Chicken Alfredo. Good bread, good sauce, good pasta. One of the worst pieces of chicken I've ever had.

The best way to characterize this place is: would I go back? no. Would I discourage you from going there? Also, no. Our server Niel was great. Friendly and fast. Provided all the info you would want and quick to take care of us. The big issues here are quality and price. We started with the whitefish dip. Looked great but it was a huge bowl of cream cheese with very little fish and largely flavorless. The bread that came with it was good, but not near enough and they charge you for more. For dinner I had the Chicken Alfredo. My wife had a Prime Rib French Dip. The Alfredo sauce was excellent, the pasta was good and well cooked. But the chicken was VERY clearly cooked (probably from frozen) well ahead of time and reheated (likely in a microwave). It was dry, overcooked and somehow still chewy. My wife's prime rib was also definitely precooked and put in a warmer. Which they stated was the same prime rib as the $40 entree. It was dry.. very dry. The fries were meh. Probably a frozen bag fried up fast. For the price, $80 for all that and I had water, you'd expect FAR better quality. If all you compare it to is other St Ignace places, maybe this is 3 and a half stars, but I can't offer more than two of I'm being fair. Niel and the presentation saved them from the hard 1 star.

This.place.is.good! We eat local when we travel. The galley popped up, and it was a winner. Really like the attitude, attention we were paid while there. Food was excellent, service was great as well. Top notch!

The wait was about 15-20 minutes - so much better of a wait time! I like the theme and vibe of the place - the play on bikes and name of the restaurant is perfect. Decor is bike themed but not overly done. Rustic and laid back. Our waitress was excellent - very friendly and attentive. All staff were wearing masks. Good drink menu in addition to food. A lot of small plate options but the portion sizes of the small plates could feed at least 2-4 people. I went with sweet potato fries and steak tender bites - delicious! The dipping sauces for the fries had three different options - sweet/savory, loved trying each one. The sweet potato fries were not mushy and had a good crunch. The steak was cooked to perfection - I asked for medium and I got medium! Everyone seemed happy with their food. Restrooms were downstairs. Nice dining option in the city - only con there was no outdoor seating. Picking up on social media - looks like this place used to be Huron St. Pub & Grill not sure if it was a re-branding or new owners. Either way, I hope Broken Spoke is here to stay on the island!

We were greeted by friendly employees every step of the way. We had lunch, ordered pizzas, and they were delicious. They make their own meatballs.. so good.. Had no problem ordering food with the QR code on the table, but it wasn't real busy and employees also offered to take our orders. We liked the menu and found it impressive, more of a foodie experience. The better restaurants often have a smaller menu and everything is fresh and tasty. We noticed that, it was not dozens of choices but a few, and quality products. Salads, appetizers, sandwiches. Anyway, we came back for breakfast lol... worth it! Ohhh they have wonderful coffee too...... We were here during the last week of July. Anyway, we came back a third time.... for dinner and live music... on a friday night...... this time we had the beer experience too. That was fun! A new experience for us and we enjoyed it, a lot. Gotta rem tho to close out your tab.... btw, We are not big outside eaters, but we saw ppl enjoying themselves outside. Congratulations to the people behind this business, very successful. What a huge plus for St Ignace. Parking out front on the street, not sure if the Arnold lot is available out front. The hostess at the front desk was polite, friendly and carefully explained how their system worked. She left the front and came with me to show exactly how their system worked bracelets worked and how you get charged per once of beer, wine and hard seltzer. It was pretty simple, but made complete sense after her demonstration. She answered a few questions and took her time with me, later I noticed her doing the same with other customers. That was a great way to begin my tasting and meal. I decided to try three 5 oz. beers to see what they had and what I liked best. I had an Amber Lager, a Doppelbock and the Lake Huron IPA. All were good, especially the IPA and Doppelbock. Some of the 5 oz. Pours only came to a couple bucks, the beers are individually priced. The Lake Huron IPA was hoppy, crisp and had a good finish (maybe between malty and biscuit). I ordered the Brisket Smoked Corn Street Tacos. They came about ten minutes after I ordered with the hostess (they have a scan menu at the table, but I was told orders can be placed through the counter as well). The tacos were absolutely amazing, the brisket flavor was sweet and smoky, the street corn and lime drizzle was a perfect addition. The order comes with three tacos, which is a good amount...but they were so delicious that I was tempted to put in another order, I resisted and tabbed out after finishing my beer. My bill came to $30 for the 3 (5 oz beer samples), 1 tall pour of IPA and the Smoked Brisket Tacos. I feel that price was very fair for the quality of the beer, food and service. I will definitely come back again and would 100% recommend to beer lovers.

I traveled to Scotland and London, and this fish and chips beat out what I had while there. I am not a huge fan of steak fries, but these lived up to my expectations and had enough crisp on some to make up for the softness I associate with this type of fry. The Cole slaw was enough to be a meal in itself. But the fish, were the star of my plate and the tartar sauce...I need this recipe or a bottle of the sauce. My travel mate opted for the Ruben sandwich. I tasted the corned beef, had a great flavor to it. There were no complaints from our table. She also got a coffee to go, asked for cream...came out with the cutest little cream pitcher. The cup is also biodegradable, which is great since it would end up in a recycle bin along the way.
