I had a good experience at William's Donuts (Monterey Park). I ordered the Sugar Donut ($1.80). It's fresh & fairly big. YUM! (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 3.5% added fee for card payments.) I arrived at William's Donuts (Monterey Park) on Tuesday (around 7:12AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big. This location is also very visible. It's near the CVS pharmacy and the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library. Staff is professional, business-like, and friendly. Staff speaks very quickly like someone that needs to keep working nonstop. Staff is very attentive. On ambiance, William's Donuts (Monterey Park) is fairly clean. There's a couple indoor and outdoor table. There's also an ATM machine inside. Once in a while, I don't want any fancy or even restaurant foods, but I want simple hole in the wall fast food. I was craving this, especially along the lines of breakfast food. I saw that William's Donuts had also served breakfast sandwiches, so I decided to give this place a try. I went for brunch to get a quick bite to eat. This restaurant is quite close to my house, so the drive was super fast. The restaurant is located right next to a CVS. The donut place truly is a small hole in the wall. The air conditioning was off, and there were not many seats. The staff were super kind though. I ended up ordering a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on a croissant. The croissant was enormous. The sandwich came with several sausage patties. The sandwich is slightly expensive but is quite filling. The sandwich alone was enough to fill me for lunch. I also liked that the sandwich was made to order so everything was hot and fresh. read more

No complaints. Chill donut spot. Was nice and quiet. The donuts were good. The coffee was good. They had both the creamer and donuts I wanted. Fast and friendly service. The owners I have found to be good people based off my encounters with them both being on separate visits. Didn't catch her name but I'm assuming she's the wife, she made me want to come back after my first visit. Very welcoming upon entering the establishment. I've ordered their donuts through the "too good to go" app 4 times. The first time, it was great. Donuts were fresh out of this display. Unfortunately, it has consistently gone downhill after that. Each subsequent time, the donuts became more stale and unfortunately, in today's pickup, it is obvious it was at least a day old. The frostings were already crumbling off the donut. The yeast donuts were "shrinking/shriveling." Again, signs that it was 1+ day old. I understand the donuts from TGTG are for leftovers but these were uppercase LEFTOVERS and ready for the trash. Unfortunately this will be the last time I order donuts through TGTG app for this shop. I think it's good if it's fresh, so for those who don't mind paying retail, go for it and make sure it comes out of the display. I stopped by Williams Donuts for the first time earlier today - Christmas Eve 2024! The donut selection wasnt extensive since it was already later in the day at around 1:45 PM. We ordered one apple fritter and a dozen donuts holes for $5 and we paid in cash. The apple fritter leans more on the sweet side but the donut holes were perfect - light and fluffy. I would def purchase these again! Note: there is a minimum for Credit card usage so just be prepared to have some cash on hand. I'll be back next time I want to grab some donuts! read more

Check out this minority-owned and operated family business for all your bakery, confectionery, instant noodles, teriyaki, homemade bubble tea, coffee and smoothie needs, wants, desires and fantasies. I found this delightful spot in 2023 while admiring the "United We Dance" signage adorning Garvey Blvd a few feet away from the entrance. Free parking lot. Disabled parking, entrance and seating is plentiful, easy to use and access. I was given great recommendations and service by a mother and daughter team who work here together. Thanks! This place has freshly made meals, a great selection of imported Asian instant noodles on sale, Thai Tea, Vietnamese Iced coffee and incredible exotic fresh fruit, avocado and sweet potato smoothies. Five stars! Located at the entrance gates of Monterey Park. Where "Monterey Park Strong" has a special meaning to me and so many people in the community. This place has it all. Disappointed when I walked in there wasn't a single donut but there was a couple of danishes croissants and blueberry twist bread I walked in around 7:30ish but this has to be a good sign right..? Giving it the benefit of the doubt thinking that they tossed them away due to sitting through out the day the male worker told me sorry but we'll have donuts tomorrow morning I ended up getting a croissant prepared with ham and cheese was delicious and temperature was perfect nice and warm. Visited here around 5/27/2025. Honestly, I'd rate it a 4 and a half. Explanation below. 1. They accept credit cards. 2. Ambiance of the store seemed fairly relaxed. Had some background music playing and for the most part it was quiet and welcoming (The lady behind the donut was display will holler out a, "Hello friend," as soon as you walk in). 3. Ordered a maple bar and a dozen donut holes. Maple bar was light and airy on the inside. The maple glaze wasn't overtly sweet, which i appreciated. It covered the entire top of the bar. Whoever made the donuts made sure not to be too heavy handed when putting the glaze on it. Donut holes were good. Average sized balls. Not every ball was glazed but they were still a delight to eat. 4. I'd only take half star off because the lady kept on asking me what I wanted when I was trying to figure out what I wanted and what they had to offer. And then when I chose one thing, she continued to ask, "Ok, and what else" repeatedly as if she was in a hurry. Mind you, there was no one else inside except a man eating at a table. Popped in because we were at the CVS and my husband loves donuts. He picked up a coconut raised and glazed old fashioned. I don't really like baked goods or sweets too much so I ordered a green juice. I was only asked if I wanted medium or large. I get that it's an easy way to upsell because psychologically when you offer someone 2 options they have a very high chance of choosing one of the 2 options presented instead of getting a small if you were to ask them what size they want. They did have small, medium , large advertised on the menus. If the juice had turned out to be really good I wouldn't have minded. But the green juice that was supposed to have kale, cucumber, celery and green apple tasted watered down and mostly of cucumber. We have a slow juicer at home and I've been making juices (and green juices) for years. I've made juices with these ingredients and the color was too light and like I said - it tasted watered down. That was disappointing. When I ordered the green juice - the lady asked my husband if he wanted a juice. And mentioned he should get an orange juice and it's good. Also gave him the option of medium or large. The orange juice wasn't bad but the navel oranges used weren't that great which made the juice also not the tastiest. The old fashioned donut was the fluffiest old fashioned my husbands ever had. The thing I didn't really like about it was there was a pretty distinct oil taste in the donut. I'm not sure if it's because the oil is getting really old and needs to be changed or if the oil frying temp is too low causing the donuts to soak up too much oil..whatever the case - the raised donut also had that oily flavor. read more

They are a great family who run this business and everything I've tried has always been delicious and at a great price. I believe the lady owner just looks at each customer and just charges what she thinks she can get away with. Ordered food 3 days this week and each time was charged increasing different amounts, even though I got the exact same thing. At first I thought they might have had some last minute issues so I let it go - but then the last time she even shorted me on change. Never gives receipts. Also she would always be able to get drinks from the fountain machine for other people but always told me to just get a canned coke from the fridge? Which is kinda strange, not what I ordered and paid for, and also is a much smaller amount with no ice. Like literally the guy before me had almost the exact same order but no problems with the soda machine. I wanted to support a small business but this type of behavior is really unprofessional! Really did not appreciate the random shake down for more and more money. I thought of eating a donut for breakfast as I was driving by before going to work. I got there around 7:30am and only 1 person was eating there and another paying. As I was as waiting, they sell variety of sandwiches, smoothies, and rice bowls. Finally the counter lady greeted me and I quickly scanned at the donut glass. Went in for the first time two days ago and ordered half a dozen donuts for my husband and son, and a dozen donut holes for my mom the Asian couple working there were so sweet. The husband was joking around and all smiles. I got such a good vibe from them. My family enjoyed their donuts so much, i came back today! And this time they had their adorable little 3 year old daughter there! I ended up getting a dozen more donuts and 2 dozen donut holes My whole family loved their donuts! Been here twice and I didn't think about how much we were being charged until I read the reviews. I thought it was pricey but the food was good and didn't question it. Today I did the math and it doesn't add up. We paid $26.36 for a $5.00 iced medium mocha, $2.50 large coffee, $2.50 dozen donut holes and $6.24 ham bacon egg cheese bagel.
