Ordered a half plate on DoorDash. Here is my brutally honest opinion. Chicken- cooked well. It was the baked chicken option. Tender. Flavorless Cabbage- one thing I was looking forward to. Zero and I swear on my kids, ZERO flavor. Still tough. Rice and beans, mid. Beef patty- great and flaky. I paid $3 for a side of pikliz and it was in a salad dressing (small) sized disposable cup. Was around town running errands. I stopped in and ordered the half bowl with the pulled jerk chicken, and it was perfect. The half bowl portion was just right--filling without being too heavy. It came with rice and pickles vegetables. The flavor on the jerk chicken was excellent it was pulled chicken with a great balance of spice and seasoning. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Came out hot and perfect! If you're unsure about portion sizes, the half bowl is a great option and still very satisfying. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. I've been here several times. I have to catch it on certain days because the menu rotates. The owner is very nice and any staff I've encountered has always been friendly. Very cute decor. They also have Boba but I didn't try because I wanted to try the mango lemonade. This food is consistently delicious and the was lemonade is great. I will say it's on the pricey side BUT good portions! They have the option to do a half portion at a lower price . I'm VERY particular about Mac and cheese and collards... but here.. I get it EVERY time! I don't ever eat dark meat chicken but I absolutely love the leg quarters from here. ONLY HERE! Needless to say, if ever you're wanting some delicious island food.. I finally got the opportunity to go and try this place today. I wasn't disappointed in my decision to try this place. I went with the baked chicken, cabbage and rice. Lance the young man that was working the front was very nice and friendly. While we were chatting, they got my plate together. Didn't take long. This adorable, family-owned bistro is authentic and welcoming from the first greeting. We ordered the Caribbean bowls, which were so flavorful. The combination of items in the bowls were perfectly cooked and balanced. Don't miss their house-made sauces! They also have a full selection of flavored teas (boba too!), and will customize the sweetness to your liking. Don't forget to try their homemade cornbread muffins! Great service and fantastic food! My husband had the jerk chicken plate, and it was tender and delicious. I had the marinated chicken bowl. It was very tasty! The pikliz (Caribbean Cole slaw) was excellent! The homemade hot sauce had great flavor but it's made with habanero peppers, so use caution if you don't like much spice. The food was so good I really didn't want to cover up the flavor, but I did dip my fork in the sauce for a little extra kick with the beans and rice. The family is very friendly and was helpful in describing the food choices available. The menu rotates so check out their social media pages for daily updates. My husband wants to go back Thursday and try the jerk pork chops. :) Currently they are in a small space so they don't have seating for large groups, but they plan to move to a larger location very soon. read more

The food is amazingly flavorful, and the people are extraordinarily genuine and down to earth. The place is small, so don't expect a sit down dinner, but if you want some amazing food to take home and enjoy with your family, this is the place. I had the jerk wings and, let me tell you, those were the best wings I have had in a very long time, and I love wings. Yes, the prices are on the high side per plate, but the amount of food in each serving is so large that it is easily shareable between two or more people--so really divide the price in half for the true cost of your meal.
