came last sunday around 10am, place is fairly small seems like there was only 2 or 3 workers when we came but we always felt well attended to. staff was really friendly and welcoming. and again despite not having much staff it didn't feel like a long wait for the food at all. prices are pretty typical for a regular breakfast spot. food is very tasty i really liked every item we got which was the woffles, da bomb and the churro frenchie. would come here again over over done places like breakfast republic or hash house. love how cute and small the place is super personable. ordered a latte it comes from an automatic machine so it wasn't the greatest but we got the funky lemonade or something and that was really good. also the drinks come in a huge glass so felt really worth the money. would probably just skip the coffee next time but nothing to keep us away. shout out to the team definitely great energy. oh and we ordered food for our 2 dogs and it was a big portion we so we split it between the two (one dog is 30lbs the other is 7lbs) and they loved it. staff was even attentive to our dogs too and made sure they both had water. overall loved our experience :) read more

We ordered the avocado toast, a side salad and the reuben sandwich. The salads were very good as was the reuben. The avocado toast was way too bready for me. We sat outside because we have a doggie meet. The place is small with a few tables. We are a party of 5 with 1 baby and 2 fur babies. I took the last big table available outside. The place is busy which is awesome because they have good food and great coffee. I had 2 cups of coffee and my breakfast is delicious. My friend's chicken sandwich looks amazing too. No pic of the sandwich as we were all hungry. Really decent food and price. Great coffee and they also have latte but no plant based milk. Service was great. First time visiting with my husband and a friend. We arrived just early enough to miss the crowds, around 9am on a Sunday. Friendly service from the moment we arrived. I ordered a latte and a croissant sandwich. The flavors were good, but I'd recommend adding some type of sauce, mayonnaise or something to help make the sandwich not feel so dry. It would probably not have needed it, if it didn't come with hash browns in the sandwich. Once you add the hash browns you kind of need to add a little bit of something. The bacon was on point. We went with outdoor seating which was nice on a hotter day. I definitely recommend you stop by. They have fun menu item names and a decent variety of breakfast for a small local shop. It's a small dining room with an outdoor eating area on the front There are some nearby tables in the shade so if it's crowded I think a to go order and popping over there maybe the move I have a frenchie so I had to order the chicken and woofles 10/10 for presentation They are a thick fluffy pancake I do think they needed butter on the side but they were light and the chicken strips it came with were great. The food was packed with flavor, and let's talk about the Frenchie waffle... come on, it was so freakin' cute! I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but their coffee was light, smooth, and easy for me to enjoy. The customer service was amazing, and everyone made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. This place is so cute! I love the French bulldog theme that is carried throughout the restaurant. Staff is very nice and got a water bowl for my dog as soon as I was sat. They have a separate dog menu and have a lot of variety in the human menu. Pricing is reasonable, honestly on the cheaper end for brunch. Would love to come here again! read more

The patio is on the casual and simple side, and not as cute as the ambiance inside. They were very accommodating as our group had babies and a dog. Overall the place is small and probably better suited for 2 people for comfort or 4 people max. The food was tasty and consisted of brunch and lunch food. I had to order a side of the Frenchie pancakes since they were so cute! Breakfast burrito was solid. The special lemonade was WAY too sweet and I couldn't continue drinking it. I got the breakfast bowl - nothing fancy or overly flavorful but have zero complaints and gobbled it up. I will say service was slow but they only had one server. They also had no spoons for stirring coffee so used the plastic knife. They don't have many vegetarian options but I'm sure some dishes could be made sans bacon. We were greeted and seated right away by a nice gentleman, which we can only assume was the owner. Servings were more than enough and the chicken n' woofles had a good taste to it. The dipping sauce for the chicken is an added bonus. There's an indoor and outdoor seating so if you're bringing your little fur baby, this is the perfect spot. Only thing that stood out to us is the "No Public Restroom" sign. It wasn't a big deal for us because we did not have a need to use it but just keep that in mind. Got the chicken and waffles with their signature Frenchie-style waffles (shaped like little dogs), and it was both fun and actually really good. This is a nice family owned breakfast and lunch restaurant in Lemon Grove. It recently took over a long time deli in the area. I came in for breakfast and ordered their house breakfast burrito for $13 plus tax. The burrito came on a sun-dried tomato and red pepper flour tortilla, and came filled with scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and cheddar Jack cheese. I liked that they toasted the tortilla well on the hot griddle after they wrapped the burrito. The eggs were well seasoned nicely, the bacon was tasty, and the hash browns were good. I would have liked a little more cheese in the burrito however. It was a very good breakfast burrito and I would order it again. They offer a good amount breakfast and lunch items, not to mention coffees and a handful of signature French Toasts. There's parking right out front and more in the back. Great service and delicious food! Brought our frenchie to join us for brunch and he was lucky enough to get a full meal too thanks to their puppy menu. We ordered him the Morning Bark meal (which means he'll be getting a much smaller dinner tonight, ha!) The restaurant is small and quaint with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. There are plenty of breakfast or lunch options to choose from. The nice silver plasticware did not throw me off, it works just fine and fits the casual vibe of the place! What a nice place. This is family own/operated, and it is obvious they really care to make our experience there an excellent experience. We ordered an avocado toast and added egg on top. My friend and I were splitting the order and the dish came out already cut and beautifully presented so we could eat them using the sharing plates. We also ordered the pica salad and added grilled chicken on top. My friend was not sure about the flavor of the chicken, so when they realized that they quickly prepared another salad for us. We also got to try the strawberries and banana French toast which was beautiful and delicious. I will say they serve very nice hearty bread in their dishes, which the plasticware is not quite matched for. I would suggest just getting some better silverware that doesn't bend. Ordered 3 breakfast burritos, fries and a diet coke for about 45 dllrs Price was ok for 3 burritos (in San Diego). The burrito was ok but it had way too much egg on one end(i know i know but hear me out) and maybe sprinkle of hash and bacon. The food wasnt mixed well and had places where it was solid egg with no bacon, cheese or hash. The 2nd half was mainly potato. The taste was good but it was more of an egg burrito than a combination of breakfast staples inside my burrito. I think I counter 5 small chewy pieces of bacon. I was given a regular coke instead of diet coke and the fries were soggy. The taste was good, though.
