n' creme tasted old. The Oreo crumbs and the brownie bites that came with it tasted old as well. Textures for both flavors were not creamy like they should be. They were more on the icy/harder side. It was cool to see how the ice creams were rolled. I felt bad for the workers though because I'm sure their arms were tired from all the work they put into making these rolls. The chopping, the spreading, the rolling. All that for just ice creams. Easier to just scoop lol

This place gets 5 stars as to how they make the ice cream rolls, and as far as presentation is concerned. The available toppings gets 5 stars, but the flavor of the ice cream was just average. I had to try their Halo Halo, since the name and their ingredients were similar to a Filipino dessert. It had coconut jelly, jackfruit, coconut flakes, whipped cream, condensed milk, 2 strawberry wafers and ube ice cream. It tasted similar to a Filipino halo halo. The only reason that I did not give this place 5 stars is because I am accustomed to a more flavorful ube ice cream. My son enjoyed his Thai Tea Oreo. It consisted of Thai tea Oreo ice cream with Oreo crumbs, mini mochi and condensed milk. He said that it was good but, the mochi was harder than most. I would definitely suggest going to this place to watch how rolled ice cream is made.

Exquisite presentation of ice cream! Lots of good flavors and combination of toppings! Wonderful craftsmanship kind of expensive prices, because they have some unique designs to their ice cream. reasonable. Pandan flavor, was delicioussss!!! Will definitely be coming back to try more of their flavors. Staff is friendly and I would recommend to try this place!

While I was there lots of people came in. I used to bring my son years ago. My selection today was a small matcha with strawberries on top. I had the choice of two items in addition to condensed milk which I love. Next time I'll pay extra for more condensed milk. It was absolutely delicious. Even though it's about twelve miles from my home I will make the trip. It's worth it. The service is great too.

Most pictures you see from Tea Brick are their amazing and unique bottle designs, which you can pay a tad bit extra to get the bottle with your drink rather than the standard cups. On our most recent visit - admittedly our first in a while - I was surprised that the flavors mostly seemed like repeats from a long time ago. Of course, you want to feature what is most popular, but I remember previously seeing things that were truly one of a kind, even for them. (Out of curiosity, I visited their website and the seasonal flavor blog hasn't been updated since spring 2021). None of this is a deal-breaker, but the feeling of "tiredness" permeated my interaction with the staff, too. There was no joy behind the counter, which I found odd for ice cream that is supposedly about the love of travel. When I tried to order a scoop of one flavor, I was told that I couldn't have it because there wasn't enough left for a full scoop. When I asked if I could have the half scoop that remained and just combine it with another flavor (trying to solve the problem for them), I was told that they aren't allowed to do half and half splits anymore. Fortunately, another employee showed up at that very moment with a fresh full tub of that flavor, but it still struck me as odd. They were also out of cones because of another problem. I am giving them four stars because the ice cream is still great and definitely worth a try if you've never had it, but I hope they can maintain their spark and magic as they continue to expand.
