I've eaten in the Sports Bar on a number of occasions with my family and have never left satisfied. The food quality is mediocre at best. The atmosphere is cool and casual with tv screens all over (even small screens in the back booths). The staff is kind and helpful. We recently had a reunion in the one of the banquet halls. The service was incredible, the food was outstanding, the decor was more than appropriate and the price was excellent. The did an excellent job helping us to put our event together and making it extra special. There was not one person that did not enjoy the venue or the food. Nothing but great feedback. I have 3 adult children that have recently become seriously involved, I'm recommending this hall when they become engaged. The food is way over priced for the quality. They use a lot of processed food. Very disappointing. My husband and I live in Wadsworth and go to Canton to eat, as this is the only "nicer" eatery in town. Neither of ous like it. We have had brunch there where the danish looked like it came from Sam's Club and was dry, and have had dinners that were not acceptable. We ate there at least a dozen times to "give it another chance". Sorry...doesn't cut it. It is not for a trained palate. read more

I love the all beef hot dogs and hamburgers from Circle L farm! And you can buy them in bulk too right in the market! Yum!

Just left there and we had an outstanding dinner. The crab and red pepper soup was absolutely delicious. My salad and both of our dinners were great. ( prime rib and salmon) We shared a Figgy Pudding for dessert and it was the perfect ending to a holiday meal. Great job, Galaxy! read more

I am giving this place 1 star because it the lowest option possible. Went there with my family for dinner, the food was low quality greasy food, they charge you $2.59 for an upgraded side of onion rings, the plate had 5 onion rings on it, and it took forever for the waitress to being our beverages. We asked the bar tender, who was our waitress, about the amount of food for the price, her response was "it always come that way." I would save your money and go somewhere else. After our waitress realized that we were upset, she stopped waiting on us and had somebody else do her job! Terrible food and service. Waste of money. read more

My husband took our young child here for dinner this weekend. They ended up leaving after being seated for 20 minutes without a server acknowledging them; even though they were sitting right next to the watress station. We will not be returning here anytime soon. It's a real shame that the owner/manager has allowed the servers to lose the restaurant business. read more

The Galaxy has a very good Sunday brunch, I've been here for brunch many times and it is always very good with lots of variety, you have to ask your server for the crab legs which are not on the buffet but are made to order for quality control. I've always had good food and service at the other venues here too, including the sports bar, steak house and wine bar.The restaurant owners have their own ranch that supplies the restaurant (direct farm to table). read more

Had to wait 5 minutes to be seated while at least 4 people working there walked right past us. Had to wait another 10 minutes for a waitress to come talk to us and by then we knew what we wanted to eat. We ordered water and Pepsi and burgers and wings. Very simple. Had to wait 15 more minutes for our drinks. Then another 30 minutes for the wings and then another 30 minutes for our burgers. Our burgers were overcooked and the bun was hard and had to pay an upcharge of 2.50 for fries that were cold and a very small portion. When we were done I stacked our plates and waited another 10 minutes for the waitress to bring our check. And I never got a refill on my Pepsi. Will never go there again after the awful experience. And then to top it off we got food poisoning. The day after we woke up and were bother throwing up and diarrhea. Awful sweats. Aching all over. Not only was the service and food awful they made us sick on top of it. read more

The Galaxy has several different dining areas, including a sports bar. We ate in the Wine Room which was very elegant. Our food was exceptional, service was good. And of course there was an excellent selection of wines. My steak was done perfect and it was huge. read more

I've eaten here now several times. (Not many options in town) and find the food average at best and generally overpriced - especially for sandwiches and burgers. You might be better off with some of the entrees. The patio is nice, and it's a good place to watch a game. The atmosphere in the wine bar is nice as well. read more

We were there for their summer cruise and had a blast! Sat on the patio which is comfortable. The band they had was so good. Service was excellent considering the place was packed. Hubs had the 10 oz filet and I had the 20 oz cowboy rib-eye. Both were cooked to proper temp and were delicious. They have a casual sports bar, a formal dining room and a wine room depending on your taste and mood. The prices were very reasonable also. We are going back in November for their wine taste. Recently met friends for a casual meeting in the evening on a weekday. I had not ordered food there for quite awhile as I have attended many parties in the back room and the food is always the same typical buffet food served over and over. Change it up, be different. Anyhow, in the bar, my husband and I ordered wings and I have to say they were GREAT. In fact we said we would go back and order them again. I was told about the Galaxy from a couple of co-workers. They have the best tasting burgers! The service is truly exceptional as well. The galaxy burger (kind of their version of a fancier Big Mac) and their pub fries are my favorite. They also have an awesome patio for the summer months. read more

I have been here twice the last few months both times for banquets. The food and banquet rooms have been very good and both events had 100 or more people. This past month I had prime rib at the banquet and it was excellent. It was not fatty like it can be at some restaurants. Other banquet food I have had here have been past with red sauce and alfredo sauce, chicken, tilapia parmesan style, cannoli for dessert, ice cream. very good vegetable sides include baby carrots and green beans. Bread basket that comes to the banquet table comes with 2-3 kinds of rolls and they are very warm which makes applying butter a cinch. Pitchers of iced tea and water are provided at each banquet table along with a carafe of coffee. Plenty of parking nearby and a good banquet venue if out of town guests need to come because next door are a Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Inn. Easy access off of Interstate 76 in the Southeast Corner of Medina County on the Summit County border. read more

We went to Easter Brunch 4-16-2017. We had attended Easter Brunch quite a few years ago. It was amazing so suggested attending this year. Totally disappointed. For the price you pay, food was just ok. Our reservation was at 2:15 and brunch ended at 3 so maybe they ran out of prime rib but the steak they offered was not prime rib. The ham seemed a bit spongey. Maybe overcooked. Only 1 type of chicken offered. Yes, they were busy but we probably only saw our waitress 2 times and I went the last 1/2 hour with nothing to drink. Stopped in around 130am Saturday night (I guess Sunday morning!) after a birthday party elsewhere. Server made sure to tell us the kitchen would close in about 20 minutes so no problems getting our decisions made. Late night menu only snacks -- calamari (thick breading), fried cheese, nachos, chicken tenders. Certainly nothing fancy but at 130-2am, it got the job done. read more

Tried out the sports bar and loved it. The short ribs were delicious, the draft beer selection had a great mix of local and national craft brews, the cake I had for dessert was good (not too dry), and the waitress (Tabitha) was personable. I knocked a star off because a gnat appeared at some point during the meal, and where it was 10 degrees F outside at the time I'm pretty sure that means it came from the food. read more

I tried this place for the first time when living in the area for most of my life. I was very disappointed. We waited over 45 minutes for an order of wings and sides when there were 10 other people in the restaurant. Staff wasn't very friendly. I wouldn't recommend and don't plan on returning. read more

The Galaxy is very special in terms of décor and atmosphere. We dined in a party of 4 in the steakhouse section (which is confusing by the way, having 3 different "venues" within one building). Our steaks were full of gristle and the carrots were from a bag. The wine and beer ordered were ok. I found the prices ridiculous for Wadsworth, however I would not have minded paying it for quality food. I keep reading in the paper about the famous chef there who does sound very nice. However, if you're going to try and promote you are an awesome quality steakhouse, please choose quality meat to serve. Also I had mentioned upon being asked if there was a birthday or celebration in our group, which there was. Our waitress never asked so we did not get our free whatever it was supposed to be. I was very disappointed paying $200 for what should have been an awesome dinner out for my family. The buffets on Sunday's are very good, but everything in the restaurant seems unorganized and half the time there is no one at the greeter's stand. Weird. After recently being a transplant to the wadsworth area the Galaxy seems like it would be a logical choice for a good meal. We have eaten there several times now and never had a meal that left me saying, "Hmmm, now that was good". I'm not pretentious, but I do expect good food at a restaurant that has all the window dressing and potential to be great. I have never posted before, but felt compelled enough to finally review the Galaxy. This place is average at best. If you belly up to the bar and eat, you're fine. They pay attention to you and the food is decent enough with a couple beers. However, if you plan on taking your family there to get a good meal, you may want to reconsider. The service is fair and the food is marginal at best. I only wish there were more options in this area because I would very likely find someplace else. Apparently, I will have to drive to the montrose area to find something decent. Good luck Galaxy......It's gonna be a while. read more
